I woke up with the sun rays almost blinding me. My trusty frog-shaped clock hands pointed at 6AM. I yawned. I don't have to be at the coffee shop today. Instead, I have to be at school helping out with the preparations for the senior graduation ceremony. I better not be late. Or else tiny-killer-eyes Sunggyu is gonna kill me with his stare again. While brushing my hair, I picked up a tube of mascara that was lying behind my jewellery box. I looked at quizzically. ' How do I even use this ? ' I don't understand why did Sungjongie bought it for me in the first place. Why would a boy buy me this ?

" You're gonna need it ! " Sungjong said, matter-of-factly after handing me the thin stick-like tube. 

" But I don't know how to use it. I don't know why would people put this black stuff on their eyes. They might turn blind ! " I exclaimed.

" It's super easy to use. And it makes your eyes look so much prettier. You're gonna thank me for this someday , " Sungjong said, winking at me. 

I pulled out the mascara " stick " and started applying it to my eyelashes, mimicking Sungjong. ' I hope I'm doing it right. ' Okay, I look different. Thank you Sungjongie. I checked my hair one last time, smoothen down my clothes and headed for the door. Oh I almost forgot. " Bye Mom. Bye Dad. "

" Ho -eun ah, come help me with these tables, " Yeol called from the end of the hall. 

" I'll be right there ! " I pushed several chairs together and jogged to where Yeol was standing, surrounded by tables. 

" Where you want them to go ? Over there by the stage ? " I asked.

" No, bring them to the buffet area. We need more tables there. " 

While I was busy setting up the tables for the buffet, a sudden dolphin-like scream made me jump. 

" OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD ! I forgot the coffee mugs ! OTTOKAE ? " Yeol cried in despair. 

" Oppar, don't worry. I'll go and get them ! " I said. Yeol can't handle stress very well.

" I'll go with you. "

I turned around to find Myungsoo staring at me. Embarassed, he looked away. I nodded and was still a state of shock. He was already walking towards the exit. ' Why does he wants to follow me ? ' 

I ran after him. " You don't have to come though, " I said.

" You're gonna need my help with those boxes. " 

I was staring so intently at him that I didn't see the curb ahead. 

" Ahhhhhh ! " I felt my body slowly falling to the ground. 

And suddenly a sturdy hand grabbed my arm and pulled me close. Before I know it, my head was against Myungsoo's chest. He smells like Earl Grey tea. 

" Be careful. " He whispered in my ear.

I gulped. I could hear my heartbeat in my ears. 

It was just so awkward all the way back to school after that.
