-Hours later-

“Ladies, gentlemen, I’m sorry but the shop is closing now.” The owner of Tángguǒ Diàn says.

“Okay.” The six of them all got up from their chair and bid farewell to the owner.

“Bye, bye.” Ella gives a gentle hug to the owner.

“Bye, sweetheart.” He smiles at her as he waves to the others.

“I’ll visit again!” Ella says.

“I’ll be waiting.” The elderly man smiles.

Ella nods and walks away with her friends.

“Well, I guess this is where we separate.” Mike says as he gives Hebe back the earpiece. “Thanks for sharing the music with me.”

Hebe smiles and shakes her head. “No, it is my pleasure.”

“I would ask if I can drive you home but I didn’t bring my car with me.” Mike told her.

Hebe giggles and says, “No, it’s fine. I don’t live that far from here.” She gives him a friendly hug. “I can walk with my friends.”

Mike returns the hug and nods his head. “Okay. Have a safe trip on the way home.”

“Thanks, you too.”

“Well, I guess this is a goodbye.” Jerry nervously bids his farewell.

Ella nods her head. “Yeah, bye.”

“Have a safe trip on the way.” Jerry says.

“Uh-huh…” Ella nods her head. “You too.”

Jerry pecks on her cheeks. “I hope we can see each other again.”

Ella blushes and just nods her head.

“Come on, I’ll take you home.” Dason says, not wanting to depart from his girlfriend yet.

Selina looks at her best friends.

“Just go.” Ella rolls her eyes.

“Yeah, we are not going to stop you.” Hebe nods in.

“Are you sure?” Selina asks.

Hebe nods her head. “Go on…”

“Okay.” Selina gives them a smile. “Have a safe trip then.” She gives them a hug.

“Yeah, see you tomorrow.” Hebe says.

“Yeah, we are going to see each other tomorrow.” Ella rolls her eyes.

“Oh right…” Selina laughs. “Well, bye.”

“Go already.” They push her to the three men who are waiting for her.

With that gesture, they all separate from there.

  “Are your parents home?” Hebe asks. “I haven’t visited them for a while now.”

 Ella shrugs her shoulders. “I don’t know. Sometimes, they stay at the office for overtime.”

“Wow, they is very dedicated to their work.”

Ella nods her head. “I mostly stay home with Calvin or alone.”

“Alone…?” Hebe asks.

“Yeah, Calvin got himself a girlfriend. Her name is Genie Zhuo.” Ella explains. “He mostly spends his time at her place now. I believe that they are planning to move in together sometime soon.”

“Wow, that’s great!” Hebe is happy for the man. “That’s mean he is moving on from Angela.”

“Yeah, he is. I am happy for him too.” Ella replies.

“This now.” Hebe pouts.

“Why?”

“Because I cannot anymore.” Hebe sighs. “He has found himself a girlfriend.”

Ella laughs out loud. “You love to , don’t you?”

“What it is not my fault that he is an easy target?” Hebe reasons.

“Alright, let’s go home now.” Ella yawns. “I’m getting tired.”

“Yeah, I bet all of that sugar you just ate has worn down now.” Hebe says as she drags her legs on the cement ground.
