Sometime around 2018

 

“Good morning!”

 

Hirai Momo gleefully greets.

 

Sana yelps in surprised when she sees Momo in front of their doorsteps.

 

She looks at Momo once then twice.

 

She immediately furrows her eyebrows in anger.

 

“Hi, I was just passing by I figured to visit you,” Momo says.

 

Sana clenches her jaw.

 

She turns her back to Momo.

 

She gives out a cold demeanor to her ex-lover.

 

Momo smiles.

 

“Can I give you a ride?”

 

Momo follows her like a child.

 

She points at the white car parked near the vicinity.

 

Sana pays a second of gaze but decides to ignore.

 

She puts her earphone on.

 

“Uhm... Sana –“

 

Momo pulls Sana’s arm.

 

Sana looks at her glaring.

 

There is a hidden message saying ‘touch me and you are dead’

 

And Momo felt that tension.

 

So, she lets go of Sana’s arm in an instance.

 

“Sorry – sorry, you seem to not have a good morning, I will just walk you to the bus stop,” Momo is having a monologue.

 

She tries to walk side by side with Sana.

 

But Sana stops.

 

Momo stops too.

 

Sana grits her teeth.

 

She also tightens the hold of her bag.

 

Momo feels the tension again.

 

She takes two steps backward.

 

Then Sana starts walking.

 

Then Momo follows again.

 

Sana stops she glares to Momo’s direction.

 

“I am… going the same direction,” Momo says shaking.

 

Sana glares another minute longer.

 

Then continue walking.

 

Sana runs to get on the bus.

 

And Momo did too.

 

They are on the same bus.

 

Sana finds it irritating.

 

Momo just smiles at her.

 

Sana ignores her and looks in another direction.

 

She is giving Momo the cold shoulder.

 

But to be honest, she is startled with Momo’s action.

 

She does not know how to react.

 

And Momo knows that of course, she knows Sana too well.

 

Sana is standing in the middle of the bus when someone accidentally hit her.

 

“Ah. Noona, I’m sorry,” A boy who looks younger than her apologizes.

 

Sana looks hurt and pissed.

 

Being hit by an umbrella on her head is no joke.

 

Yet, she forces a smile.

 

“it’s okay,”

 

“Are you sure noona? I’m so sorry, really,” He panics.

 

He bows endlessly. He even tries to hold on Sana’s hand.

 

Sana is caught off guard.

 

“Noona has a good hand,” He caresses Sana’s hand.

 

Sana pulls her hand from him.

 

“Uh.. thanks,” she is flustered with the compliment.

 

He smiles.

 

“Ah, noona, I’m so sorry really, I really want to make it up to you, can I get your number? I can treat you coffee sometime, my name is Seungmin,” He smiles at Sana.

 

Sana’s eyes widen.

 

She flustered.

 

“Here is my phone,” Seungmin is giving his phone to Sana.

 

Sana is about to take it.

 

“Yah, boy, stop picking up cute Noonas, find someone your age, she’s too good for you,”

 

Momo comes in between them.

 

She glares to Seungmin.

 

Seungmin feels threatened.

 

There is something about Momo’s eyes.

 

Momo needs to come in between because she knows Sana too well.

 

She cannot say no. Even though she does not like it.

Even though Sana thinks otherwise, she would never say no.

 

Because that is what kind of person she is.

 

Seungmin glares back to Momo.

 

Then he lets them be.

 

Sana presses the button for the next stop.

 

And she takes off the bus.

 

Momo follows her.

 

“Sa-chan, are you okay?”

 

Momo asks.

 

“That kid seems persistent, this is not your stop, why did you – “

 

“What is it to you if I want to give my number to him?” Sana cuts Momo off.

 

Momo freezes.

 

“Why are you even following me, you said you have a car then, ride your car let me have a peaceful morning,” Sana sounds frustrated.

 

“We both know you don’t want that boy in your life, I am saving you in giving your number to him, to not annoy you more,” Momo playfully rebuttals.

 

“Annoy me more? Don’t you think that could be the breath of fresh air I need?”

 

Sana is angry.

 

Momo smiles.

 

She likes the angry cute girl in Sana.

 

Sana rolls her eyes.

 

“What is so funny?”

 

Momo keeps smiling.

 

Then she looks at Sana baring her love for the girl.

 

She looks at her so in love.

 

“I miss you,” She utters in the sincerest manner.

 

Sana’s eyes widen.

 

Her ears turn red.

 

She can feel her heart racing.

 

She shakes her head.

 

“TAXI!” Sana calls in an instance.

 

A car stops in front of her.

 

She immediately goes inside.

 

But when she is about to close the door.

 

Momo stops it.

 

“I want you back Sana, and I will do everything to get you back, have a good day,”

 

Momo says like a knight in every fairytale told.

 

Sana looks at her.

 

She is shining.

 

Momo closes the door and smile at her.

 

Sana is so flustered.

 

She holds on her chest.

 

“Yah! Stop!” She scolds her heart, but the cab driver stopped the car.

 

Sana looks at him.

 

“Ah … sorry I mean please continue,” she says.

 

Sana takes a deep breath.

 

Momo appearing by her doorstep is a big surprise.

 

She cannot completely say that she does not like it.

 

But…

 

She knows she can’t.
