Neon Club in Seoul was the place to go to hear all kinds of rappers perform and battle it out to some sick beats.

I, Kim Yubin, had started rapping there a few years ago, trying to make a name for myself in the club rapping circuit, hoping to become a big name in the underground.

Every day I would practice freestyling, and every Saturday night I would make my way to Neon to either perform some of my own compositions, or battle someone else.
This weekend there was going to be a battle with a bunch of newbies who hadn’t battled before.
I felt a little bad for them because of how unprepared they were, but I also enjoyed being able to easily win now and then, although challenges were my favorite. Just two weeks before, a guy whose stage name was Jin had challenged me and although his skills were impressive, I ended up being able to find his weakness and expose it, and win.
