Donghae's not used to it. The blonde hair. Yet. Especially in the mornings. When he wakes up. If Hyukjae's not facing him. Like now.

But he always remembers quickly. Smiles. Snuggles closer. Buries his nose into the soft strands. 

Hyukjae says a g'morning. Donghae places a kiss on his nape. Hugs his warm body.

"Let's stay in bed for a while..." Donghae says. his skin.

Hyukjae moves. Turns to him. Donghae's heart skips. Seeing his face. The full plump lips. The eyes filled with sleep. Under the blonde strands now.

"You're beautiful," Donghae says. Pecks his lips.

Hyukjae smiles. Ducks his head into his neck.

He suddenly bleached his hair. Donghae was surprised. He saw it. Getting lighter. Lighter. Leading to the day before their flight. To what it is now.

Hyukjae said... it's because he isn't working...

It catches attention. For someone who likes to hide... and right when he's travelling with Donghae... it is strange to go blonde.

Donghae's tried. To not worry. Because he's with Hyukjae. They're supposed to enjoy their time. Hyukjae will notice it too. If he's not fully present.

But he can't help and think sometimes... of how Hyukjae's behaving...

It makes his chest hurts.

Hyukjae's trying to make it up to him. Feeling that he really upset Donghae that day. Donghae has been slightly upset. But not because of Hyukjae. Or his reaction. It's just... the matter itself. That it would cause this pain for them.

Hyukjae must've felt horrible. In the three hours. That Donghae was gone. He really is trying hard. For Donghae. It's making Donghae emotional.

It was most obvious... on the day they arrived.

After going through the airports. Anxious about being seen. Recognized. They'd made it to this inn.

Donghae made sure to find something small. More private. He was able to book one of the little cottages they offered. It was stocked. Prepared for them.

Hyukjae was happy. In love with it. He'd seemed relieved.

They have a view of the ocean here. The gardens around. They're minutes from the inn too. For food and service. Donghae had been eager. To show Hyukjae everything surrounding them. That day they arrived.

But Hyukjae couldn't. He didn't say... he couldn't. Donghae had realized too late. That breath of relief... wasn't just for the private place. It was that... they were finally inside.

Hyukjae had wrapped his arms around him. Whispered in his ear. Dragged him to bed. They'd spent the rest of that day making love.

Donghae was concerned... if Hyukjae would find some excuse. To not go out. The next morning. He'd wanted Hyukjae to tell him. So they could talk. He looked so apprehensive.
