She smiled brightly and began to laugh. Her voice was so sweet, so pure. Her eyes twinkled. But I knew it wasn't for me. It was all for him. Everything she did, everything she hoped, everything she dreamed of, was all for him.

She looked up. "Ah, Mir!" She greeted. "I didn't see you there, good morning." Again, it's that look in her eyes.

Of course you didn't see me. You simply can't. All you can see with those eyes of yours is him. Just what do you see in him?

I smiled weakly. "Morning Mina."

She nodded and went right back to talking to him. It didn't take long for her to smile. Her bright smile, her sweet and pure voice. I loved it all. But it wasn't for me. It was for him and him only.

Mina, open your eyes and look at me and me only. What do you see?

I turned my back to her and walked into the school building. She didn't even bother to say goodbye.

I felt a tug at my heartstrings.
