"Honeybun... how do I work like this?"

His husband answers. Between his shoulder blades. "Mnotdoinanything..."

Not doing anything? He's clinging to him from behind. While Donghae's trying to make a smoothie.

Donghae shuffles. Grabbing what he needs in the kitchen. Hyukjae shuffles with him. Arms wrapped tight. Cheek pressed into his back.

Hyukjae was on the phone earlier. A few times through the day actually. He slipped away to talk. But smiled later. Told Donghae it was nothing.

"Okay, maybe you can help instead," Donghae says. He closes the blender. Takes Hyukjae's hand from his stomach. Uses it to poke the blender on.

"The berries make it look delicious," Hyukjae says. Over his shoulder. The noise of the blender. "But I know better."

"Have some with me, Hyukkie."

"No."

"Baby..."

"No."

"You're having some."

"No, I'm not."

"You are," Donghae sings. He stops the blender. Shuffles to the side. Grabs two glasses.

"Hae, I said I don't want it!"

"You do. Why else are you still stuck to me then?"

The arms leave him. Hyukjae goes to throw himself on the couch. Hides his face. Maybe worried. That Donghae will try making him drink some.

He would've.

"Mmm," Donghae says. Takes another long sip. "It's good, Hyukkie. It's sweet."

"Your sweet isn't even sweet!"

Donghae snorts. Hyukjae would turn it into syrup. Honey. That's his kind of sweet.

Donghae has phonecalls too. He goes into his music room. Speaks to Yesung. The group. Sungmin. The company. Not too much about himself. Or Hyukjae. But about something else.

They tell him... they'll discuss it with Yesung. Donghae calls Yesung again. 

"Sorry, I don't want to make you rush it..."

"No, we have enough for a mini-album. Let me post something that would obviously be a hint to fans. It'll get some of them to focus on that instead."

"Okay... Yesung, is it... bad?"

"I haven't actually searched it up... if it gets very bad, we'll hear about it. You know they'll... force us to listen to whatever they want to tell us..."

"Yeah..."

"Do you want us to say anything? Kyu was asking..."

"I know, Wook asked me too. But no, don't..."

"Hm. Okay. How's he doing? He sounded better than you when I spoke to him..."

"Yeah?" Donghae says. Smiles. "That's good... I don't know if he's just trying to make me feel better."

"You'll both be okay, Hae. We're all with you. We can talk to him too, if you think he's getting worried about you or the group..."

"Thank you..."
