“Finally, I’m going to be free from all Seoul-vibes for a moment.” Seohyun said while she rested her head on the back of the car seat.

“You just got back from hiatus and you have too many offers.” Her manager said while scanning the list of project offered to Seohyun.

“It’s alright as long as you disapprove anything with ‘Oh Sehun’ on them. Mark them with gigantic ‘X’, please.” Seohyun replied making the driver chuckle.

Her manager shook her head, “That pretty boy really got into you, huh?”

“Got into me in the worst way.” Seohyun crossed her arms as she adjusted her sunglasses after.

“Oh, it seems that you’ll be working with that pretty manager again on some projects.” Her manager waited for her response but she failed. “No disapproval?”

“Well...” Seohyun cleared . “What were you saying again?” but her manager just shook her head. “Where are we heading to?”

“Jeju. A very good place for your comeback movie.”  The manager said as they reached the airport to Jeju. She opened the door for Seohyun who just then followed her.

Paparazzi were everywhere. The shutter sounds and flashes of lights were on all directions of the airport. Seohyun would just casually smile at them. It sent good vibes to her to be interacting with fans once again.

She was surprised when she almost bumped the back of her manager when she suddenly halted. “What?”

Her manager sheepishly smiled and said, “You might want to take another direction. Let’s go.”

“But we’re halfway there. Let’s go to the—“ Seohyun abruptly stopped when her manager stepped sideways and there was Sehun. “Nevermind. Let’s go.” She linked her arm with her manager’s.

“Oh, Seohyun-shi!” she stopped on her tracks. Just as she turned away from Sehun, here goes the latter. “Nice seeing you again!”

“He he he. It’s nice to see you too, Luhan-shi.” Seohyun bowed slightly.

And in one, two, three...

“Luhan-hyung!!!” That familiar, annoying voice. “We meet again...” his voice trailed off when he stepped beside Seohyun. “And you too.”

Seohyun glared at him under her sunglasses. “How unfortunate.” She said under her breath. But Sehun decided to just ignore her. It’s not like he’s going to lose anything.

“Luhan-hyung, so how’s it gonna go for our new film?” Sehun asked as he slung an arm around Luhan’s shoulder. They started walking but Seohyun heard it all.

She then looked at her manager. “Don’t tell me I’ll be working with them again?!” she said it too loudly that Sehun looked back at her.

“Oh, please. She won’t tell you. That’s not going to happen. My manager blacklisted your name on the list of my projects.” Sehun shouted, unaware that fans were around. Seohyun’s mouth fell agape.

“Very cool, Mr. Oh Sehun! What a joke!” Seohyun pretended to laugh at it as a joke because the fans were everywhere. “I really hope to get working with you again!” she pretended to give Sehun a friendly wave then she smiled at her fans.

“Good job, Seohyun-ah. Nice save.” Her manager whispered to her.

“What Sehun said was supposed to be my line.” She answered back. “What sorcery is this?” She pouted as she realized she’ll be riding the same plane with Sehun.

The airplane ride was quiet and peaceful. Seohyun just fell asleep while Sehun just busied himself with some random iPad games. Luhan, on the otherhand, was just listening to some music. The three were practically lost in their own worlds.

When they got off the plane, Luhan continued starting casual conversations with Seohyun. With Sehun walking just behind them, he decided to interrupt.

''I'm afraid  you two must have to stop flirting with each other now because we need to get to work now.''  Sehun said making a space between Luhan and Seohyun.

''Watch your words, Sehun-ah.'' Luhan said and sheepishly smiled back at Sehun.

''We werre just talking in a friendly manner. Where did 'flirting' come from?!'' Seohyun furrowed her eyebrows at Sehun.

''All arguments are invalid. Just go on your way and stop suffocating me with the same air you breathe.'' Sehun said as the three of them continued walking to the same directions. Their assistants were just shaking their heads behind them in disappointment with their artists.

