“what are you doing here?” yoojin asked. “well, jonghun asked me to accompany you and yoomin. He said there are

some bad guys lurking at night” myungsoo replied looking at minhyuk with a smirk. Minhyuk fist balled. He is pissed

with his name alone more like in his presence. “I’m here already. I think his boyfriend can protect her. thank you very

much” minhyuk replied glaring at myungsoo. “hyung told me to stay here until he returns. So baby jinah, where’s

hyung’s room.?” myungsoo said smiling sweetly at yoojin. MInhyuk had enough. He step forward but yoojin held his

arms. “I’ll be on hyungs room. you don’t need to bid goodbye to me later.” Myungsoo teased. “oh, on second thought,

I don’t have an early meeting tomorrow, I think I’ll sleep over. I don’t trust my girlfriend with some stranger.” Minhyuk

said trying to annoy myungsoo. Myungsoo looked at him. Minhyuk pulled yoojin. “come on baby, let’s go to your room.

I want to protect you from someone.” Minhyuk said. Yoojin just shook her head. She can’t believe this is happening.

Myungsoo POV

Shoot! I can’t sleep knowing that guy is with yoojin in her room. sure yoomin is there but.. but… argh! Wrong timing

myungsoo wrong timing. He dialed his phone. “yoboseyo?” “hyung, minhyuk is here.” “sorry myungsoo I can’t do

anything about that. Yoojin is not my sister, I can’t control her.” “arasso! Goodnight. You’re gonna be home tomorrow

right?” “deh. Goodnight myungsoo. Stay calm.” “ara! Jalja!” I ruffled my hair in frustration. “otoke?” just like that my

phone buzz. “L, meet me tomorrow, same café. –Ji” I tossed my phone. Ji yeon is what I don’t need right now. The

phone buzzed again. “bring yoojin with you. ‘kay?” a smile crept in my face well, I could use ji yeon to get to yoojin. I

replied. “okay see you”.

It’s thurday, a day before ji yeon’s engagement. Yoomin is with minjee. She wanted to spend the whole afternoon with

him and promised yoojin to bring him back before dinner. That way yoojin got her free time to meet up with her

bestfriends. At the café, silence covered the table they are sitting on. “so, are you excited ji yeon?” yoojin asked. She

wants to break the ice.  Ji yeon stopped sipping her coffee, she looked at yoojin and smile. “of course I am. Finally I will

meet him.” Yoojin looked at her she can sense that jiyeon is far beyond happy. She knows her so well. Distance for a

couple of years will not break that bond.

“sorry guys I have to go, Yoomin will be looking for me.” Yoojin bid her goodbye. Actually she wanted to leave ji yeon

and myungsoo alone. Spending time with them feels so awkward since myungsoo is so distant towards ji yeon. “I’ll give

you a ride then.” Myungsoo offered. Ji yeon looked at myungsoo who is staring at yoojin. “ah, no, I will go to my boss’

sister’s office first. I will take a taxi.” Yoojin carefully decline eyeing ji yeon. She doesn’t want her to know the

confession made by myungsoo. “come on, it’s free you don’t need to spend so much for the fare. Be reasonable.”

“yeah baby jinah, L is right. Go with him. I’ll just call my driver. You two go ahead. I’ll be meeting eunjung eonnie. Take

care you two and don’t forget about tomorrow. L better go with yoojin and yoomin tomorrow. If jonghun oppa is

available bring him along too. Bye!” jiyeon waved at them and went walking towards the mall.

Inside the car, “hey jin-ah, why are you being so awkward all of a sudden?” myungsoo asked. Eventhough he knew the

reason, he brought it up just for the sake of conversation. The silence is killing him. “huh? Nothing, awkward? Who?

Me? Nah. I’m just tired. Uhm, just drop me off at minhyuk’s okay?” “waeyo?” yoojin looked at myungsoo hearing his

tone. She doesn’t like it. “why not? He is my boyfriend. Besides his sister brought yoomin there. that’s were I’m picking

him up.” Yoojin uttered looking outside now. “you’re just going to pick him up right? I’ll wait for you then, I’ll bring you

two home.” “no need. I think It’s better if we sleep over.” Yoojin blurted. Myungsoo is still staying there in their house.

