"Hyukjae..." Donghae says.

"Hm?" Hyukjae's almost asleep.

"Yes," Donghae says. "Three years, Hyukjae... wow. And then... five years and... six months of being together?"

Hyukjae smiles. "I don't think you're supposed to count from the time you get interested in someone, babe..."

"No? But we talked..."

"Not really, Hae..."

"I talked to you."

"And I panicked."

Donghae chuckles. Turns to him in bed. "Then what do you count it from?"

"When I asked if you'd be considered my boyfriend and you said, what the hell did you think I was doing with you?" Hyukjae laughs quietly.

"What? Not when I told you I liked you?"

"That's not... being in a relationship, Hae..."

"Okay, fine! Then why not our first kiss?"

Hyukjae opens both eyes. "At the Christmas party? Why would I count it from that?"

"Because it meant something and it was important and I knew then I wanted to kiss you for the rest of my life--"
