THREE YEARS LATER 

“And the winner for Best Male Boy Group is…NCT!” the announcer said and everyone in the audience cheered. 

Jang Mi and I were in the audience behind the boys at the end of the year MAMA Awards. 

“NCT, also known as SM Entertainment’s treasure, has yet again won Best Male Group for the fourth year in a row,” the announcer continued as they walked up on stage to receive the award. 

“Wow, first of all, we’d like to say thank you for voting for us again. We couldn’t have done this without any of you. Boys? Any words” Taeyong started, holding up the award. 

“Yes, um…I just want to say thank you to everyone who supported us throughout all of these years. Despite the accident and the hiatus I took, you all continued to support me. And I wanna shout out to my wife and my daughter in the crowd,” Mark said, pointing to us. 

The fans cheered. 

Mark and I officially got married a year ago and despite everything, SM allowed Mark to stay in the group. 

Most of the NCT fans supported Mark more than ever and he got to do both: keep his career and take care of us. 

The awards show ended and I quickly ran backstage to greet all of them. 

“Yo!! Eunji!” they all said, giving me a hug. 

“My daddy is the best!” Jang Mi yelled, giving Mark a kiss before he carried her.