''Oh, it's my pleasure to pollute the air you breathe.'' Seohyun mocked back.

Sehun inched closer to her and whispered to her ear, ''Should I make you stop breathing then?''

Seohyun's eyes widened, she paused from walking. Indeed, Sehun's voice sent shivers down her spine. ''Y-yah! What the hell was that?!'' she faced Sehun and hit his arm.

''Well, did it work?'' Sehun smirked while rubbing his arm. Their managers were taken aback by their artists' sudden outbursts. Even Luhan was shocked.

''Sehun, just step back and let's leave.'' His manager said.

''Seohyun, come on. Let's go the other way.'' Her manager approached her.

''Not until he backs away first.'' Seohyun crossed her arms while tapping her foot on the floor. Sehun stood firmly.

''Not until she admits that I took her breath away.'' Sehun smirked and Seohyun's jaw dropped.

''Y-yah-!!!''

''Seohyun-shi, we will leave now.'' Luhan had to in. ''We'll be heading downtown to Hyatt Regency Hotel. Maybe you could visit us there one of these days.'' Luhan pulled Sehun to his side to back him off.

“Hyatt Regency Hotel?'' Seohyun asked.

''Don't tell me you'll really visit. He was saying it just to be polite. And--'' Sehun was stopped by Seohyun herself.

''I won't.'' Seohyun then smirked at him. ''Because that's the same place we'll be staying in.'' She walked off first with her manager. Then she looked back at Sehun and shouted, ''Hey, Mr. King of Arrogance, maybe I was really meant to pollute the air you breathe in!'' Her manager then chuckled with her as they left.

Luhan chuckled and patted Sehun's back, ''That's cool.''

Sehun then asked his manager, ''Are you sure you rejected the projects for me with her name on them?''

Apparently, the filming site was just the same for Seohyun’s and Sehun’s movie. They were to film different movies but as fated or destined, they were to film at the same venue.

“No, but how come you did not confirm it with me in the first place?” Seohyun crossed her arms as she was talking with some of the movie producers and staffs at the lounge. She was known for being a calm and kind actress but this is the first time everybody saw her in such fire early in the morning.

“I’m sorry, Seohyun. It’s really my fault. I’m your manager, alright? I’m supposed to inform you—“

“No, no. It’s clearly our fault. We knew that you have certain unresolved issues with Mr. Shim, but the director casted both of you on with same movie.” One man said, his adjusted his spectacles after.

“Did you guys know I almost left the industry because of him?” Seohyun sat down in defeat. Tears almost escaping from her eyes. “And now you guys set me up on the same film with him... I’m not mad, guys. I’m not.” she assured. “I’m just... sad, disappointed... and everything in between.” She sighed and looked down on her lap. Her manager sat on the couch beside her and patted her shoulder.

“Shim Changmin-shi arrived.” One of the runners came panting.

The staffs looked at each other before someone gave instructions, “Just lead him upstairs to his room. Tell him to rest for a while first. We’ll get to work in a few hours.” He clapped his hands to give more instructions. “You guys to and fix the set. Check the cameras too. Be sure the filming site is cleaned and fixed in an hour.” The staffs vanished after a few minutes.

“Don’t worry, she’ll be fine.” Seohyun’s manager assured the head producer. “I’ll take care of it.” She then nudged at him to leave.

“Going here was stupid.” Seohyun sadly said.

“I’m sorryyy.”

“Nah, it’s not your fault. I don’t blame anyone, if there’s someone accounted for this, it should be me.” Seohyun managed to stand up, “I shouldn’t be affected. I should be fine.”

“Where are you going?” her manager stood up too.

“I’m going to take a bath and prepare. I’ll call you when to bring the stylists to my room, okay?” Seohyun said. As she headed towards the stairs, since the floor assigned to them was just on the second level, Sehun blocked her path. “Oh, God. I’m not in the mood to argue with you this early in the morning.” She said in monotone.

