"Baaabe!" Donghae stumbles into the apartment. "Honeybunny!"

Hyukjae's sprawled across the sofa. He has his phone with him. He looks up from it. Donghae rushes to him. Lifts Hyukjae's legs. Sits. Drops his legs over himself.

"Sungmin just showed me! Did you see?"

Hyukjae's lips slowly smile. "Mm."

"You like what they wrote this time? Did you see them call you honey? Because of your hair?"

Hyukjae chuckles. He blushes. His cheeks look pinker. His lips, too. Donghae leans over. Smooches them.

"You like it, right? It was better, wasn't it?"

"Well, obviously," Hyukjae says. Huffs. He's back to pouting. "Obviously, I'm gonna be amazing! Gorgeous! With my natural hair or honey blond or strawberry blond -- what did they expect? I made the Lee Donghae fall in love with me!"

Donghae laughs. He has to move over Hyukjae. Snake his arms around him. Hug and kiss Hyukjae hard.

"You did. I love you so much."

"You should love me. I'm your husband."

Donghae's heart fills. His eyes do too. He presses more kisses on his lips.

"Hae?" Hyukjae cups his face. Worriedly. "Baby, I'm--I'm just kidding... I love you too..."

Donghae smiles. Sniffs. Buries his face into his chest.

"Obviously," Donghae mumbles. "You better love me. I'm your hotbun superstar husband."

It happened on a Friday night... three weeks ago.

Yesung's mother wanted to celebrate her son's birthday. With the family. Close friends. It was hard to find what worked for everyone. After a lot of questions... they decided on Friday. Two days after Yesung's actual birthday.

Hyukjae promised he'd be there. There was no way he'd miss it. No way Donghae would, either. KRY minus D had been spending time together. For work. Fanmeets. Programs.  Donghae needed to join them for this.

If it made a difference or not... everyone needed to know:

KRYD are close as ever.

Donghae had filming that day though. He plays Han Siwoo. For a thriller drama. Hyukjae's so excited for it. But that didn't mean his husband should miss Yesung's birthday party.

Hyukjae had helped the family set up. It was at Mouse Rabbit. Then he'd gone to get dressed. He threw a massive hoodie over his clothes. Put up his hood. He took a change of clothes for Donghae. Then joined Sungmin. To pick up Donghae.

He waited in the car. Hyukjae was so worried. About whether they'll make it on time. He was texting everyone. To apologize. To just wait a little more for them.

When he finally saw Donghae... he opened the door. Stepped out. Shouted for him. Waved high so Donghae would see them. Would hurry.

He'd forgotten, in that moment. It was a filming location. There were many others waiting around.

Someone snapped a dozen photos of him.

Yesung's birthday party was great. They all had a wonderful time. Everyone posted pictures. The family. Friends. KRY. Donghae.

But among all those posts... there were other pictures online too. Articles came out.

Donghae saw them first. Because Sungmin showed him. He'd come home then too. To find Hyukjae. There was a surprised excitement on him. It had confused Hyukjae.

"Honeybun, d-don't freak out, okay, but someone saw you, us, and took pictures -- no, don't panic! It's not bad! Look, they're cute pictures and... most people are saying nice things!"

Donghae's husband seen waiting to pick him up after a long day of shooting. Both rushed to attend KRY Yesung's birthday party with other members and family.

They were... cute pictures. Kind of. They showed Hyukjae near the car. Then with Donghae. Most of the comments... were okay.

"He looks so happy to spot Donghae!"

Obviously. That's his husband.

"This is the man Donghae left the group for? Well, he is pretty, I suppose."

What the...?

"Oh, he's not bad looking... I always wondered what kind of person he was..."

What the ?

"I wish Donghae's happy with him. He should take good care of Donghae. His husband's missing a successful group's activities because of this secret marriage."

What the ? User YeKyu69694ever clearly didn't know .

"He is surprisingly goodlooking, yes... I saw those pictures on the beach and I felt like he's vain and cold. Donghae is so handsome and softhearted. I was worried. They look okay together her

Chapter 19: Re-reading this for the third time and just realised that I don't know the whole love story of donghae and eunhyuk . It would be great if u can give us bonus chapter of that, if it's too much then it's fine like this also.
Ps:- in case I had missed the part of there love story it would be great if anyone can tell me how it happened.

Chapter 69: 🥺🥺 this is why ppl should take time to think and be mindful of other ppl's feelings before throwing out words or doing things. Because once words are spoken and actions were done, it'll be very hard to take them back and undo the damage you've caused.
I know Jaemin wants to correct his mistakes, but the damage has been done. And it's not that easy to forgive because they were hurt emotionally and even lost their jobs 🥺

I hope fans will know this and reflect on themselves. Our idols are humans too. They can get hurt with our words and actions. If we really love and support them, respect them and their decisions, because no amount of money you spent on them can make you own them. They do not owe you anything either.

Chapter 69: Ok somehow it's cute how naive Jaymin is. Thinking that he can make things right when he is now supporting his favorite idol with their real life partner. But I also can understand Donghae's frustration and anger. The damage was done in the past and unfortunately it's hard to make the community forget. It's not like in a fairytale where a fairy godmother appears, swinging her wand and everything is fine again. I think kids like Jaymin need to understand that. But I'm glad he's trying and regards his former opinion about the whole situation. Unfortunately he's only one in a million of so many haters. I can feel that Hae has a hard time to trust that kid now, but Hyukkie is trying to give him another chance. Let's see where this will lead them to. Thank you for another new bonus ❤️

Chapter 69: Hae can't just easily forget how those nasty comments ha affected them especially hyuk. The last part kinda hurts because yes, they accepted what happened in the past but thinking all of those just hurts.

Fortunately these two were strong to go through all of these. Now that they've finally moved on from it comes a reminder of those moments. But I guess Jaymin really had changed; the fact that he wanted to correct his wrongs.

We really have to careful w the words we say because we may forget them in the long run but for those affected they will always remember it.

Chapter 69: These bonuses are so good. You have this great ability to perfectly describe the essence of an issue or situation. Your characters and dialogues feel vibrant and real. Good job, author 💙

Chapter 69: He's right. At this point there's no going back to before, even if there was a big shift in fans' attitudes and they started treating them, or idols in general, better. It doesn't erase what they've been through, and Donghae obviously doesn't want to fight to return to that world. At least not now. Seems he'd rather just move on, and no amount of positive, supportive articles or any other press will change that.

If he's not interested in returning to the spotlight and all the hardships that would mean for him and Hyuk, it's almost better to ignore any of those gossipy editorials, good or bad. It's basically irrelevant what people think or say now. Let what happened be a lesson to these enlightened fans, so that they educate other fans to not do the same again and make other idols leave the industry unfairly. But everyone just needs to move on, and let them live their lives happily and how they want now.

Chapter 69: I really like how you're having Donghae be just plain angry. I can't blame him. And expecting celebrities to always take it with a smile when fans mistreat them is absurd, but somehow we do expect that.

Chapter 69: I really feel Donghae's hurt for what they had to go through especially Hyukjae. If only these fans respected them as real persons with feelings.
