Soojin's POV

Three months of living with silence gave me fears about things I cannot hear. The defeaning silence of being trapped inside your body without hearing anything around you and the silent death of my parents made me want to vanish in this world. But someone helped me coped up. Shuhua. She stayed with me during the hardest time of my life, my bestfriend, my secret love.

One week after getting my hearing back, Shuhua decided to still stay with me. She said that she will not be able to sleep thinking that I'm alone. Her thoughtfulness is the greatest reason why I fell for her.

I look at her peaceful face while sleeping. It's already past twelve yet I'm still perfectly awake. My mind travels back to some moments when I'm still unable to hear.

The first month was the hardest for me but with some practice and patience, I managed to learned how to read the lips of someone who's talking to me.