“So what’s with you and Shim Changmin?” Sehun continued blocking her path. So he was listening to what happened earlier.

“Could you please let me pass?” Seohyun ignored his question.

“Not until you provide answers my curiosity.” Sehun towered over her. Seohyun irritatingly shoved him aside.

“It’s like Hara-situation to you.” Seohyun hissed before hearing someone call out for Sehun.

“Sehun-shi, Hara’s already waiting on the filming site. Please proceed.” A staff said before walking away. Seohyun was stopped when she felt Sehun’s grip on her arm.

They looked at each other with defeated gazes, “So I guess we’re not really working together then.”

“...which is a very good situation for you to stop breathing the same air as me.” Seohyun chuckled before shrugging Sehun’s hand off her arm. “You might want to throw a party for that.” Seohyun then proceeded upstairs.

Sehun sighed, “No, I’d rather throw my role away for this film.” He shook his head before making his way to where Hara was.

Apparently, Hara was a close friend to Seohyun and she happened to be the ex-girlfriend of Sehun. Though the first time that Seohyun met Sehun was during their commercial filming, she already heard about his whereabouts from Hara.

Their story happened to be tragic as well. Hara left Sehun for good. But in any angle of the story, Seohyun, of course, sided with Hara.

The filming started. One set was just meters away from the other set. Meaning—Seohyun and Sehun were still quite near each other.

“So who was that guy staring at you from a distance?” Seohyun almost jumped when Changmin stood behind her. She followed his gaze and caught Sehun looking at her from afar.

“Someone who’s probably a percent less stupid than you.” Seohyun answered and just walked towards her stylists, just to keep distance from Changmin. But the latter just followed her around.

“Was I stupid? I was just being real.” Changmin teased but Seohyun did not find it amusing.

“Yes. You were being real stupid.” Seohyun argued. She instructed her stylists that her hair and make-up’s fine now. They left her with the actor after. The others were busy fixing the setting.

“He’s still staring.” Changmin looked at Sehun again. “What if I actually put an arm around you like this?” Changmin suddenly slung an arm around Seohyun, trying to see what Sehun, from the other set, would do. But Sehun just looked away.

“Y-yah! What the hell—“

“Guys, let’s start the filming now!” The director called them. Seohyun glared at Changmin before stomping at his foot.

“Geez! What the--?!” Changmin gripped on his foot and walked limply.

The cameras rolled in.

 Both sets started filming separately.

Seohyun was actually playing the lead female but the story was a tragic one so she’d end up sick or something based from what she read. Changmin was a ‘playboy’ that would always result to hurting the innocent Seohyun’s feelings. During the set, Seohyun would consecutively catch Changmin with other girls but he neglects ending up his ties with her.

 However, Sehun’s role, on the other film, was the good boy who can’t be noticed by the popular girl played by Hara. In fact, Sehun was being bullied by Hara and her friends. The part that they would be filming was Sehun’s confession to Hara but she accepts him as a slave for months before she could accept him. Or just to make fun of him.

“Sir, do you need a break?” The assistant director of Luhan approached him. His set was not doing pretty well. “As I’ve noticed, you were too distracted.”

“No, no. I’m fine.” Luhan the glanced at the other set where the filming was going on and Seohyun were pulled into a tight embrace by Changmin.

“But our actor seemed to be distracted as well.”

“Nevermind, please tell the script writers to polish the lines. Tell the other crew to patch things up with the venue if they can leave the set this way.” Luhan stood up and put a hand over the other director’s shoulder, “Let’s resume filming tomorrow.” The latter just nodded and proceeded to give instructions.

Sehun sighed in relief. He was really uncomfortable working with Hara.

Luhan greeted the other filming set’s director. He permitted him to watch the shooting. Sehun followed Luhan. He walked around the set and watched Seohyun film with Changmin.

Sehun chuckled to himself when he noticed how disapproving Luhan looked at Seohyun and Changmin together. “Maybe you could try it this way.” Luhan suggested something to the director. The latter nodded in approval.

