Chapter 3

This man.. why does he keep on smiling?

Why does he smile when deep inside he is crying?

"Hey". I interrupted. "Don't you grieve of living longer?"

Jaejoong smiled at me.

"My mother told me that I don't have as much time as other people do". Jaejoong explained. "That's why I should smile more. It's a waste If I use that time to cry".

"W-what?"

"So I'm going to cram all the fun things. I'm going to cram them into every single day I have". He said with a huge smile.

Jaejoong approached me and held my hands.

I was shocked. "H-human...what are you--"

Jaejoong then embraced me. I tried to struggle but somehow my entire body has became weak.

"You know, even if you're a Shinigami....You'll always be my friend".

He then slowly took a few steps away. He looked at me and smiled.

"You're my first friend!". He giggled. "My first friend is a Shinigami! hehehehe....".

How come he can smile like that at a death God?

Smile...at someone like me?

I smiled a little. "Whatever"

"Ya! What do you mean by that?!". Jaejoong poutted his lips and flicked my forehead.

"Whahh! Why did you do that?" I asked as I caress my reddened forehead. "How can you hit a Shinigami?!".

"Hehehehehe..". Jaejoong again giggled.

"What's so funny?". I asked in confusion.

He starred at me with that weird looking smile on his face.

"W-what?". I asked, trying not to get an eye contact with him. "Just say it and don't smile like that...it's creepy"

"You smiled"

"....."

"Hey, Yunho"

"W-what?"

"Don't cry when I die, okay?"

"...."

I was frozen. What does he mean by that?

Why would I cry for him?

Why would I cry for a Human?

"Uhmm..Jaejoong". Changmin pulled Jaejoong's shirt. "Don't worry Death God doesn't cry".

"Eh? How strange!".

This is bad...

I've got to hurry up...

Before it's too late.

"Yunho...you're starting to forget it, don't you?". Changmin asked me. "Our mission".

"I don't.". I told Changmin.

"You've got to hurry and take his soul, okay?".

"Y-yeah..."

Now's the time....

while he's asleep I will kiss him.

Because when he's awake, he's smile is on the way.

That Night, Changmin and I flyed to the Hospital.

We sneaked inside Jaejoong's room when suddenly...

"Ya! He's gone again?!!". Changmin cried. "Did he sleepwalk or something?!".

Did something happened to him? Where did he go in the middle of  a night like this?!

I clenched my fist.

What if something bad happened to him?!

I can't take it anymore.. I MUST FIND HIM!

I hurriedly floated myself out of the room and rushed outside

"Yunho!". Changmin shouted. "Where are you going?! YUNHO!!!"..

Wait for me Jaejoong....I'm Coming!
