Sometime around 2017

 

“Mama!”

 

Sana calls.

 

She runs to the woman who opens the door for her.

 

“Sana chan!”

 

Her mother excitedly envelops her in her arms.

 

She starts reprimanding Sana about a lot of things.

 

Scolding her because she is thinner than usual.

 

The circles around her eyes are like an actual hole to some type of void.

 

“Had Momo come too?”

 

Her mom excitedly asks.

 

But to her dismay, the woman who appears behind her daughter is a stranger to her.

 

“Ah… mama, this is Sunmi, she is one of the bosses in the company I am working at, It is actually a business trip, not a personal vacation,” Sana explains.

 

Sunmi bows to Sana’s mother.

 

She does speak Japanese too so communicating with them is not a problem.

 

Sana’s mother looks at Sunmi in surprise. She knows what is going on, but there is nothing much to say about it.

 

She has no idea about Momo and Sana’s break up.

 

She glares to her daughter as a warning.

 

Sana shakes her head.

 

“I see, uhm.. please come in,” She welcomes Sunmi in her house.

 

Sunmi smiles to them.

 

There is not a doubt, Sunmi is hot.

 

One of the most beautiful people her mother has seen.

 

They went inside Sana’s home.

 

Sana runs to her father who is on the bed.

 

“Papa,”

 

The tears in Sana’s eyes appear before she knows it.

 

Her father, the strongest man she knows is lying on the bed. He can barely move any part of his body but when he sees Sana.

 

The tears in his eyes overflow.

 

Sana takes a deep breath for her tears to not fall.

 

She feels his apologies.

 

She feels his worries.

 

She feels his regret.

 

All of it.

 

“I am okay, papa,” Sana reassures.

 

Yet, as a parent, they both knew that there is something that is hurting Sana.

 

The sad truth is that they cannot do anything about it.

 

“Please be a better papa, please,” Sana pleads in her broken voice.

 

Sana heard from her mother that her father does not want to do therapy because it is so expensive.

 

They do not want to burden Sana on that.

 

Sana holds on her father’s hand.

 

He made a sound.

 

A sound that he seems to disagree on what Sana said.

 

A parent never wants to burden that much.

 

“Papa please,”

 

Sana feels her heart too heavy.

 

So –

 

No matter how she tries to stop her feelings.

 

No matter how much she tries to hide all the pain.

 

“Papa, please, please be better, I will do everything for you, I can’t lose you, I can’t lose the people I love anymore, I don’t know what will I do, I don’t know…. So please papa, don’t be stubborn… PAPA,”

 

Sana cries louder.

 

She lays on her father’s chest.

 

She lets out all of her frustration and hurt.

 

She lets out everything that pulls her heart apart.

 

She cries in the arms of the person she trusts the most.

 

The person who should protect him in everything.

 

He can barely move a hand.

 

But he tried his best to caress Sana’s back.

 

Cooing her baby girl.

 

With that breakdown.

 

Sana had her father agree on the therapy.

 

Sunmi lets Sana stay with her family that night even though they are on a business trip that time.

 

She sees the situation of Sana.

 

And, she looks at the ground.

 

She finally hated the person who has hurt Sana this bad.

 

She is so pure.

 

How could someone hurt her that much?

 

Sunmi helped.

 

She helps for Sana’s needs.

 

For Sana’s parents.

 

She helps.

 

And before she knew it.

 

She gets attracted to her.

 

A feeling that she did not want to happen.

 

A feeling that she makes her look at Sana
