"An error happened in my office with some of the products, which is why I'm only getting home now," Jessica's drowsy voice sounded as she approached her lover, giving her a sweet kiss. "Did I make you worry?"

"Yes," Yoona responded quickly, a smile tugging at the corners of her lips. Jessica's tiredness seemed to melt away as she realized Yoona's concern. "Now, why don't you change into more comfortable clothes and get some rest?" Jessica lazily nodded, pulling Yoona close in an embrace before heading to the bathroom they shared.

As Yoona watched Jessica disappear into the bathroom, she settled onto the bed, ready to sleep. Moments later, she heard the bathroom door open, and Jessica returned to her side. Jessica's familiar presence pulled Yoona's arm gently, inviting her into an embrace. Soon, they both drifted into their dreams.

Weeks passed by, and Yoona found herself busier than ever. When you're chasing after something, being busy becomes a way of life, especially when you feel that your goal is within your reach. All that remains is to ensure you hold onto it tightly.

Yoona's relationship with Jennie was flourishing, and it was an understatement to say it was getting stronger. Yoona had successfully captured Jennie's heart, and she took pride in that. Yet, Jennie's intense love sometimes led to possessiveness and obsession, which occasionally grated on Yoona's nerves. At times, she yearned for solitude, only to remember that as the future head of the Kim's company, she would have to get accustomed to such dynamics. She berated herself for her own lack of foresight. She aimed for perfection, wanting to ensure that Jennie couldn't live without her, eliminating any doubts that might arise.

"Why are we here?" Yoona's tone was somber as she stared at the renowned club before them. She had been dragged along by the short girl and her friends, who were celebrating Seulgi's birthday. "I'd rather have with you in my car than step into this... well, revolting club," she remarked, momentarily distracted by a man vomiting outside the establishment.

Jennie couldn't help but giggle at Yoona's reaction. Her cheeks reddened, and she playfully smacked Yoona's shoulder. Despite her irritation, Yoona couldn't deny the power Jennie held over her.

Jennie stood before Yoona, locking eyes with her. Suppressing a smile, she studied Yoona's expressive gaze. "Just let go for tonight, it won't hurt to loosen up a bit."

Yoona's skepticism was evident in her murmur, just loud enough for Jennie to hear. Jennie fell silent, her own thoughts churning. However, Yoona's next words caught her attention. "I mean, there's nothing to lose if I try, right?" Jennie looked up, revealing her endearing gummy smile.

In moments like these, being with Jennie and witnessing her adorableness became Yoona's new delight. The way Jennie's cheeks turned red with embarrassment was a charming sight to behold, made all the more special by the knowledge that she was the one causing it.

"Let's go," Yoona nodded, and Jennie immediately entwined their hands together. The public display of affection was something Yoona was still adjusting to, given her age and the college student at her side. While she was getting used to it, she couldn't decide whether it was a positive or negative change.

At her age, Yoona could easily be mistaken for Jennie's older sister or cousin. This thought had amused her before, but now she found herself growing irritated by the lingering gazes of men who looked at Jennie with a predatory hunger. The disturbing thoughts that must be going through their minds made her want to protect Jennie even more fiercely, her grip on Jennie's hand tightening.

Noticing a man her age ogling Jennie's backside with unabashed lust, Yoona's jaw clenched. She took a sharp breath, suddenly releasing Jennie's hand, much to the younger girl's confusion. Concerned, Jennie's soft touch brushed against Yoona's arm, a soothing gesture as she inquired about what had happened.

"Are you okay?" Jennie's voice was filled with worry. "Did something happen? What's wrong?"

Yoona's gaze softened as she looked into Jennie's eyes, those captivating cat-like eyes that always seemed to pull her in. She glanced at the outfit Jennie was wearing – a short black Chanel dress that showcased her beauty with bold makeup and dark red lipstick. She questioned her own reaction, frustrated by her denial.

"Did I say something about your outfit earlier before we got here?" Jennie asked, her brows furrowed in confusion

"You're right, you looked beautiful," Yoona said with a sigh, realizing her bluntness. She needed to explain herself better. "I just wanted you to wear something less revealing, considering where we're going."

