Inseong is silently cleaning his friend’s wound as he tries to ignore the serious glare from So Hyun. Rowoon stares at his friend, as he tries to feel the tension in the room. 

“So Hyun-ah, I think you should also get checked. The car was pretty wrecked” Inseong finally spoke

“I’m not leaving this room” So Hyun said as she continues to stare at them

“You know I’m not the one who hit your car and threatened Rowoon’s life right? You need to stop glaring at me. You’re scaring me” Inseong said

“Tell me the truth. How is Rowoon oppa?” So Hyun asked

“I told you…” Rowoon tried to say

“How is Rowoon oppa, Inseong oppa?” She ignored Rowoon

“He’s really fine, So Hyun-ah. I’m stitching up his wound on the forehead, but he’s ok. He’s going to be ok. In fact he can even go home now” Inseong assured the younger one

So Hyun sighed and approached the two. Both men froze when she sat beside Rowoon and put her head on his shoulder.

“Did the men who attacked us talk already?” She asked

Inseong finished up stitching Rowoon and set aside his things. He stared at the girl with pity. This may have been her first experience with a threat other than petty sasaeng fans that used to follow her around. 

“That must have really shocked you huh?” The doctor said

“Whoever it was that sent those men, they meant to get rid of Rowoon oppa for good. They wouldn’t have stopped chasing us if Youngbin oppa did not show up. We need to find out who they are” So Hyun said

“It shouldn’t be your worry baby girl. Don’t worry. Your oppas will take of it” Jaeyoon entered the room and approached his sister

“Oppa” So Hyun stood up and gave her brother a tight hug

“Aigoo our little girl must have been so scared. Don’t worry. This will not happen again” He assured his sister before letting go

“Hyung, we still don’t know who those men are?” Rowoon asked

“They’re not talking. One of them killed himself. My guess is that whoever is behind this, is someone who knows what our family does and was ready for that”

“Then shouldn’t Rowoon oppa move back to their family’s home so someone can protect him?” 

“That’s exactly what I said but my stubborn brother refuses to. He negotiated with Youngbin oppa of having guards around him instead” Jisoo came in the room with Dawon beside her

“Baby girl!! Are you ok?” Dawon ran to his sister

“Rowoon oppa is the one who needed stitching. Not me” the younger one answered. 

“What’s the plan now though? I don’t think this will be the last one. Rowoon might be their target today, but one of us could be the next target” Jisoo said

 “Luckily our parents are out of the country so they wouldn’t be easy targets” Dawon said “But Jisoo is right. What do we do? So Hyun and Hwiyoung are both exposed in public. Nowadays, Chani is working on his music so he rarely goes out, but they are all still easy targets” 

“We’ll just need to add more men to watch over them. We’ll keep searching on who it may be. We’ll ask the police’s help for this too” Jaeyoon said

“Then if that is all settled, I’d like to actually go home and change” Rowoon spoke up

“You should stay for the night” Jisoo said

“Inseong hyung said, I’m free to go. Right hyung?” Rowoon looked at the older man

“Uhm yes he can go. I mean really, this is such a minor injury” Inseong said

“Oppa! You should not encourage him to move around!” So Hyun said

“Well the doctor has spoken, so I shall go!” Rowoon stood up and grabbed his jacket

“I’m going with Rowoon oppa” So Hyun announced

“You know your two older brothers are here right?” Dawon asked

“Yes, so I’m saying, no need to worry. I’ll watch over Rowoon oppa. I won’t be filming till 3 days after any way so I can stay over”

“You know I’m pretty open with you dating, but I find your intimacy with Rowoon still disturbing” Jaeyoon said

“Not like we can make out or have when he’s injured so don’t worry. We won’t do anything intimate. I’m just going to be there to nurse him” So Hyun bluntly said

“Ok we should go” Rowoon held on So Hyun’s hand as he pulled her out of the door

“My men will drive you to his house!” Jaeyoon said

“Something has changed between those two” Jisoo said “That’s not faking it anymore”

“I’m more worried about what she said. Wow it’s still awkward thinking my sister being intimate with someone” Dawon blurted

“Quit it! I’ll need to have a drink. For a brother, this is too much. When did my sister grow so much?” Jaeyoon said before walking out

“Are you sure you don’t want to rest in your bedroom?” So Hyun asked as they sat in the living room

“You know you mentioned ‘intimate’ a while ago, do you think I can just go back to my room?” Rowoon put his arm around the girl

“Oppa? Did you hit your head that hard?” So Hyun looked at him and laughed

“Why?”

“Where did the cool Rowoon oppa that I know go?”

“You mean your Rowoon oppa that was using all his power to restrain himself from telling you how he feels?” 

So Hyun reached out to cup Rowoon’s cheeks “But in all honesty, I really got scared there. They wanted to shoot you. I saw it with my own two eyes” 

“I was scared that they’d hurt you. All I can think about then is to get you out of there” Rowoon held on her hands

“The other side of our family is really scary huh? I’m always nervous for Youngbin oppa and Jaeyoon oppa” So Hyun said as she let go of his cheeks. 

“It’s worrisome but that’s basically business too” Rowoon shook his head

“Can I sleep with you tonight?” So Hyun suddenly blurted.

“Ya! I was just….I was joking about…” 

“Just sleeping! I just want to make sure you’re going to be ok. I just want to make sure that nothing really happened to you”

“I’m alive so no need to worry, but yes, you can sleep beside me. Though I can’t promise I can control myself” Rowoon tried to lighten the mood

So Hyun stared at Rowoon and smiled. This man right here is the one who’ll always have her heart. She thought of the times she was with Song Kang and mentally scolded herself. How can she be mistaken about how she felt then? She wanted to feel him again, so slowly, she leaned closer. Inching closer to feel his breathing. Their lips almost touched when her phone pinged, telling her a message received. She hurriedly grabbed her phone in panic. Was she really just about to kiss her ex boyfriend? She read the message and frowned.

“Are you ok? Did you get hurt?” - Song Kang

So Hyun quickly sent a message to Jaeyoon. There is no way anyone would know tonight’s incident. Just how did Song Kang know?
