“Eh? Who are you? How did you know my name?” I asked these men who are in front our unit 

“Rein-chan, what’s the matter?” asked Satomi as she and Chiaki went near us when they heard what these men told me 

“Fukuyama-sama, we are instructed to fetch you. Master is waiting for you.” said one of the men 

“What on earth did you called me? Fukuyama-SAMA?! And, Master?! You're confusing me and you want me to go with you?!” I told them as I am really confused right now.  

“I am sorry, Fukuyama-sama, but we are not in the position to answer your questions. We are just sent here to fetch you. Please, come with us.” said one of the men. My gut feelings are telling me that these men here are not bad people. So far, my gut feelings never let me down. If ever things come to worst and these guys here did something nasty, I won’t hold myself back and fight with them. 

“Mi-chan, Chi-chan, I’ll just gotta go with these guys. I'll be back later.” I told Satomi and Chiaki who looks worried 

“Wakatta. Take care, Rein-chan.” Satomi said and I went out together with those guys 

“Will she be alright?” asked Chiaki 

“Daijoubu, you know what Rein is capable of, ne? Besides, I profiled those guys and I believe they are not bad guys at all.” said Satomi 

 

I followed these men and my eyes almost popped out of my eye socket when I saw where we will ride. In front of me is a dashing limousine! It is a freaking limo! I used to just clean cars like this before but never in my wildest dreams did I thought of riding one! The person these guys are working for must be crazy rich! 

 

I went inside the limo and oh boy, is it spacious here. This is much spacious than my previous unit before. The seat is also comfy that I want to lay down. Geez Rein, what the hell are you thinking? You're enjoying this luxurious ride you’re in. Be careful on your movements or you might get the seat cover dirty. You cannot afford to pay for that. 

 

The limo took off and now we are approaching a drive way that has a lot of bushes with lots of flowers as if welcoming the guests as they drive in. There’s a pavilion at the left side and there’s a pond beside it. At the center is a big fountain and the house, no, the mansion is so huge! I've only seen that kind of mansion in tv, I haven’t thought that I will be able to see one in person! This is so crazy! I cannot believe I will enter this kind of mansion! 

 

The limo stopped just right in front of the staircase which leads to the grand entrance of the mansion. One of the men opened the door for me and escorted me inside. If the outside of the mansion is already fascinating, the inside is much, much more amusing! There's a massive staircase at the center of the mansion and the enormous and bright chandeliers that hangs at the high ceiling will welcome you upon entering. There are also big classical portraits that hangs at the walls. Is this a mansion or a museum or a royal hall?! I felt that I was literally having my jaw dropped as I look around. With my look right now, I don’t fit here. I mean, just look at me! I’m wearing my ragged cap, loose pullover and loose pants and my ragged snickers which I all bought from a thrift shop. My thoughts of chain were broken when one of the men lead me into one of the rooms. As I enter, leather sofas welcomed me, there are a lot of bookshelves at the side and behind those leather sofas is an office table. The windows are also massive that it made the room bright due to the sunlight entering from it. The man left me and soon after he left, the office chair in front turned to me and I saw an old man looking at me, smiling. 

 

“Rein. You're finally here.” the old man spoke. He got smiling eyes and his smile is so warm. I don’t know what to do. Should I bow down to him? He has a regal aura which made me want to bow at him. 

“A..anoo..” is all I could utter 

“The sudden arrival of my men at your house must’ve startled you. I'm sorry about that.” he continued 

“Sir, what am I doing here? What do you want from me?” I finally able to speak up my mind 

“Please have a seat first, Rein.” the old man stood up from his office chair and walked towards the sofa. I obeyed what he told me and gently sit at the sofa, so careful that I won’t be able to scratch the sofa. The old man took a seat as well. 

“I know this is all sudden for you but, I am your grandfather.” the old man said which made me questioned what I just heard 

“Ha?” is all I could say as I tried to digest what he had said. 

