You're Friends With Who??

Lucky Me

Hiya! Just a small introduction before I tell you what's goin' down. So, my name's Ann Lu and I'm 20 years old. I was born in the United States, but my dad is Korean & my mom is Chinese. Anyway, my dad has a really good job as a CEO of some big music company in America and my mom is a stylist. It just so happens that, due to my father's job, he has become friends with about all the famous people you could think of. And one of his best friends is Rain himself. You know, the really hot one from South Korea. I knew they were good friends, but I never knew what they always talked about on the phone. I soon found out that it was me they were talking about. Me. About how great of a dancer I was and how it would be wonderful if Rain could train me. This is probably the only moment in my life where I am truly glad that my father was here. Rain ended up asking my father if he would allow me to move in with him in South Korea so he could train me. He even said that he would hire me as a back-up dancer and if I was really good, he would put me in a group. OMG! NO WAY! I have to be the luckiest girl alive right now! I get to live with Rain AND dance with him. I think I'm hyperventilating. Okie. Back to present time. -WHOOSH-

"Ann! Are you finished packing yet? Your plane leaves in 2 hours! Hurry it up!" My mom was screaming at me from downstairs. "One sec mom!" I finished applying my black eyeliner and shuffled down the stairs with my bags. My parents were standing in front of the door, tears in their eyes. "Dad, be a  man and it up." They both looked at each other. I knew that look. They both ran over and hugged the crap out of me. I pushed them away and walked out the door smiling. My dad got in the car with me. He patted my leg and smiled at me. "I'm so proud of you." I rolled my eyes at him. "Okay dad. Enough mushy stuff and let's hit the road." As we drove away my mom waved at us, handkerchief in her hand, like in one of those dramatic movies. It made me laugh, but feel sad at the same time. I won't see my parents for a long, long time.

We pulled into the airport parking lot and I noticed how many people were actually there. "Dad, we're rich. Why couldn't you fly me over there with your jet?" He looked at me and gave the goofiest grin I've ever seen. "Trust me. If you're living with Rain, you are going to be plenty spoiled. He's the biggest pushover I know." I looked at him like he was a flying donkey. "Rain? A pushover? With all those muscles? Are you crazy?" He just patted my head and gave me one of those looks that said 'You'll know when you see it'. We both got out of the car and I grabbed my bags from the trunk. My dad looked at me surprised. "You didn't pack much." I shrugged. "I don't see the point when I'll probably buy a ton of stuff there." He nodded and we continued, finally walking through the doors of the airport.

My dad hugged me for as long as he could without me missing my flight. As I turned to leave, he whispered in my ear. "Don't fall too hard." I looked at him confused and just nodded my head stupidly. I felt my heart race as I stepped onto the plane and took my seat. I looked around my area and noticed a few things. Such as, two crying babies, a few obnoxious little girls, and a fat old man next to me. This was gonna be one long plane ride.
