Jessica’s POV

‘WHY AM I SO KIND THAT I VOLUNTEERED TO HELP YOU?!’ Sungyeol wailed as I waited outside the changing room.

‘Sungyeol hurry up! You are changing slower than a girl’ I replied.

Then the door opened.

He was dressed formally in a suit. Wow. He.. is.. handsome..

He walked to me and patted my head.

‘Close your mouth. I know I’m handsome’ he teased.

‘W-What?’ I asked back. Gosh, why am I stuttering?

‘Yaaa, Lee Sungyeol! I wasn’t drooling over you!’ I shouted.

‘Whatever’ he replied.

Sungyeol’s POV

Krystal was waiting outside the room.

She waved to us.

‘Who knew this jerk could actually look handsome?’ she said.

‘I know right. How can a selfish, proud and arrogant bimbo look like that’ Jessica agreed.

Then they laughed and gave each other a high-five.

‘You girls know that I can hear you, right?’ I asked.

‘Yes, anything wrong about that.. Boyfriend?’ Jessica asked.

I coughed at the last word: BOYFRIEND?

‘Just kidding. Let’s go in’ she said.

‘We’re having dessert’ Krystal whispered.

Jessica’s POV

There he is. Dad. With his eternal frown on his face.

I bowed in front of him.

‘Good evening Dad’ I greeted.

‘Sit’ he replied.

Then it was Sungyeol’s turn.

He bowed.

‘Good evening’ he greeted.

Dad was looking at Sungyeol sharply and that poor little thing is smiling uncomfortably.

‘Sit Lee Sungyeol’ Mom said.

He sat next to me.

‘I hope you don’t mind that we started eating earlier and are having our dessert now. It is a bit late’ Dad said.

‘Its fine sir’ Sungyeol replied.

‘Sungyeol is a steward’ Mom said.

‘Ohhh. A steward. I guess that’s how you met my daughter, through your job’ Dad concluded.

‘Yes sir’ Sungyeol replied.

‘He looks.. fine’ Dad commented, ‘How did you find my daughter at first?’

‘She was pretty’ he replied.

‘Her personality?’ Dad asked.

‘Childish’ he replied. I wanted to stomp on his foot.

Dad laughed.

‘I like you, Lee Sungyeol. I like honest people’ Dad said.

‘Honey, I don’t see why we should break those two up. Jessica is old enough to make her own decisions’ Dad told Mom.

‘But dear, the company.. the marriage..’ Mom protested.

‘No problem’ Dad interrupted.

‘Kyungsoo is in love with our dear Krystal. He said that Jessica is too old for him’ Dad replied.

‘What? I’m younger than him!’ I protested.

‘So you want Kyungsoo or Sungyeol?’ Dad asked.

‘Sungyeol’ I replied.

I looked at Krystal. But she instead of being in shock, she was actually smiling.

She saw my confused expression and mouthed ‘I like Kyungsoo’
