There was no such thing for time to stop.

Sometimes it would be better for those who desired it but what good would it do?

Jiho sighed as she saw a bus coming and knew she would miss it again just like the last two busses that came by. She had to get away from the campus after seeing Minhyuk. She got away but didn't know where to go. She kept walking until they found a bench and she stayed put.

She didn't move from her place.

She took out her cell and reread the messages Jooheon sent her. She wasn't sure what he meant by them. She could've asked Minhyuk earlier but she didn't want to acknowledge him just yet. She closed her eyes the moment the bus stopped and a few people got in line to get on.

Jiho took a deep breath before letting it out and opened her eyes. She stared at her phone only seeing the reflection of herself. The screen had gone black and that's how she felt right now.

Black.

Dark.

A shadow that disappears when the sun appears.

Her world seemed to be crumbling again for falling in love with a boy who messed around with her feelings. But in ways, she felt maybe it wasn't true.

I love you.

Those words rang loud and clear in Jiho's mind.

He wouldn't have said it if he didn't mean it.

But what about the night before with--

"Jiho?"

The young girl snapped her head up and saw Yoonji smiling down at her.

"I thought it was you. What are you doing?"

Jiho didn't know what to say to her but she managed to stand up in her place and a few tears started to build. She didn't know what came over her but the moment they left her eyes, Yoonji acted quickly and held the young girl in her arms.

Yoonji had no idea what was going on but all she could do was give the poor girl comfort and sooth her. The older girl had gotten off the bus to go do an errand but when she was about to walk off, she spotted a young girl who looked familiar. She couldn't help but smile and call out to her.

Yoonji saw a surprised to see Jiho lost in her thoughts that was probably making her confused.

"It's ok Sweetheart, did Minhyuk do something?" She asked holding the girl in place wanting to know if that was the case.

Jiho pulled away from the embrace and sniffled pushing away any snot that came out. "I...I don't know."

"What do you mean?" Yoonji cupped her face like a mother would do to a daughter. "What happened?"

Jiho closed her eyes trying to collect herself to tell Yoonji the story. She sighed shaking her head. "It's a long story. I'm sorry for my sudden break down."

"Nonsense!" Yoonji pulled the girl back wrapping one arm around her. "Come to my place and tell me what happened. I can do my errand later and maybe Himchan can give you a second opinion."

Himchan?

Jiho turned her head to the side staring up at Yoonji with wide eyes.

Yoonji held out her hand for a taxi, waving it over to her. She turned back to Jiho, who kept staring at her conflicted. "Oh don't worry, he isn't your teacher anymore and you are my guest! He can't tell you anything. If he does, his sleeps on the sofa."

A small smile crept to Jiho's face the moment the taxi was in front of them. Yoonji opened the door first letting Jiho go inside first. The moment Yoonji shut the door after getting inside, she told the driver where to go and placed her hand on Jiho's.

At first Jiho didn't know what to think but Yoonji gave her a motherly vibe that was caring, soft and warm.

"When we get to the apartment, I'll give you ice cream and you can tell us everything." Yoonji gave her hand a squeeze making eye contact with Jiho. The younger girl nodded biting her bottom lip. "Excellent!"

Minhyuk sighed as he was sitting in the canteen not touching his food. He was leaning back in his chair staring at his untouched bottled water. He heard the noise and others talking around him at the table.

Hyungwon was in a debate conversation with Wonho and Kihyun; while Nahyun was messing with her phone messaging her friends. Now that she patched things up with Wonho, she has been at his side.

Changkyun had been talking to Shownu about a few things dealing with his family and might be absent for a few days.

All that was left is Jooheon and he was the last person to get his food. He sat next to Minhyuk and saw his food untouched. He opened his mouth to say something but he got a nudge from Shownu shaking his head.

Jooheon understood and left Minhyuk alone.

Minhyuk closed his eyes and rubbed his temple first and then pinched the bridge of his nose trying to block every noise possible. He thought he could block it out but it just kept getting louder by the second.

Minhyuk pushed up from his place leaving his meal and grabbed his bag walking out of the canteen not informing the others. He didn't need to since they saw him get up and leave.

"I hope Jiho lets him explain everything." Nahyun mumbled but she was heard from the other side of the table.

"She will." Shownu answered her putting some rice in his mouth.

"I have something to say." Jooheon sighed before looking up at the others. He had all eyes on him but he stared at Shownu last. "Jiho and I are cousins."

A few mouths were dropped and a few eyes widen.

Jooheon tore his gaze away from Shownu and gave a smile to the others including Nahyun. He felt his heart racing and it would probably explode if someone didn't say something. He would be willing to hear anything. He will take it.

Nahyun was the first one and scoffed. "That explains why you were so defensive towards her!"

Jooheon nodded silently. "Yes."

Nahyun moved her eyes to Shownu and widen them. "You were in on it too! I mean how else would you defend her. Right?"

Shownu followed Jooheon, nodding as well. "He told me and I kept it a secret."

"Does Minhyuk know?" Kihyun asked staring at Jooheon.

"He did after I punched him." Jooheon answered him with a sigh.

"Wow." Changkyun replied.

"Why did you keep it from us? We could have helped her if she-"

"She didn't want people to know and start more rumors." Jooheon cut off Hyungwon from finishing his sentence. "The story I told Minhyuk is that our Mom's are close friends but after he made her cry, I punched him and told him to stay away from her. She is basically like a little-"

"Sister?" Wonho cut him off.

Jooheon nodded at him and the others. "We grew up together , so I am always there for her."

Just when Hyungwon was going to say something Shownu spoke. "After the rumors happened, I was with Jooheon and I met Jiho's mother. She asked him for a favor to watch over Jiho and Jooheon asked me to keep it a secret and help him if necessary."

Everyone on the table didn't say anything.

It was new information to sink in.

Jooheon sighed and leaned back on his chair. "I love you all like brothers, including Minhyuk. But I've seen Jiho cry a lot and I drew my line there. I gave him fair warning and we're fine now. He just can't focus like he wants because his mind is occupied with Jiho."

Nahyun snorted at Jooheon's last comment. "Of course he can't! He is in love and when that happens it blinds people."

Wonho couldn't help but give his girlfriend a kiss on the cheek. "You're cute."

Hyungwon rolled his eyes. "I'm going to lose my appetite! Do your lovey dovey elsewhere!"

"Don't be bitter." Kihyun commented with a smile. "Wait until you find a girlfriend and do the same."

"Yeah and we can tease you about it too!" Changkyun added with a smirk.

Hyungwon rolled his eyes and stuffed his food in his mouth not saying anything else.

Jooheon stared back at Shownu, who only smiled and gave him a nod for doing a good job for telling the others. Now that they knew, Jiho would be protected and have company with whatever happens. Jooheon just has to rely the message later.

Minhyuk was finally outside and felt free from all the noise.

He looked up from the distance he had walked and couldn't help but sneer seeing the place he was out. It was the tree Jiho enjoyed to be at. He looked over to the bench and saw it empty. He went to it and placed his bag on it. He sighed before laying down and covered one arm over his eyes.

He didn't want to be bothered by anyone.

Minhyuk hoped with his arm covering his eyes, he could try and pretend to sleep while his mind was just filled with thought of Jiho.

He missed her a lot.

He wanted to hold her in his arms.

He wanted to take in her scent to feel relaxed.

He wanted to be the one to make her smile and be her rock when she is sad.
