"Akala ko ba tayo 'tong mga taga-Uste, e bakit si Joohyun 'tong nang-gho-ghost?" Hyoyeon quipped as Taeyeon told her of how after less than a year, Joohyun has suddenly stopped communicating with Seulgi.

"Hindi ko nga rin alam e. Isang araw, nag-vi-video call pa sila, tapos reduced to one Whatsapp message na lang daw tapos biglang ayun, wala na talagang paramdam," Taeyeon said.

"Pero sabagay, Seulgi couldn't demand anything from her naman nga from the get go," Hyoyeon shrugged. "Hindi naman sila."

"I guess the more important question here now is - kumusta si Seulgi?" 

That was the same question playing in Taeyeon's mind as she looked at Seulgi, whom she invited to an art exhibit as a way of helping her try to take her mind off Joohyun.

"Seul - kamusta ka?" She asked, tentative to broach the subject.

Seulgi gave her a soft smile. "Trying to imbibe the message of this painting," she said as she gestured to the artwork mounted on the wall. 

It was Tibo Deocades' "Patuloy ang Buhay," a painting done in 2019. The triptych would be later included in a fundraiser at the height of the pandemic. 

"Parang musika mo lang 'yan, ate Taeyeon.  Kailangan matapos ng isang kanta para mapakinggan mo 'yung himig nang susunod pa."
