"Yul~" whined Jessica cutely as she was lying against Yuri's chest.

Yuri chuckled at the dorkiness of her girlfriend.
Jessica rolled her eyes and paused for a short moment.

"If we cant go out and hunt lycans down"

"To think back, i've never been on a date with you"

"I dont know whats inside that brain of yours sweetheart"
"I cant believe anyone would wanna go hunt lycans down!" exasperated Yuri with a giggle.

"Alright then!"

"Skiing!" replied Yuri excited as she sped off as soon as she replied Jessica.

"Skiing?!"
"I've never skii-ed, Yul!"

"Thats why im here, right?"

"I think im gonna be a laughing stock myself!" protested Jessica with a pout.

Yuri chuckled.

"Hey dont worry about it alright?"
"I'll pick you up when you fall"
"But of course, i wouldnt let you fall so easily" said Yuri with a wink.

Jessica immediately slapped Yuri on her arms.

"YAH!"
"Concentrate on driving!"
"I dont want to die in an accident!"
"It will be soooo irony for an angel to die in an accident!"

Yuri laughed.

"Come on, you dont trust your girlfriend's driving skills?"
"Im so hurt now"

"If i dont trust you, i wouldnt be sitting here!"
"Yul, why dont you let me hunt lycans down?!"
"Im no longer the human you've seen me as!"

Yuri sighed as she changed the gear of her car.

"Look sweetheart"
"I just dont want to take my chances and risk anything"

Yuri stopped the car suddenly.

Jessica broke down into huge laughters.
Jessica shove the cucumber into Yuri's face and laughed.

"Come on, dont tell me you're jealous over our mini Yul?"

"Well, i cant help it, can i?" said Yuri, pretending to be mad at Jessica.

"Awww~"

"I was just testing you!" teased Yuri as she sped off again.

Within an hour, they had arrived at the skiing resort.
Well, of course, thanks to Yuri's driving skills and speed,
they had arrived within an hour.
If not, it might take 2-3hours of drive.

While walking up to rent the skiing equipment, Jessica turned to Yuri.
Yuri threw her a curious expression.

"Yul, can we meet TaeNy and YoonSun later?"
"Like for dinner?"
"I want to tell them about my identity"

Yuri paused and frowned.

"You sure sweetheart?"
"I dont know how are they going to react"

"I cant keep it from them too, right?"
"They are gonna shout and scream at me if im going to do that"

Jessica smiled and tightened her grip with Yuri's hands.

"For now, its has yet to happen"
"Lets be positive and enjoy our date for now"

Yuri sighed softly and nodded her head as she headed to the counter to rent the skii boots and skii for the both of them.
Returning in 15 minutes, Yuri knelt down infront of Jessica,
placing the boots and skii infront of Jessica.

"Here sweetheart"
"Put your feet in" instructed Yuri as she helped Jessica put on her boots.
"Is it tight enough?" asked Yuri concernly.

Jessica tried moving around her feet with the newly attached gadget on her feet.

"Nope, it doesnt feel lose"
"Should be tight enough" replied Jessica with a sweet smile.

Yuri smiled as she got up.

"Right, now wait for me sweetheart"
"I'll be done in a jiffy" said Yuri as she quickly put on her boots.

Within a minute, Yuri was done with her own boots.
She stood up, hands stretched out to Jessica.

"Sweetheart, are you ready for some fun?" asked Yuri with a playful wink.

"Of course i am!" replied Jessica readily as she jumped up from her seat.
"Lets go!"

"Sweetheart,  come on"
"Put on your skii" said Yuri as she placed the skii infront of Jessica.

Jesisca stepped onto it and Yuri locked the skii onto Jessica's boots immediately.
Right after that, Yuri put hers on and lead Jessica into the skiing area.

"Yul, hold me tight!!" squeaked Jessica.
"Im sliding!!!"

Yuri laughed at Jessica's silliness.

