The five watched Jessica's dejected backview as she left the room.
Yuri's heart broke on the inside.
She promised, promised Jessica she would be there for her,
to help her out.
But now?

"Tae and Yoon"
"How could you two do this to Jessica?" said Yuri sadly.
"You could see how much she look up to the both of you"
"How much you two stand in her heart"
"You two were one of her most important person in her life"
"And when she've decided to come clean with you two"
"You two just made her like an enemy"
"Literally pulling Tiffany and Sunny behind the two of your back"

Taeyeon glared at Yuri angrily.

"Of course i would pull her behind me" said Taeyeon bluntly.
"Angel, angel Yul!"
"You shouldnt be with an angel"
"They hate us!"

"Stop generalising every angel to be the same Tae!" exclaimed Yuri in distress.
"We've met a few good ones, havent we?!"

YoonSun and Tiffany watched the two older girls fought in anger.
Tiffany just kept quiet and stayed behind the fuming Taeyeon.

"So what if we've met a few good ones?!"
"So what if Jessica wont harm us?!"
"But can you guarantee the rest around her wont?!"

"Tae!"
"You're dragging this so far from what we were talking about!"
"Why on Earth would the rest around her come and harm us?!"

Taeyeon's anger grew, as well as the hurt inside her.
That Jessica, the girl whom she saw her as her dongsaeng,
was now an angel.
The kind which kills and hunts after theirs.
As Taeyeon's eyes grew teary, everything broke out from .

"You wanna know why?!"
"Why am i reacting this way?!"
"Its totally because i dont want to lose any of you!"
"I dont want any of you to come to any kind of risk!"
"I dont want to take my chances!"
"I dont want to lose Tiffany!"

"But you're losing Jessica now!"

"Believe me or not"
"I cant bear to lose her!"
"I believe she wont hurt us, but how can she guarantee the rest wont?!"
"HOW?!" exasperated Taeyeon in tears.

Yuri knew Taeyeon was hurt.
That was the second, second Taeyeon broke down that hard.
Walking over to Taeyeon, Yuri pulled Taeyeon into a hug.

"Tae, i know"
"We all know we are concerned for Jessica"
"But would you rather her to take her chances with her cancer"
"Or regain her mysterious identity to live?"

"Yul.."
"I really love her.."
"She's like my dongsaeng.."
"Like you & Yoona.."
"But i cant let anyone of you to be harmed just because of her.."

Yuri carressed Taeyeon's back lovingly.

"I promise you, i wont get harmed.."
"Please, Tae, accept Jessica for who she is"
"She cant choose for who she is"
"But she's trying her best" persuaded Yuri slowly.
"We've to trust her and believe her"

Tiffany nodded behind Taeyeon with a smile.

"I trust Jessi" said Tiffany firmly.

Sunny nodded in agreement,

"When it comes to trust, i believe Sica fully"
"She's the kind to be trusted" added Sunny with a smile.

Taeyeon watched Jessica's two best friend spoke up for her,
with that sincere expression.
Pondered over it for seconds, Taeyeon finally gave in.

"But if she were to hurt anyone of you"
"Anyone around to hurt anyone of you"
"Im not letting it go that easily" said Taeyeon firmly.

Taeyeon, the first born of the immortals.
Her sense of authority and rights kicked in again.

Yuri sighed and nodded sadly,
followed by Yoona.

"I'll go check up on Jessica first"
"Bye" said Yuri as she swiftly got off from seat and left the room in a hurry.

Strolling along the quiet streets at night,
cool breeze were blowing at Jessica,
that disappointed, heartbroken her.

"Someone's sad huh" interrupted a voice with a chuckle.

Jessica's train of thoughts were interrupted by that familiar voice.
The voice Jessica had missed.
Turning around, Jessica's eyes widened in shock.

"Missed me?" said the voice with a smirk.

Jessica's eyes literally turned watery as she ran towards that figure and threw her a bear hug.

"Mutt!"

"Woahwoah"
"Take it easy honeystar"
"I know you missed me" teased Sooyoung as she carressed Jessica's back of her head with a smile.

Jessica immediately broke the hug and gave her a playful slap on her arm.
Smiling while wiping off her tears, Jessica was really glad inside to see Sooyoung.
At all times, whenever she was sad and depressed,
Sooyoung would always be there for her.