The same thing went on and on until Luhan acted like the director.

Changmin ran his hand through his hair, “Wait, are you trying to make me go over there rather than go here beside Seohyun-shi?”

Luhan nodded, “Well, what do you think director?” Luhan asked the ‘real’ director.

“Hmm. I agree with Luhan-shi.” The director said, Changmin’s eyes widened.

“WHAT?!”

“But after that, you’ll run after her. Pull her to an embrace and—“

“I get it. Kiss?” Changmin smirked at Luhan. The ‘real’ director nodded and clapped his hands as a cue to start filming again. Changmin whispered to Seohyun, “You got some guys out there checking on you.”

“Yah, go there now so we can finish this stupid scene.” Seohyun pushed Changmin lightly.

The scene started. Sehun crossed his arms and leaned on a post while watching Seohyun act. Indeed, it was better if they filmed it together. He just knew what Seohyun likes in acting based from their previous commercial film.

He felt a drop of water on his cheek and he wiped it. He looked up and noticed the weather wasn’t that good. It was hinting a heavy rain. He ignored it since it was just a droplet and brought his attention back to the filming.

As soon as he saw Changmin leaning on Seohyun for the ‘kiss’ he suggested...

That was the time when Sehun wished for the rain to pour.

Heavily.

And pull Seohyun away from that average looking actor.

And force her to run away from the set.

Until they lack air for breathing.

Until they start panting.

Even if they get soaked in the rain.

As long as he could be sure that the kiss wouldn’t happen.

However, it happened in a split of seconds. Changmin’s lips landed on Seohyun’s. “Cut!” The director said. “Okay, job well done guys.”

Everything was a blur. Luhan caught a glimpse of Sehun, he just nodded at him and waved ‘goodnight’. Sehun just stood there and blankly watched the staffs clean the venue and fix things. Seohyun was there, assisted by her stylists in brushing her hair to its normal state. She kept on wiping her lips with a tissue. But her stylists did not notice that she was wiping tears in between. But Sehun’s eyes were keen enough to see that.

He couldn’t explain his feelings.

“No, I’m fine. I can comb my hair in place now. Thanks, thanks.” Seohyun politely bowed at her stylists. They got the cue and left her alone. However, the drizzling began just as when her stylists left her.

The crews started running fast.

But Seohyun’s mood was too much to comprehend for her to notice her surroundings. She just slowly stretched her hands and continued wiping her lips. She pursed them and tears started streaming down her cheeks once again.

It hurts her that Changmin could just casually act that way. She must have accepted the fact that there’s nothing between her and Changmin now. But it hurts her more than that.

“Seohyun-shi! Come here!” Her manager started running towards her, carrying an umbrella with her. But Sehun blocked her path.

“I’ll take it here.” Sehun briefly said and ran towards Seohyun. The rain started pouring heavier and heavier.

Seohyun ran towards Sehun’s direction, covering her head with just her bare hand. At least, by the rain, her tears would seem invisible.

But she was surprised when she bumped into a hard chest and an arm pulled her closer. “Stupid. Crying in the rain?!” that lisp.

She wanted to shrug off his arm around her, but that’s when she noticed it was Sehun who was also holding an umbrella over them. Fighting and bickering under the rain would be useless. “I’m not.”

“Yeah, whatever.” Sehun said. “You’re still stupid.”

“YAH!” Seohyun finally pushed Sehun off her. “Wae? How was filming with your ex-girlfriend?”

“Girl, you shouldn’t bring that up.” Sehun casually answered and brought the umbrella over them again, closing the gap when Seohyun pushed him. Everyone left them outside, they did not know that the artists were still left under the rain as everyone panicked when the rain poured down.

“Well, you two were touchy-touchy earlier. I bet you’re having fun when you were filming—“

“So you were watching me when I was filming... cool.” Sehun mocked.