"Of coures you'll slide sweetheart"
"Relax!"
"I'll catch you!"
"If not, you'll fall on me okay?" smiled Yuri assuringly.

Jessica nodded as her eyes focused on her feets.

"Sweetheart"
"Now, bend your knees so your shins rest on the front of the boots and also lean forward slightly"

Jessica did as she was told.

"Right, now try moving on your own sweetheart"
"Wriggle wriggle" teased Yuri playfully at Jessica.

She was enjoying Jessica's nervousness,
her expression was really priceless to Yuri.
Jessica started to move, slowly.
Minutes later, Jessica seemed to have grasped the gist of skiing.

"Wow sweetheart"
"You're doing well" complimented Yuri in awe.
"This is the first time i've seen such a fast learner!"

Jessica smiled as she broke her focus and turned to Yuri.

"Of course im fa-"
"AHHHH!!!!" screamed Jessica as she lost her balance suddenly.

Before she landed onto the cold hard ground,
something warm was below her.

"Yul?" called Jessica with an awkward smile as she turned to Yuri.

Jessica's beanie dropped off.

"I told you, i wont let you fall onto the cold hard ground right?" smiled Yuri as she helped Jessica up.

Putting the beanie back over Jessica's head,
Yuri gave a peak on Jessica's forehead.

"Becareful sweetheart"
"Lets try again, shall we?"

Jessica nodded and smiled sweetly.
Their skiing lesson went on for hours,
till Jessica started to whine and pout.

"I want food!"
"Yul food!" pouted Jessica as she sat down onthe cold hard ground,
arms crossed.

"Stop that!" giggled Yuri as she watched Jessica pout so cutely on the ground.
"We'll go and grab something"

Yuri sighed as she walked over and carried Jessica up.

Yuri came back minutes later after settling Jessica at the fast food restaurant at the skii resort.
Placing the tray down infront of Jessica,
Yuri noticed that Jessica was in deep thoughts.
Waving her hands infront of Jessica's blank expression,
Yuri received no response.

"Sweetheart?" called Yuri as she gave her a light nudge.

"Oh you're back?" replied Jessica as she gave Yuri a smile.

"Yup, i've bought you food"
"Look" said Yuri pointing to the tray of food.

"Thanks Yul!" replied Jessica happily as she immediately unwrapped the burger and took a bite from it.

"What were you thinking about so hard just now?" asked Yuri casually as she unwrapped her burger.

"Me?"

Jessica's POV

"Soo Yeonjung & Mi Hwangyoung" said the King.

One of the name, it certainly rings a bell.
But i really cant remember where have i heard it..
Wait..

"Whats the reason that made you shun yourself away from humans decades ago?"

"You know, we live like there's no end"
"Have you ever experience the pain of losing someone you loved deeply?"
"Watching that person die and you couldnt do anything about it?" asked Yuri sadly.

The sadness within her voice, was indeed real.
A drop of tear fell of Yuri's eyes as she recalled what happened decades ago.

"Decades ago, i met this human"
"She was really pretty, kind, perfect and sweet"
"We were in love.."
"Like really in love but i didnt tell my parents because they objected to over love"
"They always thought that the love between human and immortal will never work"
"Because we will witness our loved ones departing while we couldnt do anything about it.."

"You'll be in danger if you were to go there alone" said Yuri flatly, shaking her head in disagreement.

"Hey i promise i wont go and look for them"

Jessica pouted.

"Just a little information?"

Jessica sighed as she put down her burger.

"Its fine, i think we'll get going now"

Yuri looked sad and disappointed as she held onto Jessica's wrist,
turning her around.

"I dont want and i cant imagine anything coming to hurt you"
"Bloodsuckers are really not someone you wanna be trifled with" explained Yuri sadly.

"I cant lose you too, remember?" reasoned Jessica with a sad expression.

"Im sorry for my abrupt question Yul.."

Yuri sighed as she pulled Jessica into a hug.

"I know you're an angel now"

Jessica looked up to Yuri.
There is this question that is burning inside her.

