So Hyun was awaken by the phone call from her eldest brother

 

“Oppa?” So Hyun answered in a tired voice

 

“Hey baby girl. I just saw the message in the chat group. You’re in Japan with Rowoon?” Jaeyoon asked 

 

“Yes. Apparently the Samsung heir has so much time in hands and decided to kidnap me to Japan” She smirked

 

“I think it’s good. It’s a perfect time for you to rest, but tell me, did something happen? I don’t see why Rowoon would just take you away like that”

 

“Shouldn’t you be worried that I was kidnapped by a man?” So Hyun joked

 

“Oh please, it’s Rowoon. He would do anything for you. So tell oppa, did someone bother you? What did your boyfriend say about this?” Jaeyoon carefully asked

 

“I…I don’t have a boyfriend anymore oppa. I broke up with him” So Hyun confessed. Memories of last night start to flash in her eyes. She closed her eyes to regain her composure.

 

“May I ask why?”

 

So Hyun was too afraid she’ll confess to Jaeyoon. Despite not spending too much time with them due to the mafia side of their family, she has always felt protected by her eldest brother. She knew if she confessed about what Song Kang did, her brother would definitely do whatever it takes to make him pay. So Hyun does not know much about how the mafia side of their family works, but she knew that if he wanted to, Jaeyoon can make Song Kang disappear. 

 

“Did he hurt you?” Jaeyoon firmly asked

 

“N-no…I don’t really want to talk about it oppa” So Hyun said. 

 

“You know that doesn’t make the cut right? I will definitely look in to this”

 

“Oppa…” So Hyun sighed

 

“You’re our only girl So Hyun. I won’t let it go when someone hurts you” 

 

“H-he didn’t hurt me oppa. I’m ok” She said

 

“I should let you go for now. Go enjoy your day with Rowoon” 

 

“Thank you oppa! I miss you! Let’s go hangout when I come back”

 

“Of course…”

 

So Hyun sighed after hanging up. She covered her face and let tears slide down. Memories of what Song Kang tried to do came flashing before her eyes. She really liked Song Kang, but most of all, she trusted him. Having him touch her, forcefully kiss her, and wanting to take advantage of her made her really regret going out with him. What would have happened if she did not have enough strength to fight Song Kang? What would she have done if Rowoon did not show up? Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. 

 

“I made breakfast” Rowoon said as he entered her room 

 

“Oppa…” She freely let her tears fall. Rowoon rushed to her side and held on her hands that’s covering her face.

 

“Hey. It’s ok. You’re ok. I got you” Rowoon said comfortingly as he brought her hands down to her side and hugged her tight

 

“I feel so stupid oppa” So Hyun cried “I brought this upon myself. I should not have trusted him. I should not have gone to his place that night”

 

“What he did to you is his own actions and does not have anything to do with your decisions. From now on, I don’t want you to go to my place either ok?” Rowoon said

 

“But I love it when I barge in your home” So Hyun pouted

 

“I mean to say, don’t come to my house without me. I don’t want to risk any chances of you seeing him unless you really just let me kick him out”

 

“I really don’t want anymore trouble oppa. I just want to forget him and move on. I want to just focus on my current projects” So Hyun sighed “But oppa, you said you made breakfast?” So Hyun looked at him

 

“You’re suddenly ok because of food?” Rowoon looked at her back

 

“You’re a good cook oppa” She smiled at him

 

“Wash up. I made french toast for you” Rowoon playfully touched the tip of her nose before standing up. 

 

“Oppa…you shouldn’t spoil me. What would your future girlfriend say” So Hyun said before standing up. 

 

“Or you can just get back with me. I promise to cook for you forever” Rowoon winked. 

 

So Hyun looked at Rowoon and smiled. She briefly touched his cheeks before heading to the bathroom. Rowoon stared at her retreating figure and sighed. He touched the left side of his chest and felt his heart beating fast. He meant every single words he said and perhaps he can give it a try. Perhaps he can try to win her heart once again? 