“i know this surprised you Rein.” he said 

“I..I don’t know. I mean, all my life, I thought I don’t have any relatives. Then now I will know that I still have a grandfather?” I said as I hold onto my head 

“Rein...” he uttered 

“I am so sorry sir, but this is too much for me. I mean, what happened before? All I know is that my mother died in a car accident while she was protecting me that’s how I managed to be alive during that accident.” I said 

“My son got your mother pregnant when they were still teenagers. The parents of your mother were against their relationship and was enraged when they knew about the pregnancy. They took your mother away from my son. Your mother kept you despite her parents wanting her to have an abortion. After she gave birth, your mother managed to contact my son and they planned to meet and go far away. It was raining hard the night they were about to meet, my son kept on waiting at their meeting place but your mother never make it. My son thought that your mother backed out of their plan only to realize the next day that a car accident took place at the route where your mother and you took to get to their meeting place. We went to the scene of the accident and my son was very devastated when he saw your mother lifeless. We never found a baby at the scene of the accident which made us thought that you’re still alive and maybe someone rescued you from the accident. That's when we started to look for you. It was so hard because we don’t know where to start. But we didn’t give up, until we reached one of the former members of the person who took care of you, and he confirmed what happened 17 years ago so we finally got our concrete lead towards you.” the old man told me the missing piece of my story, “I’m so sorry Rein that it took us this long to find you. You must’ve had a hard time when you live on your own after the person who took care of you died.” he continued as he holds my hand, I can feel the sincerity in his apology 

“So that’s what happened. I still can’t believe what I'm hearing right now. This is so surreal for me. I didn’t know I still have relatives left.” I said as tears form in my eyes 

“I’m so sorry Rein. I promise, we will make it up to you the years that we were not beside you.” the old man said in a gentle voice which calms my heart and took away all my anxiety. My gut feels are telling me that he is a kind guy and he is sincere to what he told me. I just nod as a response. 

“Now that we finally found you, I want you to stay in this household from now on.” he smiled at me 

“Ehh?! You mean here? Like right here, in this place which looks like a museum and a royal hall?!” I asked in wide eyed 

“Hai. This place which you’re saying is a museum and royal hall is your home, Rein.” the old guy chuckles 

“Am I dreaming? A person like me will get to live at a grand place like this?!” I said while pinching my cheeks 

“You are not dreaming my dear Rein. What you see here, these are all yours ne.” he said 

“Ehh?!” I said in wide eyes which made him chuckle 

“Anoo sir. I still can’t believe what you’re telling me ne. Demo, you said I have to live here? Well you see, I am living with these two persons who I considered my family. I don’t want to leave them.” I told the old man 

“First, please call me ojiisan, grandpa, or whatever you’re comfortable of calling me ne. You're my granddaughter after all. And second, I thought you might say that, that’s why, please bring them here.” he said and I was surprised when I saw Satomi and Chiaki went inside 

“Mi-chan?! Chi-chan?! You’re here!” I exclaimed in happiness as I went near them and hugged them 

“Hai. These men fetched us after you went out. This is a huge mansion, Rein-chan!” said Satomi as she and Chiaki noticed my grandfather and bowed at him 

“No need to be so formal, ladies. My granddaughter considers you as her family so I want you to feel at home.” smiled my grandfather at them 

“Ehh? Granddaughter?” uttered Satomi 

“Hai Mi-chan. Apparently, he is my grandfather and they managed to look for me that’s why we’re here. I told him that I cannot leave you two so he agreed for the both of you to stay here as well.” I happily told Satomi 

“Ehh?!” said Satomi and Chiaki in perfect sync 

“Hai, if that’s what my granddaughter wants, then I am happy to grant it.” my grandfather smiled warmly 

“A..arigatou sir. That is so kind of you.” bowed Satomi and Chiaki 

“No need to thank me, I should be the one to thank the both of you for looking after my granddaughter.” he said 

 

“By the way Rein, before I forgot, not only this household belongs to you.” my grandfather turned to me 

“Ehh?” I tilted my head in confusion 

“Rein, you will become the heiress of my company.” my grandfather said and those words rang inside my head 

 

[END OF FLASHBACK] 

 

"Na..nani?!” I said in wide eyes. Really, I had lots of surprises today. 