"But if you're going to get mad at me"

Strolling by the garden of the Kims Castle,
Tiffany and Taeyeon had their hands interlocked with one another.
They were enjoying each other's presence in silence.

Settling down at the fountain,
just like the very first day Tiffany was being brought to the castle.

Tiffany thought for awhile a nodded with a smile.

standing in an isolated place of the castle,
staring through the sky.

But this time round,
i've hid behind the pillars and overheard you talking to yourself.

"How are you up there..?" whispered Taeyeon softly.

I could still hear her whisper.
I could practically hear almost everything after Taeyeon's transformation.

"It been years, havent it?"

My heart literally broke that day when i overheard the conversation.

Tiffany forced a smile.

Taeyeon smiled as she pulled Tiffany into a hug.

"Dont make promises so fast"

Although the last sentence was sort of a like,
but Tiffany was glad to the extend that at least,
Taeyeon accepted another love,
which is her.

Taeyeon smiled.

"Lets go then!"

YulSic was already at the restaurant together with YoonSun.
Just as TaeNy stepped into the restaurant,
they were led into a private room by the waiter over at the counter who were expecting TaeNy.

Entering the private room,
TaeNy took their seats immediately.

"Wow, what a spread!" exclaimed Tiffany excitedly as she saw the table full of delicacies.

Everyone was silent, but only Tiffany was excited.
A few moments later, Tiffany realised the weird atmosphere and settled down.

"Whats wrong?" asked Tiffany.

Sunny turned her head to Jessica.
Jessica threw her an awkward smile.

"I have something to confess to you girls" said Jessica bluntly.

"Okay..?" replied Tiffany with a weird expression.

"Im an angel" confessed Jessica with a worried expression.

Taeyeon's mouth literally dropped open while Yoona gasped in shock.
Tiffany and Sunny watched each other in a confused expression.
Seconds later, Taeyeon backed off from her seat,
together with Yoona.

"Tae and Yoon"
"Its not like what you think" started Yuri worriedly.

"Yul, dont"
"She's no longer the Jessica we've met"
"Is she?" said Taeyeon cautiously.

Taeyeon had met and fought with angels before.
They were nothing but a bunch of strong, powerful immortals.
Even if Taeyeon were the royalty, she couldnt hold off much against them.

"I cant believe it Yul unnie"
"How could..?"

"Taetae, what is going on here?" asked Tiffany with a lost expression.

Taeyeon immediately pulled Tiffany behind her.
Jessica's expression dropped.
She looked hurt.

"Im sorry Taeyeon"
"It wasnt what i've wanted too.."
"I couldnt choose.."
"Or maybe i did.."
"I was too selfish, i didnt think of your point of view at that point of time when i was accepting my fate"
"I just wanted to get rid of my cancer, Taeyeon"
"I promise i wont hurt you" said Jessica sadly.

"You wont hurt us"
"But the kind of yours, around you will" said Yoona flatly as she too,
pulled Sunny behind her.

"I'll protect you girls"
"I wont let anything come to harm you girls"
"I promise"

"Yoona, Jessica's promise can be trusted" said Sunny with a sad expression.
"She keeps her promised all the time"

"Yeah, Taetae"
"Jessica's a person of her words"
"Trust her please?"
"I've been with her for 12, nearing 13 years" added Tiffany with puppy eyes.

Taeyeon and Yoona paused, thought for a long time.
Yuri looked at them with a pair of hopeful eyes.

Jessica's POV

Im sorry for who i am,
Taeyeoon and Yoona.

I didnt mean to make you feel so wary of me.

Giving Yuri's hands a light squeeze, Jessica sighed softly as she got up from her seat and left the room,
leaving the 5 in the room in an awkward silence.

Just as Jessica was about to close the door behind her,
she whispered under her breath but made sure the 5 immortals inside could hear her.

"I promise, i'll keep you all safe"
"Because you all mean the most to me"
