"Put your head here."

Donghae's got a soft pillow in his lap. Hyukjae shifts onto it. His tired eyes gaze up at him.

"Is that supposed to help?" he says.

"It doesn't?" Donghae says.

Hyukjae's eyes close. "It's the same..."

"Oh. But this way, I can massage your head, honeybun."

He gently brushes Hyukjae's hair. Presses his fingers on his temples. Smooths his forehead.

"Is it doing anything?" Donghae asks.

Hyukjae's face remains the same. Eyes closed. Brows slightly knitted. Donghae slides his thumbs across them.

"No..." Hyukjae whispers. "But... I like it... thanks..."

Donghae smiles. He carefully bends. Manages to place a kiss. On Hyukjae's lips.

"My sweet baby..." Donghae murmurs. Continues Hyukjae's forehead. His temples. "I think you need to rest..."

Or stop being sad and stressed...

"I do that..." Hyukjae mumbles. Stays with his head in his lap.

This is not the type of care Donghae likes. He prefers... drunk Hyukjae. Because he's adorable and funny. Hyukjae after . When he gets so whiny and needy. Another favourite one... which Donghae doesn't know if he'll ever experience again... is when Hyukjae's team would lose. He'd get grumpy. Pouty. Perfect to annoy with kisses. Donghae enjoys that so much.

But Hyukjae in pain... that's not enjoyable. He feels so bad for his husband. He can't do much. Hyukjae also doesn't get headaches often. He doesn't know how to deal with them. Or know what would've caused one. Donghae knows his own headaches. Knows his remedies. But he's at a loss now.

Hyukjae doesn't have any other symptoms. Which may be good. It's just the headache. Donghae knows it's terrible. Hyukjae had scrunched his face. When he stood up from the chair. He asked Donghae for a painkiller. Gulped down water. Slowly crawled into bed.

It's the middle of the day too. Hyukjae said he felt strange. In the morning. A bit foggy. But he'd thought it was nothing. Just from waking up.

"Next time you feel like that..." Donghae says. Soft. "Take a painkiller first. It might help it from getting like this."

"Okay..." Hyukjae looks up at him. "Sorry... I didn't know..."

Donghae reaches to take his hand. From his chest. Brings it to his lips for a kiss.

"I hope it gets better soon, baby," Donghae says. He pecks Hyukjae's hand again. Places it back on Hyukjae's chest. Keeps caressing him. His forehead. His eyebrows. His closed lids. "Sleep if you can, okay? I'll be right here."

Donghae realizes... he can feel grateful. For this. Being able to stay. With his husband's head in his lap. Even if Donghae's unable to relieve his pain.

He wouldn't feel good. If Hyukjae had to be alone.

So that's great. It's another advantage. To being jobless.

Hyukjae feels himself... dozing off...

It's their third month. In their new apartment.

They'd decided to move. It's not a big move. Just out of their old building. To another one. Smaller. They're actually close to Donghae's mother now. His brother too.

The month prior to moving... Hyukjae busied himself. He'd wake up to clean. Pack. Organize boxes. Label things. He liked having that to do.

Donghae's post had stayed up a week. After that... he took it down. The comments had gotten out of hand.

The fans did exactly as expected. Hyukjae tried not to look. But both of them... had to know. What was going on about them. He knew Donghae read. Donghae knew he read. Hyukjae also had his secret KRYD account. For fanboying. That got too depressing. To open. 

Having something to do... like packing every single thing neatly into boxes. Closing it. That... helped.

But even as he'd worked... their words would play in his head. They called Donghae selfish. Ungrateful. There were long emotional posts. About their love never being returned. How the money they had spent on Donghae. Gave towards