"Come on, lets have a little talk alright?" said Sooyoung as she pulled Jessica to a bench nearby.

Taking a seat on the bench, Jessica sighed softly.

"Mutt, i dont know why do you always appear at times when i needed someone to talk to.."
"But im really thankful for it.."

"Probably you're just lucky?"
"You always happened to be in trouble whenever im out hunting" lied Sooyoung with a smile.

To be honest, Sooyoung said she would be looking out for Jessica from afar,
and she really did it.
Sooyoung was with Jessica all along, watching her from afar.
She never once left Jessica's side.

"Hunting?"

"I've to feed, dont you remember?" asked Sooyoung, shooting Jessica a hurt look.

"Oh, i've actually forgotton about it" said Jessica with a soft sigh.
"Sorry" muttered Jessica.

"Well, so now we've got our angel princess here"
"And who upset-ed her?" asked Sooyoung casuaslly as she leaned back onto the bench.

"Arent you afraid of me..?"
"Im an angel, im supposed to hunt you down"
"Even though you're a mixed"

Sooyoung chuckled.

"Whats there for me to be afraid of?"
"You're my honeystar and i have nothing to lose"
"Even if im dead"
"Plus, if im dead, you'll have no one to look out for you"
"I mean one person lesser?"

Jessica smiled.
Her smile was thankful.

"Thanks Mutt"
"Dont worry, i'll protect you too"
"I wont let my kind harm you"
"Really"

"Its okay, im glad to have heard things like that"
"Its more than enough for me already"
"Gonna share with me about what broke your heart?"
"I heard heartshattering sounds when i was behind you" teased Sooyoung with a smirk.

"Mutt, you're still the old you" said Jessica with a soft laugh.
"Well, i've just told Taeyeon and Yoona about my identity.."
"Oh right, how did you know about mine?"

"Told you im watching for you"
"Of course i know everything about you"
"If i dont, i wouldnt be called your guardian angel"

Jessica giggled.

"A self proclaimed one right?" replied Jessica mockingly.

"Well, whats the difference?"
"Isnt it the same that im still urs?"

Jessica sighed suddenly.

"Stop sighing honeystars"
"It wont make any difference"
"Do you want to talk about what happened?"

Although deep inside Sooyoung, she knew what had happened.
But she thought by letting Jessica saying it out on her own,
it would help her to feel better.

"..."

Sooyoung smiled slightly as she ruffled Jessica's hair lovingly.

"Come on, you'll feel better honeystars"
"You know im always here for you"
"Dont keep anything inside you"

At that point of time, Yuri was just right behind Sooyoung and Jessica.
She came out looking for Jessica, and saw Sooyoung sitting by the bench with her.
Frankly speaking, Yuri does have that sense of jealousy inside her when Sooyoung had the close skinship with her.
But Yuri was in no position to say anything because when she hurt her in the past,
Sooyoung was the one there for her.
Yuri cant possibly be that selfish to deprieve Jessica of her own circle of friends.

Jessica turned to Sooyoung, now her eyes filled with tears,
sadness, disappointment and hurt.

"Taeyeon.. and Yoona.."
"They had both became super wary of me.."
"They were afraid i'll bring them harm.."
"Mutt, i swear i'll protect them with everything i could.."
"Why couldnt they trust me..?" sobbed Jessica sadly as she leaned her head onto Sooyoung's shoulder.

Sooyoung's heart broke at the current Jessica.
Sobbing uncontrollably into her shoulders.

"I really, mutt"
"I really love all of them.."

"How about Yuri?"

"Yuri..?"
"She tried helping me but Taeyeon and Yoona refused to hear"

"Where is she now..?"
"You're so sad here, sobbing away"

Jessica then realised that she had forgotten about Yuri.
But didnt Yuri chase after her?

"I dont know.."
"I just went out of the room.."
"I couldnt take that atmosphere" sobbed Jessica with a shrug.

Sooyoung sighed silently as she carressed Jessica's back of her head.

"Nevermind, just take a deep breath"
"Stop crying and rest for awhile" comforted Sooyoung with a smile.

Sooyoung's words were always comforting to Jessica.
But Jessica had never told Yuri about it.
Afraid that Yuri might be jealous and be mad about it.

