Yoojin POV

~Flashback~

 “waeyo?” I asked. He looked straight to my eyes, “just because. Just be there. You’ll know tomorrow night.” He said

and kissed my forehead. “goodnight for now” He continued.

~Flashback ends~

I remain standing behind the door. What just happened back there? I touch my forehead. “he kissed me?” I’m

lightheaded now. But a smile formed on my lips. I remembered jiyeon’s never dying quote “a kiss to seal a wonderful

night”. It is indeed a wonderful night. He made those things for me. But isn’t it just a game? But what’s with all the

effort? *ringring* my thoughts are suddenly washed out with the sound of my phone. Yeah right I left it here. I walk

towards the bedside table where I left it. 22 missed calls??? 40 messages???  Ohmygosh! I scanned the missed calls

first, some from jonghun oppa, and some from a private number. My heart suddenly felt uneasy. I placed my free hand

where my heart is. What happen? I was about to look at the messages when my phone rang again. Jonghun oppa.

“yoboseyo?” “shim yoojin! Finally! Where have you been? I’ve been calling you..” “I know what’s up?” I asked trying to

sound cool. But deep inside I am nervous. “just don’t freak out okay?, well what am I saying sure you’ll freak out. I

already rebooked your flight, well jiyeon rebooked your flight for the earliest flight tomorrow.” Jonghun oppa said.

Jiyeon? Since when did she returned to korea? The tension is killing me.

“what the hell happen oppa!” I yelled in frustration. “your sister and brother in law died in a car accident 2 days ago”

 my knees weaken and fell on the carpeted ground. The room seems like shrinking on me, I’m  hyperventilating. “bwo?”

I manage to utter. I swore I want to cry now, but the tears seem dry, shock is taking over. My only sister, died. “I know

you are freaking out now yoojin but I need you to be strong, pack your things now, I called the hotel earlier they will

bring you to the airport in 4 hours, your flight will be 3 in the morning. Yoo jin please talk so I would know you’re

getting all of this?” jonghun oppa said. “neh oppa, I got it.” I simply replied. “you and I will be going to US to deal with

the stuff there. Please yoojin take care of yourself. Your grandma needs you” with that I snapped. Grandma must have

been heartbroken now. I stood up. “neh oppa. I’m hanging up now. Let’s talk later.” I uttered after goodbyes I

hurriedly packed my things.

Minhyuk POV

I woke up with the sound of my alarm clock. (phone) I’m still sleepy but seeing what time it is I decided to stand up. I

remembered our moment on the balcony. I smiled. “is she awake yet?” I asked out loud. Should I go to her and ask her

to eat lunch? Maybe not. I should let her rest for the day. I must have surprised her with the kiss last night. I went to

the bathroom and took a shower. I decided to eat lunch on the convenient store, cup noodles. Wearing my board

shorts, white vneck shirt , flipflops and my wayfarer I go on my way. Eating alone is so boring so I thought of walking

on the beach after. Its not that sunny so it’s the best time for a stroll. Hope I can be with yoojin now. I was about to

text her when I saw a chamber maid putting the beddings on yoojin’s balcony. If that girl is cleaning yooj’s room she

should be up now. I walk towards the hotel again. She must have been on the restaurant eating. Once inside, “oh! Mr.

Kang!” Ms. Sheryl called me from the front desk.

“yes?” I answered. Ms. Sheryl looked at me with a puzzling stare. “today is your last day right? Since Ms. Yoojin left

already, I’m gonna be…” “what? She, yoo jin already what?” I asked in english. “woah! You know how to speak in

English? Uhmm… yeah.. someone fix it, stating she needs to go back because of emergency” she explained. I didn’t

bother letting her know that I am actually fluent in English. “does she left something for me?” I asked. “nothing. Sorry

Mr. Kang” she said and walked away. She left? What happen?  I run towards the lift and pushed our floor number. Once

the lift opened I rushed to her room. “excuse me? Can I look around here. My friend used to stay here. I think she left

her shirt here.” I lied to the chambermaid. She nod and continue cleaning, looking around I found nothing. I almost

drag myself to my room. I weakly throw my body to the bed faced down. I haven’t got her address.

I dialed my phone. “yow! Kevin! Where are you now?” “at the university dude, why?” “I need you to find me something

on the registrar’s office””okay dude” “find Shim Yoo Jin’s file look for her address. I’ll be arriving tomorrow night so I

need you to give me the details tomorrow night, which means you’ll be the one who’ll pick me up. See you dude!” I

ended the phone conversation. I remain lying there, facing up now. “I’m going to find you yooj, I’m not gonna lose you

again.”
