My eyes were on Keres. For the past hour, he had been sighing and throwing random objects at his table partner. Judging by how his eyes trailed across the class to find a victim to pick on, I knew I was going to be a target. It did not help that it was Miss Venus’s lesson.

"Class, who knows the answer to this question?" Miss Venus’s boring voice drawled. Keres let out a purposeful groan.