Seohyun avoided his gaze, “I was watching Hara. She’s my friend.”

“And you dared commenting that we were touchy-touchy.”

“You were watching me too!”

“I was?”

“I caught you, fool.”

“You looked at me, that’s why you saw me looking at you.” Sehun flicked her forehead. “Genius.”

The thunder suddenly roared making Seohyun almost jump.

“Whatever, I’m going inside the hotel. I need to wash off that actor’s touch on my skin.” Seohyun was about to leave Sehun stopped her. “What again?!”

Seohyun was surprised to see Sehun just behind her. “Do you like Luhan?”

“WHAT?! What are you asking...” Seohyun laughed awkwardly.

“I’ll take that as a yes.”

“No. Noooo. I only see him as a good friend!” Seohyun answered. Sehun anticipated for a longer explanation. “Well come on. He’s far better than you.”

Sehun just intently gazed at her. Seohyun noticed that they were alone outside now because of the rain. When she looked back at Sehun, his face was really close to hers.

“Look, I really need to go now. I need to wash off Changmin’s kiss.” Seohyun said but before she could take a step backward...

“Let me wash it off for you.” Sehun said. Before Seohyun could react, she felt Sehun’s lips crash into hers. She tried pushing Sehun away but she failed. His kisses were gentle and his lips were soft on hers. Not long after, Sehun pulled her even closer.

But both needed air to breathe in.

“Do you mind if I say something that might sound funny?” Sehun said. Seohyun couldn’t even find her voice to speak because of what just happened. “I was a fan of yours, to be honest. That’s the reason why I pursued being an actor. And damn it, when I debuted, you left the industry. Then the issues about you and Changmin popped up and girl, I was so mad about those issues.”

“And you started hating on me when filmed. Great.” Seohyun eyed him.

“Well, yeah. But seeing you with him, just now? I wanted to pull every strand of his hair...”

“well, I hope you did.” Seohyun said.

“I have the complete DVD sets of your TV Shows, dramas... name it. I was a big fan.” Sehun blushed upon his confession. “So you weren’t really a stranger to me.”

“What??? Oh, gosh.” Seohyun chuckled at the lame confession of her hoobae, “Jinjja?” She continued laughing.

“Hey, you two.” They were started to see their managers. “Inside. Now.” Seohyun’s manager said in a firm voice.

Sehun and Seohyun glanced at each other and held in their laughters. They were about to walk back inside the direction of the hotel when their managers blocked their paths. “On separate umbrellas.” Sehun’s manager handed him an umbrella. He took it and glanced back at Seohyun.

The next day, Seohyun was tying up her hair when arms trapped her in between the dresser and his body. “I have some good news.” She felt his breath on her ears.

“Sehun, just say it.” She turned around to face him after tying up her hair successfully.

“Guess.”

“Just say it!” Seohyun was being her impatient self once again.

“Mrs. Grumpy. Hmph! I will not say it.” Sehun pouted.

“Wait, how did you get in? I’m pretty sure I locked my doors.” Seohyun eyed him.

“Enough with that. Let’s stick with the good news.”

“Then go and tell me about it.” Seohyun said when Sehun suddenly pecked on her lips. “Y-yah! Just because—“

“You have to get used to that.” Sehun said as he walked around Seohyun’s room.

“You are not permitted to steal kisses from me.” Seohyun warned him.

“I do not permit Changmin-shi as well.” Sehun refuted. “Anyway, let’s get going. Filming will start in a few minutes.”

“Whatever. My filming will start in an hour.”

“Our filming will start in a few minutes.” Sehun emphasized.

“Wait... what?” Seohyun tilted her head. Sehun walked closer to her and kissed her deeply.  “Hey—no stealing kisses—!”

“That’s the first scene we’re going to film today, actually. Don’t you like practices?” Sehun winked at her. “Come on, you wouldn’t want the directors scolding at us for being late. This is going to be the biggest joint-movie ever.”
