Officer Choi was observing the famous detective clean her desk and organize the room she had been using as her office during the whole investigation and he didn't know how to approach the issue without being disrespectful.

__ Say it, boy. What is bothering you so much that you keep acting like a feline near its prey?__ Moonbyul asked with a hint of a sense of humor in her voice.

__ Ma'am..I'm sorry but I don't get it....

__ What is it that you don't get?___ The brunette sat and faced the young officer.

__You came to the city and made a revolution. Thanks to you, there is so much in the right place now. A huge scandal was revealed. Yet, the murder of Mr. Kan remains unsolved.

__ Your point?

Squeezing his hands, Choi bit his lips and finally, spit it out:

__ There is no way a professional like you couldn't crack the mystery. Why would you ask me to close that bar and talk to those women if there was nothing there?

Moonbyul had a sad face when she responded to the young professional:

__ Choi, nobody is perfect. Every cop will fail at one point in their lives. You should keep that in mind. For weeks, I talked to many people.  In some cases, those talks were useful and in others, they weren't. By the end of the day, the truth is very limited. Your truth may not be your neighbor's. There is also a huge difference between what you will be sure of and what you may prove. Anyway, it was a pleasure working with you. A nice surprise, actually. I hope you keep this way. Don't let your colleagues change you.

Choi felt a little depressed by those words. Besides learning many with that woman in such a short time, the young policeman was aware of all her struggles in that ist society.

Seeing that the young officer couldn't look up, Moonbyul stood up and patted his back.

__ Yes, ma'am. Good luck too. Please remain healthy and focused.__ The boy was getting emotional.

__ Okay, enough of this greasiness. I gotta go.__ The dark-haired woman picked up her things and gave the cop a last smile.

When Moonbyul was at the door, Choi questioned:

__ Do you think that this will affect your reputation, ma'am?

After taking the question into consideration, the detective shrugged and declared:

__ It might, for some people. Not from my bosses' point of view though. Although the whole corruption and ion case was just an accident during my investigation, the final result was way bigger than expected. As Mr. Kan had connections to so many important peop
