“Vice President Kang! Welcome back” Donghae the general manager greeted Minhyuk. “It’s nice to be back Donghae

hyung. How’s my sister?” minhyuk asked while donghae is talking the briefcase from minhyuk. “as usual, a pain in the

” donghae replied followed by a laugh. Minhyuk joins him. “well, goodluck having a childlike-slash- monster fiancé.”

Minhyuk pats donghae’s shoulder. They make their way to the waiting car. ~”Korea. It’s been a while”~

Yoo Jin POV

“Ajumma, I promise I will pay the rent next week. I just got lay off from my job” I begged the lady who owns our small

rented room. “aish! Yoojin ssi, I already gave you this the last time. I need the money too! I will give you until

tomorrow to pack and leave” she said and left. I ruffled my hair. What am I going to do? Tomorrow is grandma’s death

anniversary. “grandma why did you left me too?” I whispered looking to the sky. “omma! I’m hungry” I looked at the

little boy who is rubbing his hand on his eyes, bed head and waking wobbly, I smiled seeing him. “omo! My baby is

hungry. Okay, lets go inside and omma will cook you something.” I pick him up, he is only 4 but he sure is heavy and

big for his age.

Minhyuk POV

Donghae hyung left me in my new condo. Noona wanted me to live with her in our house but I really wanted to live

alone. I don’t need her nagging me about getting a girlfriend. I sat on the couch facing the wonderful view of the city.

Donghae hyung sure did a wonderful job finding this place. *ringring* my phone rang and seeing the caller ID I rolled

my eyes. “yow Yonghwa hyung! What’s up?” I asked. “yow Minhyuk! Heard you are back. wanna hang out tonight? We

will be celebrating your return.” He said. I sat comfortably on the couch. “I think I’ll pass, I’ve got some unpacking to

do.” I lied. Sure I’ve got to unpack but I can do it some other time. “hey! Since when did you refuse a night out full of

y and beautiful ladies?” he asked again. “I’m just busy now. We can meet some other time. Bye.” With that I

hanged up. Yoojin changed me a lot. Where are you now yooj?

~Flashback~

I arrived at gimpo airport, I looked around to see where is Kevin. There I spot him, I rushed to him. “wh-where’s th-the

f-file” I manage to said in between gasp. I run so I’m out of breathe. “there you go. You say she is the one you spend

time with in the Philippines?” Kevin asked. I nod. “sweet! I don’t believe on that kind of stuff, but I think fate is on your

side dude!” Kevin said patting my shoulder. I gave him a weak smile “I doubt that dude. She went back first, leaving me

behind” I said reading her file, “hey you can read in on the car.” Kevin said dragging me to the car. “where are we

going?” Kevin asked while he is on the wheels. “we go to Yoojin’s first” I said.

Once we arrived on the neighborhood, I manage to find the right house, it’s late at night but the house seems empty.

A passerby came to me. “excuse my youngman, what are you doing there?” an old man asked. I bowed “excuse me

ajussi, but does shim yoo jin live here?” I asked. “oh, yoojin-ah, well, they used to live there. they just moved out this

morning. It’s too sudden no one knows why they move.” The ajussi said. I nod absentmindedly.

Yoo Jin POV

“Shim Yoo Jin!” jonghun oppa waved his hand infront of my face, “huh?” I asked dumbly. “you’re spacing out again!” he

said. I looked down. He always go here before going to his apartment. Always checking up on us. But I must admit.

The feelings I had for him slowly disappeared as the days passed. Now I am looking up to him as a brother. A real

brother. “I told you, just stay at my place now. You don’t need to pay the rent. My place is big enough for us.” He said

while sipping his coffee. He looked at yoomin who is sleeping now. “I don’t know oppa..””geez, yoojin-ah, I am the only

family you got. I can’t abandon you two, I promised grandma that I’ll take care of you two. Besides yoomin is about to

enter school. There’s a day care near my place” he said.

~Flashback~

“are you Ms. Yoo Jin Shim?” a black guy asked me. I nod. “I am Attorney James West. I’m your brother in laws friend

and lawyer. As far as we know, you are the only relative for which their kid must be given to.” I’m totally shocked that

my sister already gave birth to a baby boy, the baby just turned 1, I can’t believe eonnie kept this a secret to me. “well

your sister told me that they are planning to visit you and your grandma soon to tell about yoomin. She and your

brother in law wanted to surprise you but I don’t think they can fulfill it. with that a lady came in carrying a baby boy

who is sleeping soundly she gave him to me, and for the first time since I heard the bad news I cried. Jonghun oppa

who is beside me pats my back.

One week later, yoojin is getting used on her new neighborhood. A family next door is so kind that they let yoomin stay

with them while yoojin is looking for a job.

 “Secretary Chae rin, can you find me a house cleaner? The one who can clean the house while I’m gone, I don’t need a

stay in maid.” Minhyuk asked her secretary. “oh! A girl next door in our building is looking for a part time job. I’ll ask

her if she wants to” Chaerin replied. “good, give me an update. She will be paid based on her work, its not that hard

you know, just clean the house except my room” minhyuk said and chaerin nod.