“but jonghun hyung will be coming home. I don’t think he will like it if you two..” “he will not. For jonghun oppa knows

minhyuk and I’m old enough to know what’s wrong and what’s right.” Yoojin cut him. There was silence till they reached

the building. Yoojin go out immediately. “thank you. See you tomorrow” she coldly said, bowing and walks towards the

entrance. Myungsoo sighed. He better make a smooth move. All his tactics are hopeless. He is hopeless.

“oh! I didn’t expect you to be here early” minhyuk is surprised seeing yoojin come in. “wae? You got some girl here?”

yoojin narrowed her eyes. MInhyuk laughed at the sight. It is rare to see his girlfriend jealous. “aigoo, how can I look at

others when you are the only one my eyes wants to see?” minhyuk pulled her for a hug. A smile crept on yoojin’s face.

Minhyuk really do know how to melt her heart. “omma, I’m hungry” they were interrupted by yoomin who just woke up

from his nap. Minhyuk kneel down to face him. “what’s my yoomin want to eat then?” seeing that yoojin admired

minhyuk more. They really looked like a family. Yoojin whipped up something for them to eat. After eating and cleaning

up. “oh, by the way can we stay for the night?” yoojin asked minhyuk while they are watching TV. “sure! But why?” “it’s

just that jonghun oppa is still not home and myungsoo is kind of bugging me” yoojin confessed. Minhyuk looked at

her. “why? Did he do something wrong?” “nothing. I just don’t feel comfortable.” Yoojin said while nudging minhyuk’s

shoulder.

Yoojin POV

“goodnight hyukkie, see you tomorrow.” I uttered. He smiled. “goodnight. Go sleep. You need that. You need to be

presentable tomorrow,but oh on second thought, don’t be so pretty tomorrow, guys might spawn around you.”I was

trying to hold my laugh but I still brust out laughing. “arasso arasso, besides it my BFF’s engagement I don’t want to

out shine her. Like that I can.” Of course I can’t jiyeon is one of the prettiest girl in the campus back then, and now,

she’s bossom into one super pretty lady. I can’t be compare to that. “aish, you are the most beautiful okay, stop

looking down on yourself. Goodnight again. Sweet dreams, DREAM oF ME!” minhyuk kissed my forehead and left the

room. we are staying at his guest room. I suddenly remembered Jiyeon’s face when we are talking about her

engagement earlier. She is far beyond happy. She looks like she’s hiding something. She have changed, but the look in

her eyes still remains. I can tell she is sad.

“yoomin-ah, Palli, Aunt Ji yeon will be upset if we go there late” yoojin called on her son. “I’m done omma.” Yoomin

answered coming from the bathroom. “are you guys ready?” myungsoo asked them when they walk in the living area.

“yes samchon L” yoomin said with a salute. “ay! Why ‘samchon’ all of a sudden? What happen to daddy L?” myungsoo

forrowed his brows. “I have a daddy, minhyuk appa” yoomin replied. great first yoojin now its yoomin. Myungsoo

thought.

At the venue, “jiyeon will you relax.” Eunjung said. “how can I relax when I haven’t know anyone here. Look at my

parents, they look like strangers to me.” Ji yeon eyed her divorced parents. She didn’t know what exactly happened to

them, one thing is for sure she will see to it that she will not be ending up like them.

Yoojin POV

Yoojin saw that this event truly is just a company’s event. She looked around no one is familiar. “excuse me ladies and

gents. May we get your attention for a while. Thank you. Thank you for coming tonight. This party is indeed a special

one. Since Mr. Kang So Roo accepted the merger we presented.” Ji yeon’s dad is totally changed. He somewhat became

more workaholic. “I want to call on my daughter Ji yeon.” Ji yeon walk up to her father. As usual she is a stand out.

“and now Mr. Kang’s Son.” A guy went up,I barely saw his face for we are far from the stage. “omma, drink” yoomin

distracted her. she looked at her son. “everyone,, there’s also another reason why we are here tonight. We also want

you all to know that Mr. Kang’s son Minhyuk is going to be engaged with my only daughter Ji yeon. Don’t they make a

lovely pair?” “minhyuk?” myungsoo distracted me. When I look up I saw minhyuk smiling at everyone beside jiyeon.

“what the hell is happening here?” myungsoo said while looking at me. I froze right there. “what happen?”
