Like, Hate, Love
She threw the pillow at him then left the room. Myungsoo angrily scratched his head "What have i done?" He muttered
Jihyun was about to open the front door then Woohyun grabbed her arm "Where are you going?"
She turned around and hugged her oppa "Oppa" She sobbed
He sighed then softly caressed her hair "it's okay. Oppa is here for you. Stop crying" He placed a small kiss on the top of head "Stop crying"
He led Jihyun to his room and motioned Sunggyu to sleep with Myungsoo tonight.
Sunggyu came nearer to her and touched her cheek. "Don't cry, baby" then he left the room
"Hyunie, stop crying" Woohyun soothed her "He was just mad. It's okay. Stop crying"
She kept shooking her head "You don't understand".
He hugged her again.
Finally, she stoppped crying and felt asleep.
Woohyun put the blanket over her body then left to living room.
INFINITE were all there.
He glared at Myungsoo "Babo"
"Is she okay now, hyung?" Hoya concernedly asked. Woohyun nodded "She is sleeping. Hope she will be fine, or else..." He glared at Myungsoo "Someone will be 6 feet underground" He muttered, sending shiver down Myungsoo's spine
"Be honest, Myungsoo" Sunggyu started "Do you have anything for Jinhee now?"
Myungsoo sadly shook his head
"Then why you did this to Jihyun?" Woohyun hissed
"I DONT KNOW TOO, HYUNG" Myungsoo couldnt hold it anymore. "IT HURTS ME TOO. I DIDN'T KNOW WHY I DID IT. SO PLEASE, LET ME HAVE TIME TO THINK" He slammed the door and left the house. INFINITE were dumbfounded "Is it okay if we let him go out alone, hyung?" Sungyeol asked
Sunggyu nodded "Let him be"
Myungsoo just wandered around. He needed fresh air to clear his mind.
"Jihyun, what are you to me?" He mumbled
It was 4:00AM so nobody was there
He walked to the playground and sat down on the swing.
Night breeze blew, making his hair even more messy
"Jinhee, why do you have to come back to mess everything up?" He sighed
~FLASHBACK~
"Myung Myung" A tear rolled on her cheek
"WHAT HAPPENED?" He rushed to her, caressed her cheek "Do you hurt anywhere?"
Jinhee nodded her head "My heart hurts"
"Why? Did Moonso do bad things to you?"
"No" She shook her head "It's you"
"ME?" He widened hir eyes. She nodded again
"The one i love is you, not Moonsoo"
"WHAT?" He gulped "How could you?"
She kept looking down at the grass then wrapped her arm around his waist, rested her head on his chest
"I love you, i love you, i love you...." She kept mumbling
Myungsoo pushed her off "No, no. It can't be" He sadly shook his head "We can never be"
"Why?" She looked up at him "You love me and i love you. Why can't we?" She burst into tears
"Because..." He paused "My family is my everything. I can't lose my precious brother. Sorry Jinhee" He looked down.
She bit her lip then nodded "I understand" then she walked off. Myungsoo watched her go with sunken heart.
"Jinhee, why?" Moonsoo almost yelled "Why do you leave me?" He hugged her tightly, not wanting to let her go
"Sorry Moonsoo" She smiled sadly "I have to go. Please forget me and move on. I don't deserve your love"
"But i love you, i need you, i want you" He cried his heart out.
She didn't say anything
"I am leaving to the States tomorrow" She softly said
"WHAT?" Moonsoo looked into her eyes "Are you kidding me?"
She shook her head "We can't be, Moonsoo. So forget me. I'm so sorry" She bowed then left
~END FLASHBACK~
Myungsoo was deeply in thoughts then his phone rang, brought him back to reality. It was Sungyeol
"Hey, where are you?"
"Me?" He looked around "I'm at the playground"
"Hey, comeback here. It's late"
... "Is Jihyun still sleeping?" He asked
"Ah, yeah. Why?"
"Nothing. I'm just curious"
"Aish. go back now. You will be screwed if manager hyung finds out"
"I get it, i'll be back now" He said then hung up.
Myungsoo got home at around 5 in the morning. Everyone was sleeping. He sneakily entered Woohyun and Sunggyu's room to check on Jihyun.
He saw her sleeping soundly. Her eyes puffed a litter. He sat down and stuck a curl of hair behind her ear.
He softly caressed her cheek.
"I'm so sorry for hurting you" He whispered.
Myungsoo touched her kissable lips with his finger and secretly smiled
Suddenly he saw a tear rolling down her cheek "She's even crying in her dream" He blamed himself. He lowered his head and kissed her eyes.
"baby, i'm so sorry". Then he left to his room.
"Jihyun ah, wake up" Sungjong shook her shoulder slightly "It's time to go to school" He smiled when she opened her eyes
"Aw my head hurts" She touched her head. Sungjong helped her up "Go and wash yourself. Breakfast is ready" She nodded.
