“So Hyun-ah! Let’s get ready for the next scene. Come out in 3 minutes?” The director said

“Yes pd-nim! Thank you!” She answered

“You must be bored now that Hwiyoung went back to Seoul. Hang in there. Just one more day and you’ll be going back to Seoul too” Manager Shin said

“I just wish it’s not Song Kang. I don’t like it when I have scenes with him” So Hyun whispered, careful that no one else can hear her

“I know. I bet Rowoon would throw a fit if he sees the next scene coming up” Manager Shin looked at So Hyun with pity. “I’m sorry you have to go through this”

“It’s my work, I can’t really do anything about it unnie. Well on a good side, I get to go back to Seoul after 3 weeks of filming here!” So Hyun tried to be cheerful

“You’ll get a 3-day break too, so you can spend a lot of time with Rowoon” The manager teased. 

“I should. I should hang out with my brothers too. Maybe we can all take a break and hang out somewhere” The thought of being with her family and friends made her smile “but for now, I should just go to work” So Hyun sighed before heading out of her waiting room. It’s going to be a long filming process for the actress

“Oh Jaeyoon hyung, you’re here” Rowoon greeted the older man. He’s come back to his family home to grab something before driving down to Gapyeong. He wanted to surprise So Hyun

“I actually came here to talk to you about something” Jaeyoon said before taking a sip of his coffee

“Is something going on?” Rowoon sat beside Jaeyoon

“Song Kang” Youngbin started “Something feels off with him” Rowoon’s older brother said

“So Hyun asked me to check on Song Kang’s background. I tried to look for 3 weeks now, but nothing. It’s as if even the government does not know who his parents are”

“Could it be that his parents and family are in another country?” Rowoon asked

“It bothers me why my sister is asking about him though. Do you know why she would?” Jaeyoon looked at Rowoon

“I have no idea” Rowoon shook his head

“I don’t feel good about that man. Maybe Chani is right all a long. That guy is not good for our little princess” Youngbin said

“Hwiyoung said he’s left Gapyeong. I don’t feel good about So Hyun being alone with that man. I’ll head there today to stay with her” Jaeyoon said

“Hyung. I’m driving down to Gapyeong actually. I just came here to quickly grab something” Rowoon said before standing up

“What’s up with you and my sister any way? Why does it seem like not an act anymore” Jaeyoon teased

“I’m not. She knows I’m not acting hyung. I love her” Rowoon confessed

“It’d be nice if you really end up as my in-law” Jaeyoon said

“And me as your in-law right Youngbin hyung?” Dawon suddenly came in with Jisoo behind him

“I’ll think about it” Youngbin laughed

“Hyung!!!” Dawon whined

“I should get going now” Rowoon said

“Our men will follow you” Youngbin said

“Take care of my sister” Jaeyoon said

“Why?? Did someone threaten my beloved sister?” Dawon panicked

“Calm down Dawon. Just take care of my little sister” Youngbin once again asked Rowoon 

“I got her hyung. Always” Rowoon said before leaving the room

“Cut!” The director shouted “We need to film in different angles, so keep your position. Pull the blanket lower. We want to see more of Song Kang’s back. I know it could be awkward but you guys are doing great” The director said before turning his attention to the main cameraman

Song Kang looked at So Hyun with so much lust. It’s not even just a scene for him. He likes her so much that it hurts him how she quickly moved on. Slowly, he reached for her legs under the blanket. The staffs are all doing their own tasks that no one is really paying attention to them. 

“What are you doing?” So Hyun looked at him with wide eyes as she tried to move his hand away

“You never let me get too intimate with you. Why?” He asked

“Is that really a question? Stop what you’re trying to do or I’ll scream” She threatened 

“Would you like me to stop? Really? Just know that I can get rid of Rowoon for good. In the end, you’ll just come back to me” He leaned on her ears before going down to kiss her neck

“Oh I like that part! So Hyun-ah, are you ok with it? Let’s keep it in the scene!” The director shouted, not realizing the discomfort of the actress

“What are you trying to do? What are you saying?” So Hyun asked as she tried to push Song Kang away

“I know what your family is now. The other side of your chaebol family” Song Kang said as he grabbed her right hand that’s trying to push him away. He caressed her hand and brought it over his chest. He’s going to enjoy the sensation she gives him at this moment. 

“What are you saying?” So Hyun asked as she tried to pull her hand away

“I was the one who sent the men to kill Rowoon. For someone in charged of their business though, he’s quite skilled in dodging assassins” Song Kang confessed

“You…”

“Alright that’s it!” The director shouted

Manager Shin ran to So Hyun right away and helped her as she get up. Song Kang on the other hand, moved on the side and stared at So Hyun

“Want to talk to me now?” He smirked at her

“So Hyun-ah! Someone arrived to pick you up” The director suddenly called

“Oppa! Rowoon oppa!” A sigh of relief escaped So Hyun’s mouth

“So Hyun-ah?” Song Kang called for her

Rowoon looked at the man in wonder. Where did he get the nerves to act so casual with her after all he did

You don’t scare me” So Hyun said before running to Rowoon and grabbing his hand

“You’ll regret this” Song Kang said

So Hyun just shook her head at him and pulled Rowoon out with her. So Hyun said her farewells to the staffs and headed towards her waiting van.

“This is so frustrating” She shook her head before turning to Rowoon and giving the man a hug

“Do you want to stay for the night here or should we head home?” Rowoon asked as he enveloped her in his arms. He missed her terribly.

So Hyun let go of the hug and looked around them. The filming staffs are all clearing the space out. She also noticed some of their men in their own cars

“Would it be too much if I ask that we head home? There’s something urgent I need to discuss with everyone” So Hyun bit her lower lip as she held on Rowoon’s hands

“Tell me on the way?” Rowoon asked

So Hyun nodded before hugging the man once again. She let his scent fill her. She really missed him and seeing him well gave her a feeling of relief. Especially after what Song Kang just said

“Can we ask someone to drive for us?” She asked Rowoon

“Of course we can” Rowoon said as he gave her back a reassuring pat

“I’ll text everyone and ask if we can meet up” So Hyun said before letting go

“Let’s head home then” Rowoon grabbed her hand and pulled her towards his car

One of their men approached them and got on the driver’s seat. Rowoon helped So Hyun to get in the car before going to the other side. So Hyun looked out and saw Song Kang smirking at her. He can’t possibly do something right? Especially that their family’s men are following them closely

“Young sir, young miss, we’re going now” the driver said

“Please be careful” So Hyun said

“Is Song Kang threatening you?” Rowoon bluntly asked

“He’s threatening me that he’d hurt you. He was the one who sent those men that almost got you killed three weeks ago” So Hyun looked at Rowoon

“Ah he wants me gone so he can be with you? Ridiculous” Rowoon said “But tell me. You didn’t think of going back to him right?” Rowoon looked at her

“Jaeyoon oppa can handle him, but that’s the thing I’m curious about. He knew about our family and what we do. How did he even know that?” 

“We’ll meet everyone in our family home tonight. This is indeed disturbing. Tell me this is the last filming you have with him” Rowoon said

“Fortunately, yes. Apart from drama promotions, I won’t need to see him again”

“Good. I don’t want him near you ever again. He’s a dangerous man from what I see”

“He doesn’t scare me but whoever it is working behind him is what scares me” So Hyun confessed

“We’ll discuss this with everyone. For now, get some sleep” Rowoon put his arms around her and let the girl lean on his shoulder. He kissed the top of her head and closed his eyes, allowing sleep to consume him as well.
