Irene's pov

The moment I opened my eyes, severe headache kicked in. I still tried my best to get up in a sitting position. I looked around on the other side of the bed. It was empty. There were painkillers and a glass of lemonade kept on the side table with a yellow sticky note saying - "take the pill" with her initials KSG. From the note I figured she was angry about last night . I took the pills and rested for another 10mins. Once I got out of bed, I texted my boss for an emergency leave which he approved instantly beacuse I barely ever took leaves. I took shower and changed into decent clothes. 

Timeskip to evening

I was watching a random k-drama when the door bell rang. Before, I could get up to open the door. Seulgi entered the hall with the spare keys.She din't spare me a glace and went straight to our bedroom. I went to the kitchen and got some coffee and snacks for her. I went to the room but she was not in there. I saw her leaning in the balcony. I kept the food on the table and headed to where she was standing. I backhugged her but she flinched on my touch.

Seulgi's pov

"Seul.."she said caressing my abs.

"Irene, I will not bother you much but I just have one question.Be honest and answer it. I promise to react rationally. We all make mistakes ."

I sighed and prepared myself for her answer.

"Where were you yesterday?"

"I told you I was with Joy, we just had a few drinks, why are you sulking about it?" she said raising her voice a little.

Hyun never lied to me. Never. So the first time I caught her lying I had to rethink about all the times I put my blind trust on her. I felt like a fool , like a clown. I decided not to pester her about it since she already decided to hide the truth. I wanted some space from her in that moment.
