Brittanii's POV

I was sleeping peacefully when I felt someone saying my name. I pulled the covers off my head and saw Melody standing over me. I smiled at her.

"Good morning." I said.

"Morning."

"What time is it?"

"It's six thirty in the morning."

"Why did you get me up so early?"

"We have school today."

"School? What is school?"

"School is where people go to learn things, like math and reading and writing."

"Oh, I've always wanted to learn to write!"

"You don't know how to write?"

"We don't have paper underwater."

"Then how do you know how to read?"

"I don't really know, but where I come from, everyone knows how to read, very well."

Melody smiled, "Well, get up and get dressed, before we're late."

Once I got ready, I walked down stairs and was met by Melody and Henry. I greeted them with a smile.

"Hey, Henry." I said.

"Good Morning, Vi."

"You ready?" Melody asked.

"Yeah."

"Wait, here." Melody said handing me a bag.

"What is this?"

"It's a book bag, you put all your books and thing that you need for school in it."

"Oh cool."

"Alright lets, go." Henry said.

As we walked out side, I saw a black car waiting out front. I remember Melody telling me that this was a car and it takes us to places fast.

We got into the car, and headed to school. After a while be came up a building.

This is school? Looks nice.

We got out of the car and I followed Melody in side. There were many kids around, I think I'm going to like it here.

Melody showed me where my classes where, which was easy for Melody and I had the same classes together. But our lockers where not.

I went to my locker and put my things away, when someone walked up behind me.

"Well, well, look what we got here. It's the new girl."

"Hi, I'm Brittanii, nice to meet you."

"Of course, everyone wants to meet me."

"Why?"

"You don't know who I am?"

"No?"

"I am Miya. I am the head cheerleader and most popular girl in school."

"Oh, nice to meet you then, Miya."

"Ahhh, don't think just because you're cute and new I won't hurt you."

"Why would you hurt me?"

"I have my reason." Miya grabbed my books and threw them on the floor.

"Yah!" Someone yelled.

I turned and saw Ren coming towards us.

"Miya, why don't you go and jump off you cheerleaders and leave Brittanii alone."

Miya gave a growl and walked away.

"Thanks Ren."

"No, problem."

School went by very fast, it seemed like it only lasted a few hours.

I walked out side and saw Melody and Henry waiting for me. I ran to her and gave her a big hug.

"Melody, I love it here."

"Good, I'm happy about that."

"Mai, what is a cheerleader?"