Hours later, Jessica fell asleep in Sooyoung's arms,
crying.
Her face were still wet with tears.
Gently carrying her up in bridal style, Sooyoung walked towards Yuri.
She knew all along that Yuri was behind them, she could sense it.

"Here, take care of her"
"She's so hurt tonight" said Sooyoung sadly as she passed Jessica onto Yuri's warm arms.

Yuri slowly got Jessica over and smiled to Sooyoung thankfully.

"Thanks"
"Thanks for being there for Jessica all the time"
"Im really thankful for it" whispered Yuri gratefully.

"You dont have to thank me"
"I wanted to do this for her"
"You know i love her"

Yuri's heart cringed at the words of her love rival.

"I know you do"

"So if you were to hurt her anymore"
"Bring tears to her eyes"
"I assure you, i'll be the first one to get her out of your sight"
"I'll make her happy all her life"
"I swear i'll do that" threatened Sooyoung bluntly with a little glare in her eyes.

Yuri nodded.

"I know.."

"You know yet you still made her tears fall"
"Do you think my threats were empty words?" asked Sooyoung bluntly with anger.
 
Yuri kept quiet.

"She trusted you"
"She trusted you so so much"
"She may appear like so understanding and everything but she is definitely a baby to me"
"A baby for me to love, care and protect"
"And mind you, this will be the last time im handling her over to you so nicely"
"If it happens again, i assure you that you will either have to search for her or fight over her for me" said Sooyoung as she turned to walk away coolly.

Yuri sighed softly as she watched the latter's peaceful sleeping face.
To be honest, Sooyoung's words were actually true.
Jessica appeared to be hard and strong but in fact,
she is really a baby inside.
Soft, fragile and yearns for parental love.

"Sweetheart.."
"Im sorry for what had happened today.."
"I love you.." whispered Yuri as she pecked on Jessica's forehead before bringing her back to her castle.

"Why are you so protective of me over Jessi, Taetae?" asked Tiffany curiously as she played with Taeyeon's hair while the two were lying on the bed, in each other's arms.

Taeyeon scowled.

"She's dangerous" replied Taeyeon bluntly.

"Why?"
"She's just an angel, isnt she?"
"Angels are great people!"

"Great people?" mocked Taeyeon as she rolled her eyes in disbelief.
"You call people who comes after us with blades as great people?"
"Baby dolls, you are too naive, arent you?"

Tiffany pouted.

"Im your baby dolls, aint i?"
"Then im a baby of course im naive!" defended Tiffany with puppy eyes.

Taeyeon chuckled slightly as she kissed Tiffany on her lips.

"I know"

"But Taetae.."

"Mmm..?"

"Can you, for once believed that she's good?" asked Tiffany timidly.
"I believe Jessi, she's my best friends"
"I believe her words, promise and everything"

Taeyeon frowned as her expression turned serious.

"Baby dolls, listen to me alright?"
"I cant believe in angels because i believed that they were nice people till i was almost killed by them one day.."

Tiffany gasped.

"But.."

Taeyeon sighed.

"I dont want to talk about it anymore.." muttered Taeyeon as she stood up from the bed and started walking away from Tiffany,
with a frustrated backview, shaking her head away.

Walking towards the balcony of the great hall,
Taeyeon put her hands over the railing of the balcony,
enjoying the soft breeze thats blowing towards her.
Tears slowly trickled down her face.

"Jessica.."
"Im sorry for my actions just now.."
"I didnt mean to hurt you.."
"I just couldnt walk out of my shadow.."
"And you, mushroom hwang" called Taeyeon softly as she glanced up into the purplish sky.
"How are you doing up there?"
"Im sorry.."
"Sorry for my benevolent that made you lost your life.."
"Im sorry for my gullibleness that made you lost your life.."
"Im sorry for everything.."

On the other hand, Tiffany was quietly standing behind the pillar,
overhearing every single words that came out of Taeyeon's mouth.
Her heart hurts, a lot.
Tears fell off her eyes, down her cheeks subconsciously.

Tiffany's POV

Taetae, did you know how much these words could hurt me..?
I doubt you know right..?
You're my first love Taetae..
Im sorry not being able to be replaced by your first love..

I know shouldnt have eavesdropped your thoughts..
But i couldnt help..
I felt so insecure with you as time goes by..
Taetae, why are you doing this to yourself and me..?
Isnt it enough to have me..?