"Where is Myungsoo?" Hoya whispered to Sungyeol
"He left early this morning" Sungyeol simply answered.
Hoya nodded in understanding.
"Jihyun, you look pale" Sunggyu touched her forehead "No, you're not sick"
"I'm just tired" She smiled softly.
"Do you need to rest at home"
She shook her head "Then i'll be so bored"
"Then let's go" Woohyun took her bag for her.
They met Myungsoo at school. He was sitting at the bench, deeply in thought
"Myungsoo hyung" Sungjong called for nth times but seem like he didnt hear him
"MYUNGSOO" Hoya shouted. Myungsoo jerked a bit then turned to them. His eyes met Jihyun's. She quickly turned away.
She turned to INFINITE "I'll go first". She smile. Then she passed Myungsoo as if they were totally strangers. Myungsoo sighed
Days after that, they still didn't talk to each other. Jihyun didn't go anywhere, she stayed in her room, Woohyun's to be exact, the whole time.
Her face was getting pale because she didn't eat and sleep properly. It hurted Myungsoo.
Myungsoo was so gloomy these days. He was even more cold.
He didn't talk to anyone. When somebody asked him something, he would just nod or shake his head.
Jinhee approached him, "Myung Myung" she called smiling
Myungsoo looked up at her with scary eyes making her flinch
"Hmm i just want to ask if you were okay?" she smiled sheepishly "You looked so down these days"
He slightly nodded and turned his attention back to his phone
Jinhee bit her lips then left
"Hey!" Sunggyu whispered to Woohyun "We gotta do something to fix it"
"How?" Woohyun turned to look at him
"You know, let them have more time to explain to each other. Or let them meet more often, so that they will start talking to each other again"
Woohyun kept nodding his head "Sounds great"
"Hyung, pass me your phone"
"Ehh?" Sunggyu looked at him with his small eyes
"Just pass me" He laughed mischievously "We're luckly today. I forgot my phone at home"
"Hello?" Jihyun answered with sleepy voice
"Hey, it's Woohyun oppa" He smiled "Are you sleeping?"
"Hm no, why?"
"Ah, your voice is so sleepy so i thought you were sleeping"
"No"
"I forgot my phone at home but i need it now. Can you bring it to me, my cute sister?"
Jihyun hesitated at first but she finally agreed "Uhm okay"
Woohyun gave a hi-five to Sunggyu "Let's see"
10 minutes later, Jihyun arrived. She slightly bowed at them and handed Woohyun his phone.
Her eyes automatically found Myungsoo "He's so pale. Is he sick or something?" She thought
Myungsoo caught her eyes.
"Her eyes are puffy. Did she cry?" He thought
He looked sad. Jihyun immediately turned away. She bowed at them and ran outside
"Hey! Jihyun" Woohyun called
Myungsoo stood up and ran after her
"Good boy" Hoya chuckled
Jinhee looked at him with questioned eyes, but he just shrugged with i-dont-know-so-dont-expect-anything-from-me expression.
"Jihyun! Jihyun ah" Myungsoo called but she just quickened her pace.
He finally reached her. He held her shoulder then turned her around so that he could look into her eyes
"What's now?" She barked
They both panted
"Let go of me" She yanked but his grip was too tight. She finally gave up, glaring at him
"I'm so sorry" He whispered
She kept her look down.
He held her chin up
"Jihyun. I'm sorry"
"For what?" She blurted out
"For being so stupid, you know"
She looked up at him making him smiled sadly
He leaned in closer and placed a soft kiss on her lips
Her eyes widened. She pushed him off then touched her lips "What was that for?" Fortunately, it was dark so he couldn't see her blushed face
He pulled her into a hug
"Jihyun. I'm sorry. I..." He paused a bit, took a deep breath then continued "I... like you" He whispered.
"You what?" She wanted to pull him away but he didn't let her
"I don't know for sure. I need time to change this little crush into a deep love"
He caressed her back "Can you ... wait for me?" He whispered
Jihyun felt dizzy. She wrapped her arm around his waist.
"Can you?" He repeated.
Keeping nodding, she buried her face in his chest and took in his scent
"I miss you" She mumbled
"I miss you too" He kissed her cheek
She glared at him then pouted "YOU'RE SO BAD" she blurted out making Myungsoo jump in shock
"Ehh?"
"How could you say those cruel words? How could you? I thought you really meant it" This time she burst into tears. Myungsoo softened
"Okay. It's my fault. Don't cry" He smiled "I'm here for you" He kissed her crying eyes to soothe her. "I'll make it up for you" He whispered seductively
INFINITE smiled.
"Aw, my cute sister" Woohyun shook his head in happiness.
Jinhee tightened her grip "How could you, Myungsoo?" She thought
