The Lexicon of PighatiSeulgi's words anchored Taeyeon and provided her some sort of direction in demystifying the sudden longing she felt for the younger girl - it has always been a source of despair, mystery and consternation to trace back and determine at what point did someone realize they are, yes, already in love with someone else and Taeyeon is now at the center of this bewilderment.
She remembers Seulgi telling her to examine Juan Luna's "Tampuhan," when she asked the latter how was she able to realize that she already has feelings for Joohyun.
The painting, which now Taeyeon is looking at, shows a man standing inside a house, his gaze focused on the outside world, while another person, a woman, remained sitting, her sight directed away from the man. This evinced tension and yes, maybe even a lover's quarrel, though some art historians say there was no discord or argument, whatsoever - it's just that the man was enamored by whatever was happening outside the house, may be it a procession, an activity or maybe by even someone he saw outside.
It was just that. There was no spat. No disagreement. Maybe the two people in the painting weren't even lovers in the first place.
So where is love then in this painting?
She had to talk to Seulgi to understand what it meant, because maybe, by gaining some clarity from her, Taeyeon would understand why this happened to her too - why she did that one thing she prevailed upon herself not to do - to fall in lov
