“Since when did you wake up hyung?”, the younger boy asked.

Ljoe raised 3 fingers. “3 days ago?”, Changjo questioned.

He shook his head. “3 hours.”

Changjo’s eyes widened. “3 hours ago!?”

Ljoe nodded.

Tha maknae pinched his hyung’s cheeks, making sure. “You look perfectly fine hyung. Are you sure you just woke up?”, he asked once more.

“Don’t believe me?”, Ljoe asked.

“No”

“Well believe now.”

Changjo just nodded and continued walking. Ljoe following behind him.

“Who is this Jaehyuk boy anyway? You don’t tell me anything”

“Well I’m sorry if you were in a coma for months and I couldn’t tell you anything. At all.”, Changjo sarcastically told him.

Ljoe looked at him, his eyes pleading for the story. “Well?”

Changjo sighed. “Jaehyuk is my bestfriend’s brother. He had leukemia when he was a child, and until now he’s still ill.”

The elder boy looked at his dongsaeng’s frustrated face. He patted his back and comforted him.

“It’s fine hyung. I’m not the one who needs comfort. It’s the boy who needs it. That’s why I admire his sister for taking good care of him.”, Changjo said, his eyes sparkling in admiration.

Ljoe chuckled, “You must really like his sister huh?”.

Changjo crossed his hands in denial. “N-no, it’s not like that! I mean, you know, after all they’ve been through, she’s still strong for Jaehyuk”.

“Psh, okay. I’ll just pretend I believe that”, Ljoe teased.

“Don’t think too much hyung”

“Sheesh. You can tell me. It’s not like I’ll take her or anything.”

 “Aish hyung! I told you it’s not like that!”, Changjo shouted.

“Don’t shout!I’m not deaf you idiot!”, Ljoe complained.

Changjo creased his eyebrows in annoyance.

“Your hyung already likes someone so you don’t have to worry about me liking her.”, he told him.

“For the umpteenth time hyung, I don’t like he----“.

“Save it”. Ljoe butted in before the boy finished.

“Who’s the girl anyways?”, Changjo curiously asked.

Ljoe frowned, “Why?”

“I was just asking. This is your first time saying you like someone”.

He smiled gleefully. “Let’s just say it was fate who wanted me to meet her.”

“Psh, fate my ”, Changjo muttered.

As soon as the two boys arrived at the hospital, Changjo went straight to the reception table.

“Excuse me, checkup for Lee Byunghun please.”

The nurse handed out papers. “Please fill out the form.”

Changjo nudged Ljoe and urged him to fill up the form.

After finishing, the nurse took it and typed in the information.

“Lee Byunghun?”, the nurse said.

“Yes?”

“Uhm, it says here you’re still admitted. State : coma patient”.

Both boys looked at each other. The elder one shrugging, the younger furrowing his eyebrows.

“I’m sorry, I must’ve been mistaken”. The nurse apologized.

Ljoe laughed. “I am admitted.”

*Was he the boy awhile ago?*, she thought.

The nurse looked at him with unease.

“Wait, don’t tell me you’re that boy that went out hours ago?”

Ljoe saluted her and nodded. “Yup, that’s me sweetheart”.

“Hyung! Are you crazy!? You weren’t discharged yet!”, Changjo raised his voice.

“Relax man. Like you said, I’m perfectly fine”

“I’m sorry to interrupt but he needs to be checked now. Mr. Lee Byunghun, please follow me.”, the nurse told him.

Ljoe grabbed hold of her. “It’s Ljoe. Get that right”, he firmly stated.

The woman gulped and nodded. “Mr. Ljoe-sshi. Please follow me.”

Ljoe smirked. “That’s better”.

“ See you later maknae! Oh and find my girl will ya? She’s in here somewhere!”, Ljoe shouted at the other corner.

“Hyung, there are like a hundred patients in this hospital! I don’t even know her face”., Changjo shouted back.

By the time he finished, Ljoe had already gone.

Changjo rolled his eyes and just went to find Jaehyuk’s room.
