A Journey Called Life
Description
It's not like I wanted this. I knew something was fishy from the beginning. There was my brother, Yang Seungho, right in front of me. He was grinning like a fool, with his arms wide open, as if he expected me to jump into them. I looked up. How could I be tricked like this? There it was - MBLAQ's dorm. I knew a lot of things I knew that something was fishy from the very start, I knew that there was no turning back, and most of all, I knew that my life would never be the same after today. After all, life is a journey. You never know where you end up, that's why you just have to make the best of it.
Foreword
PROLOGUE
Hi! My name is Yang Rena and yes, I'm the younger sister of Yang Seungho. I'm 17 years old, and I was born on July 18, 1993 in the U.S. My parents are the best parents in the whole world. I've never had a boyfriend, or anything of that sort. Love isn't really my thing, but that doesn't matter. I'm smart and athletic - one of the top students in my school. If I had to descirbe my life, I'd say I love it. Or well, more like, I did.
The day my parents died in a car accident was the day my life took a turn. I promised myself to be strong, but even so, during the funeral, I was crying nonstop. I couldn't help it, they were my most precious parents and I loved them. My brother was in Seoul, Korea, and was probably unaware of our parents' death. All my other relatives didn't have enough room to take me in, and I had no where to go. I felt so doomed and hopeless. I remember dropping on my knees, weeping, until I finally got a hold of myself. I didn't want anyone to treat me extra kindly out of pity. I was going to be strong — STRONGER. But deep inside of me, was a feeling I couldn't have ever erased so easily. A feeling of loneliness.
