Donghae spends the morning sleeping. He wakes up at noon. But it doesn't matter. His husband's not around. He's not losing anything important. Just catching up on sleep.

He sits down for his coffee. Still yawning. He smiles. Checking his phone. 

Hyukjae's always happy. Whenever Donghae's able to rest longer at home.

There are cute messages. Reminding Donghae to eat. But one... apologizing too. For not having time. To make Donghae breakfast.

Donghae frowns. If Hyukjae's running late to work... then it's because he keeps trying to stay up for Donghae.

He's heard him sleep through his alarm. A number of times the past few months.

Donghae texts, "Babe, it's okay."

He keeps telling Hyukjae to sleep on time. To not wait up for him. But the man does it anyway.

"I love you, Hyukjae."

Donghae gets to go home early. Much earlier than usual. A lot of his scenes are finished. They're in the last few weeks now.

He'd found the director too demanding. Too strict. At first. But now he's glad. They'll be done in time. A bit earlier even. He heard there were reshoots starting. But only to make sure there's enough extra footage. It will also give them time to refilm any parts. Before they are required to close the set. Return the costumes. 

This also means... he can plan something. For their anniversary. Not worry about missing it due to schedules. Sungmin and s know. So he's not worried about any conflicts there

He's also very happy today. To surprise Hyukjae. For being home earlier.

"Baby?" he calls.

But as he goes around the house... he doesn't see a sign of him.

He must've left. Not expecting Donghae until late hours of night. Donghae should've told him. Hyukjae would have been excited. He would've stayed home.

Donghae drops on the bed.

"What kind of sister are you?" Hyukjae says. "Telling me to get lost..."

"You're only here for Choco."

Hyukjae pecks Choco's head. Keeps hugging her. "Well, yeah. She's the only one who loves me..."

He hears Sora groan. Mutter something about him being stupid.
