I was up since dawn in the morning; my nightmare of failing my music exam woke me. After that, I could not settle and fall back into sleep, so I lay awake on my bed till the sun rose.

It did not help that Wheein was not around; I’ve searched for her in the classroom, along the stretches of lockers, near the toilet, out in the quadrangle; she was just missing.

I glanced at my watch. 15 minutes to it.

Sighing, I quickened my pace to reach the examination venue. Fumbling about for my pencil in my bag, my fingers unintentionally grasped onto a small note. I pulled it out and unfolded the paper, a smile making its way to my lips as I read it.
