I keep my eyes on my food as the other girl in front of me busied herself with reading a newspaper and munching on her food from time to time. After the awkward situation earlier, I have had a hard time making eye contact with Sakura but it looks like she doesn't even remember what happened earlier, or maybe I'm just overthinking things?

Sakura cleared making me look up to her as she puts down the newspaper to look me in the eye

"S-sorry about earlier, I just sort of forgot that you were in my room. I was so used to being alone for a long time that I forgot." Her eyes screamed her sincerity that I couldn't help but give her a small smile. It wasn't that I was angry bout her walking out of the bathroom like that. It was just kind of a shock for me especially when it was her.

I shook my head to tell her that it was nothing but also, to shake away the thoughts coming to me.

"It's okay, I was just surprised" It was true, I would have never thought that I would see Sakura in just her towel. But now that I think about it, there was no need for me to panic

"I should be the one who should apologize. I was the one who went barged in your personal space last night" I smile as sheepishly as I could when I realized I was the one being rude to her

"Oh no. It's okay. I don't mind at all" Sakura was fidgeting with the edge of the newspaper as she tried to continue what she was saying

"I mean, it's not like it was the first time, right?" I turn away from her face at the memory and certainly she was right. So does this mean it wouldn't be weird to stay in one room with her? I felt excited at the thought of how I can get closer to her now

"Sakura!" A sudden voice came out of nowhere bellowing roaring across the room and it made Sakura and I turn to look at who just called my boss. 

A frown certainly made up its way across my face when I saw who it came from

Jason.

As professional as Sakura was who greeted him with a smile, I was the complete opposite. I turned to look at my food and start devouring it in bits to avoid eye contact with the guy who made himself comfortable by sitting on the chair beside me and Sakura.

"So are you coming to the party tonight?" I poke my tomato with my fork and try to listen in their conversation instead of actually eating. I know I wasn't included in the conversation and that the talk was for the higher ranked officials only. And the said party too. So I just sink myself in thinking of how I should eat this slice of tomato deliciously

"You know I'm not a party person, Jason" It would do well for the others if I'm not there" From Sakura's tone of voice, I could feel that she was giving Jason her precious smile. That jerk.

"On the contrary, Miss Miyawaki Sakura, everyone's is expecting you to be there." I look up and see that smug look on Jason's face and if he wasn't some rich guy who's doing business with our company I would've sarcastically wiped that smug off his face. But sadly I'm just an employee who's trying to work her way everyday

My eyes darted to Sakura's face who gave him a raised brow

"I'm not lying! When everyone knew you'd be here in New York. Everyone kept asking me if they would get to meet you at the party!" I wondered if this was how famous Sakura was in the business world, people from different companies asking to meet her. I dart my eyes back to Sakura who picked up her cup of coffee

"And why would they ask you?" 

"Because they assumed we know each other because of how many times they've seen as speak together. Oh if only they knew how many times I had to put up a fake smile after being rejected so many times" The young lad scratched his nape and chuckled shyly and I saw Sakura apologizing in light manner but the young guy just shoved it away. My suspicions was right though, this guy does like Sakura

"So what do you say? It's just for a couple of hours" Sakura didn't speak for awhile and I could feel Jason holding his breath waiting for Sakura's answer

"Alright, I'll stay for an hou