Jennie's expression shifted to a touch of sadness, as she understood that Yoona had reservations about her attire. "Should I go back and change? If it makes you uncomfortable, I can do that."

"It's fine, let's just join your friends," Yoona said, ending the topic and allowing Jennie to lead the way towards their group.

"Jennie!" The group greeted her with excitement as they settled around their table. "You look amazing, girl," they complimented Jennie's appearance, earning a smirk from her as she took her seat, pulling Yoona down beside her.

"Hello, Ms. Im!" Yoona waved at them, and they offered shy smiles in return. They still weren't entirely comfortable around their substitute teacher, especially in a club setting. They were cautious about letting loose and showing their uninhibited side, afraid of embarrassing themselves in front of someone they typically saw in a more formal environment.

Yoona's gaze shifted to Lisa, who seemed nonchalant about her appearance. Brushing it off, Yoona tried to focus on the celebration. "Happy birthday, Seulgi! This is our gift," Jennie exclaimed, pointing at Yoona as she handed over the present.

Seulgi eagerly accepted the gift, playfully contemplating what might be inside. "Should I open it now?" she teased, wiggling her eyebrows mischievously. "Any guesses?"

"Probably full of condoms," Yeri quipped, causing gasps and laughter among the group. Joy's reaction, trying to stop Yeri from saying more, made it evident that they were discussing something they shouldn't in front of Yoona. The awkwardness was diffused with a round of laughter when they realized the situation.

"Don't hold back on my account. Pretend I'm your age," Yoona reassured them sincerely. The truth was, she was the one feeling a bit out of place among college students. The was noticeable, and she worried about fitting in.

Everyone nodded, trying to relax even with Yoona present. "She's right. Besides, if the two of us get married, she'll be stuck with me forever. So you better get used to her," Jennie playfully interjected, causing gasps and laughter. Jennie's candid remarks about their future together were already a familiar topic among the group.

"Anyway, back to the gift," Irene grinned at Seulgi, filming as the birthday girl carefully opened the present. Seulgi's delighted scream revealed her excitement over the contents. She proudly held up her gift for everyone to see.

"Wow!" Chaeyoung exclaimed in awe as she saw the expensive camera. "Heol! That's the one you've been wanting, right?" Seulgi nodded enthusiastically, her gratitude overflowing as she repeatedly thanked both Jennie and Yoona.

"You're a rich girl, Jennie. This is why I can't wait for my birthday. You give such lavish gifts, and we can complain all we want about how expensive they are," Yeri chimed in candidly, earning agreements and nods from the rest of the group.

"Seriously, that's your dream camera. It's crazy expensive!" Wendy marveled, hardly able to believe her eyes. It was a Leica 0-series no.122, valued at a staggering 2.97 million USD.

"Jen, you're too sweet," Irene chimed in, touched by the thoughtful gesture. They had previously talked about not spending excessively on gifts, but Jennie was stubborn, insisting that money shouldn't be a barrier when showing appreciation to friends.

Seulgi's eyes glistened with tears as she approached Jennie. "Can I hug you? You actually got me something I've been dreaming about. I was saving up for it, but now it's here, thanks to you." Jennie giggled at her friend's emotional reaction and pulled her into a warm embrace, reassuring her that it was no big deal.

"It's not just me who paid for it. She contributed half," Jennie explained, gesturing towards Yoona, who waved it off modestly.

"Ms. Im, I know it's a bit strange, but can I get a hug too?" Seulgi turned towards Yoona, enveloping her in a hug before Yoona could even react. Laughter erupted from the group, enjoying Yoona's slightly awkward response.

"Let's get this party started!" Jisoo cheered, and with her proclamation, the girls began to relax, enjoying their drinks and embracing the celebratory atmosphere.

Chaeyoung leaned in closer to Wendy, their voices a bit louder to be heard over the music and chatter of the club. They shared stories about their previous experiences at clubs, where they had indulged in silly antics under the influence of alcohol. Laughter punctuated their reminiscences as they recounted embarrassing moments and outrageous dance moves.

Yeri and Joy, on the other hand, were engaged in some obvious flirting with a group of guys across the room, exchanging playful glances and laughter as they chatted animatedly.