 

Inside the bathroom, So Hyun stared at herself in the mirror. She have asked that question last night. How does it feel like to get back with Rowoon? Yes, Song Kang did make her happy, but Rowoon, he will always have a special place in her heart. But her biggest question now is, can they love again?

“Shouldn’t we call So Hyun for this?” Chani asked his brother. He is currently sitting in his office while reading the news article that just came out. So Hyun’s manager came in to discuss this with the Samsung Executive as well. She knew too well that their family does not like scandals. 

 

BREAKING NEWS: LEE SO HYUN DATING A CELEBRITY?

 

The article goes on to say that she’s been seen going in and out of one of the most private, expensive, apartments in Cheongdam-dong. The said apartment is known to be a place where a lot of celebrities reside, but what the public does know is that one of Samsung’s heirs also lives there. 

 

“Manager Shin, do you know what happened between So Hyun and Song Kang? Our brother just told me that when he phoned her this morning, she said that they broke up already”

 

“She doesn’t really talk about her private matters with me, but just among us, I want to let you know that we really don’t like that actor for her. He tend to really be demanding of her attention without caring about how she feels” Manager Shin answered

 

“I guess we’re all in this together Manager Shin” Dawon commented

 

“What should I say though? I couldn’t contact So Hyun so I had to go here. The agency is demanding that we need to say something soon. Especially there are other celebrities who lives in that apartment” So Hyun’s manager said

 

“Exactly. She can’t really go and say that she’s still together with that Song Kang right?” Chani said

 

“Give me a day Manager Shin. I’ll flyover to Japan and let you know what she says” Dawon said as he stood up

 

“You’re going there now hyung?” Chani asked

 

“I’ll take Jisoo with me too. Maybe we can fish some answers out of So Hyun” Dawon said before grabbing his things “Thank you for talking to us first Manager Shin”

 

“Then I’ll go ahead now…I’ll be waiting for an answer tomorrow” Manager Shin bowed before leaving the room

 

“But hyung, don’t you find it odd that a sudden news about her going in and out of that building was exposed when she just broke up with that actor?” Chani asked his brother

 

“Do you think…”

 

“Well I don’t know, but this is definitely such an odd timing” Chani shook his head “Let me know how my twin is doing hyung. I have to get going now” Chani said

“Really? Dawon oppa and Jisoo unnie is coming here? Then what should we do? Where do we go tonight?” So Hyun excitedly said. The two are currently walking around Harajuku while So Hyun is eating her strawberry cheesecake crepe. Luckily, no one seem to pay attention to them. 

 

“Dawon hyung said he needed to talk to you. Did you leave your phone at home?” Rowoon asked

 

“Well I thought if I am taking time off, then I really need to take time off” So Hyun said before scooping the ice cream on the crepe and feeding it to Rowoon. 

 

“You’re still such a messy eater” Rowoon laughed before wiping the cream off her the side of her lips

 

“This is really good oppa! So thank you for the treat!” She beamed

 

“Should I make some sushi for us tonight then? I think it’ll be better if we’re just in the comfort of home” Rowoon suggested

 

“I feel like I’m being spoiled too much. You already let me stay in your penthouse oppa and now you’d be making dinner for me and my brother” 

 

“Then just stay by my side. I’ll spoil you as much as you want” Rowoon said before walking ahead of her

 

“Then can I choose the ingredients for the sushi tonight?” So Hyun ran after him

 

“I swear you only stick with me because of food” Rowoon laughed

 

“You promise to spoil me oppa!” So Hyun said before hooking arms with him

 

“Then stick by my side forever ex girlfriend” Rowoon laughed

 

“Maybe I should” So Hyun laughed. 

 

“That’s it. Keep smiling So Hyun” Rowoon thought as he lead the two of them to the market

“Uh oh. Now I think I know why my brother is flying here” So Hyun said after checking her phone. The two are now back in the penthouse. Rowoon was organizing the groceries they bought while So Hyun checks on her emails

 

“Why?” Rowoon asked 

 

“News is spreading that I’m dating someone right now. Someone apparently took photos of me going in and out of your apartment building. Kind of irrelevant now though. I already broke up with Song Kang” So Hyun said. Rowoon checked on his phone and saw Hwiyoung text him about the scandal as well. 

