Next day, the kids are watching tv while Laiza is cooking for their lunch. Suddenly, Bada came to her and asked.

 

Bada: umma, can we go to Appa? I miss him.

Lai: he's busy today. We don't want to disturb him.

Bada: ohh. *pouting* can we call him on the phone?

Lai: yes.

Soo: oppa, Appa is at the tv!

 

They went to the living room and watched the performance of their Appa.

 

Soo: umma, Appa is so good in dancing.

Lai: but you know, we were young, he never danced like that before.

Bada: he can't dance?

Lai: yes. I taught him how to dance. Do you know what dance is?

Kids: El Bimbo?

Lai: yes.

 

Suddenly, the kids danced the steps in El Bimbo. Laiza is so happy to them. But something's wrong happened to her. She got dizzy and got fainted. The kids saw her fell on the floor, unconsciously fell. They ran to her and tried to wake up her.

 

Soo: *sobbing* umma!! Wake up!

Bada: i'll call the hospital. Wait.

Soo: call Appa. 

 

Later, at the hospital, Donghae and Eunhyuk ran to the emergency room and saw his kids crying while looking at their umma.

 

Hae: my kids.

Kids: Appa! *hugging him*

Hyuk: kids? Appa?

Hae: what happened?

Bada: I don't know. We saw umma fainted.

Hae: *wiping their tears* don't cry. I'm here now.

 

Eunhyuk got curious while looking at them. So he asked Donghae.

 

Hyuk: who are they?

Hae: ahmm. My kids.

Hyuk: your kids? Who's the mother?

Hae: Laiza.

Hyuk: is she here? Why are you not telling to us?

Hae: I want to protect them. You know what happened last time.

Hyuk: but why do you have kids?

Hae: we did happen. It's just 5 years ago. I met them last week and surprised that their mother is Laiza.

 

Suddenly, Bada approached Eunhyuk.

 

Bada: who are you? Are you appa's friend?

Hyuk: ahm. Yes.

Soo: I'm Lee Soohae. And this is my twin brother Lee Bada.

Hyuk: I'm Eunhyuk.

Bada: Soohae, I watched him dancing with Appa.

Soo: yeah.

Hyuk: they are so kind. You have to tell to Leeteuk.

Hae: I need time for this.

 

The doctor came to them and asked.

 

Doc: who is the relative of this patient?

Hae: I am.

Doc: I need to talk with you. Importantly.

Hae: ahm. Ok. *looking to Eunhyuk* hey! Take care of them. I'll be back.

Hyuk: okay.

 

When Donghae is leaving, the kids are asking to Eunhyuk.

 

Bada: I saw you kissing appa's shoulder.

Soo: do you love Appa?

Hyuk: ahmm..

 

Meanwhile, the doctor told to Donghae about the results.

 

Doc: we need more observations to her.

Hae: why? Is she really sick?

Doc: we really don't know. I'll tell you the exact result but today, she's better now. I'll be back later.

Hae: thank you.

 

When the doctor left, Donghae came closer to her and hold her hand.

 

Hae: I hope you're fine. Really fine.

 

Suddenly, the kids went to him and hugged him.

 

Hae: why are you here?

Hyuk: ahm. 

Bada: we want to see umma.

Hae: but she needs rest.

Soo: appa's right, oppa.

Bada: *pouting*

Hae: do you want to go to the playground?

Soo: really?

Hae: Eunhyuk.

Hyuk: okay.

Bada: can we go now?

Hyuk: okay. I'll come with you.

 

When the kids running at the hallway.

 

Hae: I take care for her.

Hyuk: okay.

 

Eunhyuk left him. After 4 hours of examine her, the doctor came back and talked seriously to Donghae.

 

Hae: is there something wrong?

Doc: she have Leukemia; cancer of the blood.

Hae: what?! Cancer?

Doc: we did everything. We rerun the tests but it shows that she have cancer cells in her blood.

Hae: are you serious? You're joking right.

Doc: I know it's hard to accept for her but we can't do anything.

Hae: is there any treatment? Please. I want to spend time with her. I love her. I don't want to lose her.

Doc: chemotherapy is recommend but there are disadvantages that the treatment healed the patient.

Hae: do it to her. Please.

Doc: okay. I'll call the nurse to assist you. May I excuse.

 

The doctor left him. Donghae came closer to her, started crying.

 

Hae's POV:

Why? Why did this happen to you? Did God doesn't want you to spend time with me? I don't want to lose you. I don't know what to do if you're gone.

 

He hugged her tightly with tears on his face.