Jisoo, Seulgi, and Lisa were engrossed in their own conversation, clinking glasses and sipping their drinks while expressing how much they were enjoying the party. Their laughter echoed the sentiment that they wished every day could be like this.

Jennie and Irene were deeply engrossed in their catch-up conversation, despite having seen each other just the other day. They leaned in, sharing stories and laughter, the familiarity between them evident in their easy camaraderie.

Meanwhile, Yoona observed her surroundings with a mixture of amusement and slight disbelief. Her gaze swept across the dance floor, where college students were enthusiastically grinding against each other, lost in the music and the moment.

Her attention was diverted when her phone vibrated in her pocket. Retrieving it, she found a message from Jessica.

From: Jessica my love
I'm fat...

Yoona raised an eyebrow, puzzled by the sudden message. She glanced at Jennie, who was preoccupied, before typing a reply: 'What are you saying?'

A few moments later, another message came through.

From: Jessica my love
Tiffany forced me to eat McDonald's hamburger!

A quiet laugh escaped Yoona as she read the message. She typed a response, her fingers dancing over the screen: 'I know you work out every day. You want to look as hot as me, don't you?'

Her phone buzzed with another incoming message.

From: Jessica my love
Your message changes my whole mood real quick, love :')

Unbeknownst to Yoona, Jennie had caught a glimpse of their conversation, her curiosity piqued by the playful exchange.

"Who are you texting?" The voice beside Yoona made her jump in her seat. She swiftly acted like it was nothing, sliding her phone back into her pocket.

"Just a client," Yoona nonchalantly shrugged, grabbing a beer from the table and taking a sip.

Jennie's gaze remained fixed on Yoona's profile, her fist involuntarily clenching at the sound of the lie. Why do you insist on hurting me like this, Yoona?

"Jen, want to dance?" Jennie quickly recomposed herself, turning to face her friends and inviting them to the dance floor. She forced a smile, nodding as she intentionally left Yoona out of the invitation.

Seeing them exchange messages right in front of her shattered her mood. She struggled to maintain her composure, her frustration mounting. It was as if Yoona was purposefully ignoring her. Fine, if you won't pay attention to me, then I'll ensure all your focus is on me tonight. Watch closely, Yoona. She raised her beer glass, downing its contents before walking away from the table.

Yoona remained seated, her eyes locked on Jennie who was having a blast on the dance floor. Left behind because she had refused to join them, Yoona couldn't help but question their choice of not booking a VIP room.

Arms crossed, Yoona continued to observe as a random guy approached Jennie. Squinting her eyes, she watched the guy introduce himself, recognizing him as the one who had been staring at Jennie's behind earlier. She kept her gaze fixed as Jennie seductively trailed her fingers along the guy's arm. When Jennie sent her an innocent look, Yoona understood what the game was. The guy's arm s around Jennie's waist, turning her around so her back was pressed against his front. It fueled Yoona's anger, her jaw clenching as she felt a surge of boiling blood at the sight of Jennie's annoyingly confident smirk.

Standing up abruptly, Yoona strode towards them, determinedly making her way through the crowd. "Come here," she hissed, her eyes locked on Jennie. "Let her go," she demanded, her tone firm.

"Oh, you're her sister? Impressive, a goddess too! Can I take your younger sister for a spin? Her assets are really...uh!" The guy leered suggestively, his eyes roaming over Jennie as she locked her gaze onto Yoona, barely suppressing a smirk.

Yoona's eyes briefly closed before she opened them again, a simmering anger evident in her gaze. "How do you not understand what I said? Let her go," she growled, her voice carrying a dangerous edge that hinted at her rising temper. She had to control herself, lest she do something she'd later regret.

"I'm just giving her what she wants, man. She seems to like my company. Just loosening up a bit," the guy retorted with a chuckle. His confidence wavered, however, when he met Yoona's unwavering gaze. He stepped back, feeling an intimidating force emanating from her stare, enough to make him back down. "Uh, sorry. I-I'm gonna go now," he stammered, hastily retreating and hoping he wouldn't cross paths with her again.

As the guy disappeared from sight, Yoona turned her attention back to Jennie, who sported an innocent smile. "What were you thinking? Giving him permission to take advantage of you? Are you out of your mind?" Yoona scolded the