 

“News is spreading that I’m dating either Song Kang, Park Seojoon, or Park Bogum. Apparently news outlets have different theories but they are mostly leaning towards Song Kang. I should say tabloids are good at spying on us” So Hyun sighed. She went over few more messages and saw one from Song Kang. He was asking her how they should address the news and whether they should just admit it.

 

“You know what oppa? At first I was ashamed and angry at myself for what happened, but now I think I’m just angry at him” So Hyun showed Song Kang’s message to Rowoon

 

“My offer still stands. I can kick him out of the building” Rowoon said “Tell him there’s nothing to admit and that you both are over” Rowoon firmly said

 

“I was thinking of just blocking his number actually” So Hyun said

 

“That’s better” Rowoon said while preparing to cut the sashimi they bought from the market earlier.

 

“So will you spill it or not?” Jisoo suddenly came in to the kitchen

 

“Unnie!” So Hyun ran to the girl and gave her a quick hug

 

“Hello dear sister, your older brother is here too” Dawon said

 

“Hello oppa” So Hyun quickly gave Dawon a hug

 

“Are you making sushi for us?” Jisoo asked as she walked to Rowoon

 

“Hello dear girlfriend? We’re here with a mission”

 

“Oh yes! So are you spilling or not?” Jisoo turned back to So Hyun

 

“What is this that we heard that you broke up with Song Kang?” Dawon asked

 

“I did. Last night” So Hyun answered

 

“Is that why Rowoon flew you to Japan?” Dawon asked “Did that stupid actor do something to you?” 

 

“Oppa…I…”

 

“Hyung. It’s over between them. Stop asking her about that guy” Rowoon answered

 

“Ok I take it that Rowoon has everything under control, but dear sister, how would you like to answer the scandal?” Dawon asked

 

“To be honest oppa, I don’t want anything to do with Song Kang. I don’t want to talk about our past either” So Hyun honestly answered

 

“So do you want to call your dear friend Seo Joon or Bo Gum to ask if you’re dating any of them? I mean we can’t really say you were visiting any of your female friends since let’s face it, who would visit their friend at midnight?” 

 

“Oppa, I’m not really close with Park Seo Joon. Bogummie is in military right now” So Hyun pouted. Clearly troubled on what excuse to make

 

“You’re forgetting someone else who lives in that building” Rowoon suddenly said

 

“Don’t tell me you’re talking about yourself” Jisoo said

 

“What? Noona I do live there” Rowoon answered

 

“You want to say that you’re the one she’s dating?” Dawon asked

 

“I’d rather say it’s me she’s dating than say she dated or is dating Song Kang” Rowoon firmly answered

 

“You know you are her ex boyfriend right?”

 

“Even better. We can tell them that we were once together, broke up and then came back together” Rowoon said

 

“Oppa this will mean that people will know about you. Your family, who you are…” So Hyun said “I can’t bring you to this world. This is exactly what you didn’t like when I first told you I wanted to be an actress” 

 

“Maybe I’m ok with it now” Rowoon shrugged his shoulder

 

Dawon and Jisoo are both looking at their siblings in wonder. Why does it sound like a couple arguing.

 

“Rowon oppa…”. So Hyun sighed

 

“Perfect!” Rowoon washed his hands “Let me call my secretary and release a statement. Let’s say we were dating again for 7 months? Not like Song Kang can say something after I release a statement” Rowoon took his phone and walked to the living room 

 

“Oppa wait!”

 

“I’m doing this for my favorite ex girlfriend”

 

“Favorite ex girlfriend? I was your only girlfriend!” So Hyun answered as she followed him. Leaving Dawon and Jisoo alone in the kitchen

 

“Were those two just flirting in front of us? Their older siblings?” Dawon shook his head

 

“I don’t think we were needed to fly here Dawon-ah” Jisoo said
