Minhyuk POV

As a habit, I went straight to the kitchen to check what ajumma cooked for me. But to my surprise,

there’s nothing there. I looked at the fridge, sure the stock is filled again means she bought

groceries. Then I heard some beeping sound coming from my door. “oh, maybe she came back to cook

for me”  I walk slowly to see who will immerge from the door. “hey Minnie!!” noona yelled. “aish! Hush

up noona! You’re so loud!” I slumped on the cough. Really am I that excited to meet ajumma? “aish!

Is that the nicest way you can think of to greet your noona!” she hit my head. “ouch!” I yelled she

glared at me and I just sat there silently. “I brought dinner. I know your pretty cleaner didn’t cooked”

she said skipping to the kitchen. What she knows? Wait what? Pretty? “noona! You saw my cleaner?”

I asked. I swear I myself thought I sounded stupid. “yeah, I was here in the morning, I thought one

of your girlfriends.” She said while putting out the take outs. Girlfriend? So she is not an ajumma?

“wait? You haven’t seen her?” minjee noona asked.

Yoojin POV

“I’m sorry yoomin-ah, omma just had to work this day, I promise, I will ask my boss for a day off so

we could spend time buying your crayons, and coloring books” I totally forgot our little mother and

son date.  “it’s okay.” Yoomin said and immediately gave me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. With

that, I can’t help but to think of eonnie again. If only she’s here, she will enjoy spending time with

yoomin, he is such an adorable kid. “omma, what happen to your glasses?” yoomin suddenly asked.

Omo! I probably forgot it on my Boss’ house. “I left it at work, but I’ll get it tomorrow. Jonghun

samchon is not here yet?” I asked him he shook his head. “okay, let’s go inside and prepare dinner.

You’re probably starving.”

The next day, minhyuk is contemplating if he is going to work or wait for his cleaning lady. He is so

eager to see her in person. Probably to thank her personally and praise her for the good job she did

for the past weeks. Also, he found the glasses that’s been left on the sink kind of familiar. He is

walking back in fort in his living room. until his phone rang, “yoboseyo?” “ah, is that so, okay, I’ll be

on my way, just stall it for a few minutes, I’ll be there” he sigh after ending the call, “maybe not

today.” He told himself. 30 minutes after minhyuk left yoojin arrived at the pad. She looked for her

specs first but to her surprise its nowhere to be found. “omo, where did I put it? have I lost it?” she

asked herself, with that she continue to her daily job, in the middle cleaning the living room when the

door opened, she looked at who’s entering and found minjee.

“oh! You’re cleaning again? Seriously, hyukkie should stop this nonsense. What a clean freak” minjee

sat on the sofa. “ah, Ms. Yoo, can you buy some ingredients for hyukkie’s birthday tomorrow, it’s just

a small gathering. I bet you can handle to make some food.” Minjee said. It’s been her habit to give

minhyuk an intimate dinner with few close friends since their parents are always abroad. “sure

ma’am. What do you want me to cook?” “anything. We are not picky. Surprise us. So, let’s go! I’ll go

with you at the supermarket” minjee said pulling yoojin.

Again, getting home, minhyuk looked at what his cleaning lady cooked for him, he smiled seeing she

left some food for him with a note again. “boss, hope this is fine with you. Your sister is here again

earlier and requested this beef stew. Advance happy birthday! Minjee ssi, took me to buy some

ingredients for your dinner tomorrow.” Minhyuk let out a smile. Tomorrow is the right time to see who

is the girl behind the sweet letters.

Yoojin got home a bit exhausted. Minjee is really a high spirited one. She is so energetic it’s hard to

believe that minjee and her sister is at the same age. Minjee acts like she’s younger that yoojin. That

thought made yoojin smile unknowingly. “yooj! Hey!” a familiar voice called her. she turned to see

who it is. It’s Chaerin. “oh! Chaerinah, you’re early today.” “yeah, well, my boss is eager to go home

early. I don’t know why, it’s a bit weird.” chaerin made a face. Yoojin giggled. “maybe he is tired. Also

it’s his birthday tomorrow.” “yeah you’re right.” “oh, chaerin-ah, can you do me a favor, uhm, I’ll be

cooking at his house tomorrow, can you drop yoomin there, we will be having our mother and son

bonding after my work there.” yoojin said. “okay, no problem, I’ll probably be home early again

tomorrow” chaerin said.

Yoojin is busy with her cooking the next day. She decided to make 3 dishes, and a dessert. Luckily

her grandma is a good cook. She learned so much from her. Minjee arrived before she could finish the

dessert. “oh, wow! This looks yummy! You are so good! I bet it taste great, can’t wait! Hyukkie will

love these.” She exclaimed eyeing the foods on the table. “you are staying for dinner right?” minjee

asked looking at yoojin with her sparkling eyes. “I’m sorry but..” before she could finish, minjee’s

phone rang. “oops, got to take this” she swiftly vanished from the kitchen. After a few minutes. “Ms.

Yoo, I’m going out for a bit, my fiancé asked me to go with him to buy wine.” Minjee waved and left.

“minjee ssi is so cute” yoojin uttered while placing the dessert on the fridge, yoojin is busy with the

plating when the door clicked open again, “ms. Minjee, the food are all ready..” yoojin uttered.

Minhyuk POV

I entered the house, “Ms. Minjee the food are all ready…” someone called up, this voice is somewhat

familiar. I walk to the living room, there I saw her, does my eyes deceives me now? Am I just missing

and wanting to see her so much that I’m having hallucinations? “Yoojin?” I uttered. She looked up

and got surprised by my presence. “Kang Min Hyuk ssi?.... you are…. My… boss??”
