Minhyuk is sitting on the stool on the island. He still can’t believe that he actually found her. Shim

Yoo Jin. The girl who made him what he is today. The responsible Minhyuk. He smiled. “do I have

something on my face?” yoojin asked. She is still a bit feeling awkward on the sudden meeting but he

is a friend. Minhyuk snaps back to reality, realizing that he is indeed staring at her for a long time

now. He fake cough. “uhhmm, I.. I just can’t believe that we will see eachother again after 3 yrs.” He

said. She nod. “yeah, and now you’re my boss. She let out a light laugh. Minhyuk finds himself

amused at her again. Sure she lost weight, but she is still beautiful. Without her glasses she surely

looks sophisticated. “oh, by the way, I know I left my glasses here. Have you found it?” yoojin asked.

“ah, right, here.” Minhyuk took out the glasses out of his blazer pocket. “you have it in there? no

wonder I can’t find it” yoojin scoff and walks toward the dining table to place the food.

“are you staying for dinner?” minhyuk can’t help it. he had to ask her. he wants to spend more time

with her. “I can’t, I…” but before she could continue, there’s a buzzing sound from the door. Minhyuk

unwillingly walks towards the door and opened it. It’s YongHwa, Jungshin, Kevin and Minhwan. “happy

birthday Workaholic chaebol” Kevin , “thanks dude!” yonghwa, jungshin and minhwan

followed and hugged him. They entered the house but Kevin stopped when he saw yoojin. “dude! You

found her?” Kevin whispered. “turns out she’s my cleaning lady, remember, “ajumma” minhyuk replied.

it gain ooohh’s from the guys. “she doesn’t know anything, about me looking for her so hush up and

act innocent.” Minhyuk reminded them.  the guys nod in unison.

Not long after, minjee and donghae arrived with the wine. “wow! You’ve got a capable helper here

hyukkie, and a pretty one I might add. You’re right hon, she’s not suited to be just a cleaning lady.”

Donghae said. Minjee nod in approval. Yoojin just bowed a bit blushing with the compliment. With

that yoojin is now ready to make her leave. “uhmm, excuse me but..” but she got cut again with the

buzzing sound from the door. Minjee stands up and went to the door. She walks in “Chaerin is here”

she said. Minhyuk got a bit puzzled. He didn’t asked chaerin to go in his house. “happy birthday boss.

I’ll give you my gift tomorrow” chaerin said. Minhyuk stands up, walks toward chaerin. “yah, no need.

Finding yoojin is enough.” He said. “eh?” chaerin is clueless. Minhyuk realize what he said “I mean,

finding a capable cleaning lady is enough. Thank you. Care to join us?” minhyuk asked chaerin. “I love

to but, I have an appointment. You can treat me lunch tomorrow boss.” Chaerin joked. “huh? Where is

he?” chaerin looked behind her. yoojin is now near them. yoomin walks in with his head down. Once

inside he searched for yoojin. “Omma!” he blurted. Making everyone there snaps and looked at yoojin.

Minhyuk POV

“umma, who’s that?” the little boy asked. “umma?” I asked taking turns on glancing with wide eyes to

the little boy and yoo jin. “yoomin, come here.meet my friend and now boss. Minhyuk ssi, this is my

son, yoomin. Yoomin this is Minhyuk ajussi. Say hello.” Yoo jin replied with all smiles while squatting

in front of the little boy. “anyonghaseyo! Lee Yoomin Imida. Omma said it’s your birthday, Happy

birthday ajussi” yoomin said. This is a big blow. Yoojin? Already a mother? “uhm, minhyuk ssi, we

better go, I promised yoomin a date. Leave everything, I’ll clean it tomorrow” yoojin said. I nod. I

still can’t find the right words to say. “bye boss! See you tomorrow” chaerin said. I nod again.

“Minhyuk! Kang Minhyuk!” minhyuk snaps back, when minjee slaps his arm. “what happen to you?”

minjee asked. “ah, nothing” minhyuk replied and walks towards the dining area. The guys are all

looking at minhyuk with worried stare. “aigoo, so that’s why she’s not working in a nice job, she’s

already a mom. Wonder how she can handle it. cute kid though. He is adorable.” Minjee uttered cutely

making donghae chuckle. “oh, by the way, donghae and I are going home early. We have a business

trip to japan.” Minjee continued.

Now it’s all boys, they guys waited until minjee and donghae are gone. “dude! I never saw it coming!

She’s a mom!” Kevin blurted in english. Minhyuk looked at him emotionless. He is still in shock. The

girl he wants to see eagerly is now here but she is already married? “she’s married?” minhyuk

whispered but its loud enough to be heard by the boys. “ey! Get a hold of yourself. we know she’s a

mom but we didn’t know if she’s married. Besides, how come she’s working if her husband can provide

for them right?” minhwan reasoned. “hwannie is right! We need to make sure. Let’s not jump into

conclusions.” Yonghwa said. Minhwan and yonghwa looked at jungshin, anticipating for an advice.

“hyukkie, just ask her straight tomorrow.” Jungshin simply said while eating the dessert “wow this is

good.” he continued.

Yoojin POV

After our little mom and son night, I’m laying next to yoomin who is sleeping soundly. He enjoyed out

little venture. But seeing minhyuk again is still a surprise for me. I never thought I will see him

again. I sat up and took the photo album under the bedside table. I the lampshade and

carefully browse the photos. It’s from our vacation. It made me smile widely, seeing the photos and

reminiscing the funny moments we shared. True that we are strangers at first but every hour that

passed, with him tagging along, It’s been so wonderful. it stops on the last photo. Minhyuk’s Solo

photo. Its from my camera, “I did had a crush on him back then.”
