I adjust myself comfortably on my office chair as I prepare myself for work. I then greeted my fellow officemates as they came in one by one. The team building really did the work, if before we only saw each other as officemates, now we felt really close, almost like a family. I then prepare myself and start typing away at my keyboard.

While working, I unconsciously looked at the time situated at the corner of my monitor and saw the time, 8:55am

She should be arriving any minute now, I keep myself from the excitement that I was feeling. Feeling overjoyed at the fact that I would be able see her again after the parting yesterday. I had a hard time falling asleep last night since I regretted that I couldn't even say goodbye properly and I couldn’t wait to see her again.

I continue to work on my computer and noticed that the blonde girl had not arrived yet it was way past 9 already, I recheked the time feeling bothered why Sakura hasn't come to work yet and then Chaeyeon came into view,  

“Sakura left for Japan earlier this morning, she’ll be back in a couple of days” I was surprised and at the same time crestfallen. I had wanted to spend some time with her today, maybe at lunch or even catch a glimpse of her to make my day but the sudden announcement disheartened me. More so that she wouldn’t be coming back for a few days. I sighed helplessly

It has been a few days after Sakura left and we have been bombarded with non-stop work. With Sakura out of the picture, we had to cover most of the works coming for her. We knew she was out on a business trip and that it was inevitable but the whole week was so stressful to us that I almost dreaded going back to the office the next day.

I groan at the headache caused by the mountain of paperwork when I sat down on my office chair. Thank goodness it was already Friday, I could finally rest tomorrow. 

“Let’s do this guys!” I heard Yena cheer and we all chuckled at her knowing she was just cheering us up for the paperworks that needed to be done for the day.

I sighed and pump my fist discreetly.

I heard groans and sighs of relief when the clock ticked 5. We all had obvious tired smiles on our faces but we still were all glad that we managed to finish most of the works.

“Let’s celebrate later!” Wonyoung proclaim and made everyone beam with excitement. Everyone agreed to what Wonyoung had suggested, we could all use a break and a celebration from all of this.

We all get ready to leave for the celebration and decided to have barbeque at a nearby restaurant. When we arrived, everyone else was seated themselves with Chaewon and Chaeyeon in either side of me and the rest around the table. We also called Eunbi to celebrate with since we hadn’t seen her and we kinda missed her. We had already ordered when Eunbi arrived.

“Hey there, babies. How’s it been?” Eunbi chimed happily as she made her way towards us. 

“Eunbi-unnieee, the week has been so stressful!” Nako whined at Eunbi who engulfed her in a tight hug. 

“Sakura left you with so much work to do, huh?” She chuckled when everyone nodded altogether.

We all continued to talk about different kinds of things aside from work, relieved about the week finally ending. My thoughts wandered to a certain blonde wondering how she was doing, I never heard anything about her and it made me feel sad knowing that she was the only one missing from this group. Also, I missed her already. I reminisce her knowing face with those deep brown eyes, those ears and those lips. I blush. Snapping me out of my reverie was when Eunbi answered her phone

“Kkura!” Eunbi exclaimed when she answered her phone earning all of our excited attention. 

“You’re back already? Huh? Where am I? I’m with your team, come join us. Everybody is here. Great! I’ll text you the address” Eunbi continued on and everyone’s eyes and ears were on her.

“Sakura-unnie is back?” Wonyoung excitedly asks what everyone was dying to ask and with a nod of Eunbi everyone seem to erupt in a cheer either they were happy that their favorite leader was back or that the load of work they would have would lessen with Sakura’s help but either way they were glad that Sakura was back