Seeing you hurt,
makes me hurt like infinity times more than what you're experiencing now..

End of Tiffany's POV

Lying beside the one she loved,
watching her sleep peacefully, Yuri smiled.
Carressing her cheeks, Yuri cheekily whispered into her ears.

"Sweetheart, i love you.."

Jessica's eyes slowly fluttered opened.

"I love you too" smiled Jessica in return,
throwing Yuri a surprise kiss.

"Im sorry for what happened earlier sweetheart"
"I've talked to Taeyeon and Yoona about it"
"They've decided to accept you"
"But.."

Jessica raised her eyebrows.

"But..?"

"Its for now only.."
"If nothing happens to us, Taeyeon will be fine"
"While Yoona is just following Taeyeon" said Yuri as she brushed Jessica's fringe off.

Jessica's expression dropped.

"Im sorry sweetheart"
"I'll try harder.."
"Please give me some time.."

"Its okay Yul"
"You've tried hard enough"
"Anyway, why am i here..?"
"I thought i was with.." said Jessica with a sigh.
"Nevermind"

Yuri frowned.

"You were with Sooyoung" said Yuri bluntly.

Jessica's eyes widened.

"She handed you to me" replied Yuri flatly,
clearing showing her dissatisfaction although she knew she couldnt be that petty.

Jessica showed her a guilty look.

"Im sorry Yul"
"I didnt mean to look for that mutt"
"But it just so happens that whenever im feeling low"
"She would just appear infront of me.."
"I really dont have any feelings for her"
"Yul, you're my only love" said Jessica worriedly,
holding onto Yuri's hands.

"I know.."
"I cant tell you that i dont mind.."
"But i didnt mean to show you that dissatisfied look"

"Im sorry.."

There was a moment of awkward silence when Jessica's phone rang.
It was her parents.

"Sweetie"
"You have to come back now" said Mrs Jung panickly over the phone.

"Why?"
"Whats wrong?"

"Its an emergency"
"Come back now alone"
"Without Yuri if you dont want her to get hurt" whispered Mrs Jung softly.

Jessica could sense the insecurity in Mrs Jung's voice.

"Okay"

With that, Jessica tapped on her phone and ended the call.
Yuri watched her in curiousness.

"Whats wrong?"

"Ive to get home now Yul" said Jessica immediately,
grabbing onto her belongings.

"I'll send you back?" offered Yuri.

"Its okay, dont"
"I promised you to protect you"
"So dont, dont ever follow me Yul" warned Jessica immediately with a stern look.

"But why?"
"Did something bad happened back at home?"
"Im worried sweetheart"

Jessica gave her an assuringly smile.

"Dont worry, its not dangerous for me"
"But for you"
"I've got no idea whats going on back at home"
"I'll call you as soon as im done, alright?"
"So dont worry about me"
"Help me tell Taeyeon and Yoona im sorry" added Jessica before running off.

Yuri scratched the back of her head in confusion.
But nevertheless, mumbled three words softly.

"Be safe, sweetheart"

Hearing hurried footsteps entering the mansion,
and into the living room,
Mr and Mrs Jung's expression looked tense.
Infront of them,
were a few people who were dressed smartly.
They looked similar.

Taking a deep breath,
Jessica stepped into the room with a heavy heart.
As soon as she stepped in, everyone stood up from their seat.

The three men bowed respectfully to Jessica.
Mr and Mrs Jung just threw her an awkward smile.
Walking towards her parents, pushing them behind,
Jessica's cold expression aura came out.

"What do you want?" asked Jessica coldly.

"I came from the order of the King"
"They've found the latest whereabouts of the two bloodsuckers"
"The King wanted me to convey this message to you"

"And?"

"The two bloodsuckers are now located at a very isolated place"
"They are living in the forest at the end of the country"
"Deep inside the forest so that they couldnt be found easily"
"And they are planning something suspiciously" explained Siwon seriously.

"So?"

"The King and Queen said you promised them to help them out"
"So they wishes you to kill them" added Leeteuk bluntly.
"Princess Sooyeon, our realm is facing a serious threat right now"
"As a princess, you should help out''

Jessica rolled her eyes in annoyance.