“Yes, I want you to take over my company. I am not getting any younger and you’re my granddaughter so I want you to take over my company after me.” said my grandpa 

“Woah, woah, wait. I know that I am your granddaughter but what do I know in handling business? I can’t even manage my small budget for myself and here you are telling me that you want me to manage something big as a company?!” I said in full shock which earned a chuckle at my grandpa 

“I get what you’re saying Rein, so don’t worry, I won’t let you go in a war without the right gears and weapons. Starting tomorrow, you will be taught of the things you need to know in managing a company. I will also enroll you three in the school which trains high school students who will take after a company and for those who are future businessmen and women.” Grandpa said which made my jaw dropped 

“I won’t let you take over the company until you’re 18 years old, Rein. You still have plenty of time to train and study. Also, I got you someone who will help and assist you. Please come in.” grandpa said as a skinny guy with black hair and pale skin went inside and bows at my grandpa. 

“This is Inoo Kei, he is like my grandson since his grandfather and I are best friends and he told me that once I found my granddaughter, he is willing to help and be your bodyguard.” grandpa explained 

“Ehh? Bodyguard?” I tilted my head at the side 

“I know you can take care of yourself Rein, and that you learned a lot in the Yakuza clan, but for my peace of mind, I want you to have your personal bodyguard. I don’t want to lose you again my dear granddaughter.” grandpa said which made me speechless 

“Kei, will you please tour Rein around the household and have our maids prepare a warm bath for her and her friends so they can prepare for dinner later.” instructed grandpa which 

“Ikouzo.” said that Kei guy in his ever cold tone 

“Satomi, Chiaki, please stay here for a while.” said grandpa as I looked at both Satomi and Chiaki who both nodded at me as if telling me it’s alright. I then went outside with Kei 

 

“Again, thank you for looking after Rein all the while that you’re with her.” said Rein’s grandpa 

“She saved us when we were in trouble. We owe a lot to Rein.” said Satomi 

“I hope you didn’t mind that I got a background check of the both of you, so it’s not a secret to me that you came from a well-off family. I know your capabilities especially when we talk about business as both of you were former enrolled to the school I was telling to Rein a while ago. That is why I need your help. Please look after Rein and guide her as she undergoes her training. Please.” said Rein’s grandfather 

“It will be our pleasure to help Rein with all that we can, Sir.” said Satomi 

 

Meanwhile, as Kei is touring Rein at the household. 

 

“Flies might enter your mouth since it’s been opened since a while ago.” said Kei in a cold tone 

“Ehh? Oh.” I went back to reality when I heard this guy spoke 

“Still can’t believe it?” Kei said 

“Hai.” I said as I looked around and was really fascinated at the whole household. I can skate here without crashing on anything because of the spacious backyard they have 

“I know this is too sudden for you but I want you to get yourself together. As what Yuuji-san said, you will take over the company and that is not easy as riding a skateboard, you will undergo a lot of training so you have to prepare yourself.” said Kei in his ever cold tone 

Woah, this guy has attitude eh! Is he telling me that I cannot handle the pressure of becoming the heiress of the company?! Ha! He didn’t know who he is talking to. There is nothing that Fukuyama Rein cannot do! I'll rub that in your face Mr. Ice Guy! 

“What? Why are you just staring at me? Did you swallowed your tongue?” said Kei as he raises a brow at me 

“Betsuni. I’m just thinking how I can rub it at your face when I became successful in taking over the company.” I said with a smug look at my face 

“Too much blabbing. There's a lot of polishing that needs to be done to you. First is your get up.” he said as I saw him scanning me from head to toe as if disgusted by my look 

“Oi! What are you looking at?! It's your first time seeing this get up?! I got this deal from the thrift shop for only 150 yen!” I shouted and was surprised to see that he is on his way back into the house already “Oi! Matte! Are you listening to me?!” I shouted and ran after him. Why did he become my bodyguard of all people?! I think I won’t be liking this guy ever!
