Yoona’s POV

 I am reminded of him again. Lee Minho.

Why are past loves so hard to forget?

I seem pathetic now, huh? I myself find myself like that: extremely pathetic.

I was about to go back to the crews’ quarters when Woohyun signalled to me.

‘Follow me’ he mouthed.

I nodded my head and went to him.

‘What is it?’ I asked.

‘You’ll see’ he replied with a smile.

We went to the ‘kitchen’. You know, where we prepare our meals and the passenger meals and the drinks.

He pulled out a box from the chiller.

‘For you’ he said.

I opened the box. There was a small cake, small enough to fit on your hand if you open it widely.

Chocolate- one of my favourites.

There was pink frosting with numerous heart shapes all over the cake.

Pretty!

Then he took out a candle.

He pretended to light the cake with an imaginary match stick. (We’re not allowed to bring them on board, in case of fire)

‘What’s this for?’ I asked.

‘It’s the 3^rd day that I got to know a wonderful woman like you. I want to celebrate’ he replied.

I could feel my cheeks turn a slight shade of red.

Then he started singing (Birthday song tune): ‘Happy Anniversary, Happy Anniversary, It’s the third day I knew Yoona, Happy Anniversary~’ and he clapped enthusiastically.

‘Blow the candle’ he said.

I laughed as I ‘blew’ the candle.

He clapped after I ‘blew’ it out.

‘Thank you Woohyun’ I said.

‘You liked it?’ he asked.

‘It’s a bit corny, but its fine. I liked it’ I replied. He let out a sigh.

‘I’m willing to wait for you Yoona. I’m gonna work hard and make you fall for me’ he said.

I remained silent.

‘Eat your cake!’ he chuckled before putting some of the frosting on my face.

‘Revenge’ I said as I put some on his nose.
