The tension that ruled over their household slowly dissipated since the night that Byul-yi talked to her roommate about a fair amount of the truth. Their lives resumed as normal as things quieted down. Neither of them mentions much about their conversation, but Yong-sun tries to remind herself before making possible ill comments, while Byul-yi tries to slowly open up to her roommate.

It's not easy, given Yong-sun's carefree attitude, and Byul-yi's seven years of solitude, but they try to make it work. So that they can stay with each other just a little longer.