"Did i said i wont?"
"Stop coming over to my house and harrass my parents"
"They are no longer into this piece of crap" said Jessica bluntly.
"I said i will help means i will"
"You can have my word"
"So if you are done with whatever you were supposed to convey"
"Get out of my house now"

"We're here to assist you, Princess Sooyeon"

"I dont need any of you at the moment"
"I'll look for you if i need any of you"
"For now, just get out" said Jessica coldly.

The 3 men looked dejected but nodded immediately and got out of the Jungs mansion.
As soon as they got out, Jessica quickly turned to her parents with a worried look.

"Are you hurt?" asked Jessica worriedly as she spinned her parents around.

"Dont worry sweetie"
"We're fine" smiled Mrs Jung as she hugged Jessica tightly.

"They wouldnt dare to hurt me"
"Would they?" joked Mr Jung playfully.

"I doubt they dare" replied Jessica with a sigh of relief.
"But did they threaten or anything?"

Mr and Mrs Jung chuckled as they shook their heads in unison.

"Good" said Jessica, relieved as she plopped back down onto the couch.
"I think i'll get this done and over with soon"
"I'll leave soon to get rid of the two"

"You sure you dont need any help sweetie?"

Jessica nodded with a smile.

"I just need you two to be safe"

Inside a dark cave, computers with the highest technologies were inside it.
Laptops, trackers, CCTV etc etc.

Right infront of these devices,
there stood two figures with portionate body figure.
The golden ratio.
Their hair were long, one in blonde while the other in red.

"Whats our plan now?" asked the one in blonde.

"Our revenge plan starts now"
"Dont we?"

The blonde chuckled as she scribbled something on the board.

"Whats the revenge plan?"
"Just kill them?"

The red chuckled mockingly.

"Oh please!"
"Does just killing them makes you feel satisfied after what you've went through?"
"Of course, before killing"
"We should have a game with them" said the red with a evil smirk.

"But, Hwangyoung"
"Isnt it a little too harsh?" asked the blonde.

"Why?"
"Dont tell me you still habour feelings for those two asses?"

"Its not like that Hwangyoung"
"Its just.."

"Listen Yeonjung"
"They dont know how much we've went through"
"They just claimed that they loved us and we just believed and went with it"
"What was the conclusion?"
"We died, didnt we?"
"The pain and tears we've brought to our familiar thanks to them?"
"I cant even visit my family now!" exasperated Hwangyoung angrily as she slammed the table into half.

Yeonjung just kept quiet as she focused on the whiteboard,
showing a two big words - REVENGE PLANS.

Yeonjung's POV

I mean..
My death werent fully Yuri's fault..
I was sick, werent i?

Its been far too long that i've exactly forgotten how much i've went through.
Whats the reason of me being here too..
What triggered my revenge button..

"You know Yeonjung" started Hwangyoung as she continuously typed on the keyboard,
with her eyes focused on the screens.
"I've found out that they werent that loyal afterall"

Hearing that, Yeonjung's interest picked up.

"I wonder if they really loved us"
"You look" said Hwangyoung, pointing to the screens.

Yeonjung's eyes widened in shock.
It was pictures of YulSic and TaeNy's sweet moments.

"This and this" added Hwangyoung pointing to the Jessica and TaeNy.
"Lets have a little fun with them"
"One of our first step to torture the two before killing them"

"Who are they?" asked Yeonjung curiously.

"They?"
"Jessica Jung Sooyeon"
"Daughter of the richest Jungs Corporation"
"Her grandfather owns the Seoul's University Hospital"
"And that, is Tiffany Hwang Miyoung"
"Daughter of the huge America-Korea owner of Hwang Holdings"
"Influential huh?" chuckled Hwangyoung mockingly.

Yeonjung nodded as she read the profiles of them seriously.
But something caught her eyes as she pointed to the screen.

"Angel..?"
 
Hwangyoung nodded with an evil smirk.

"Isnt it interesting?"
"But i think even fate is on our side"
"We could make use of this point and play with them even more"

Hwangyoung's POV

Taeyeon.. Taeyeon..
Its me, your Mushroom Hwang.
Missed me over the years?

Well, im coming back for you now.
For what you've done.
Im going to make you go through 10 times more than what i've went through before taking your life.

So..
Shall i pronounced the game starts now?

"Like how?"

"That?"
"Ive something in mind but i wont let you know till we're going to do it"
"Because im not too sure about your heart on this revenge too"
"I dont want anything to lead to the failure of this plan"
