The cold onshore breeze blew right through Momo and Sana’s sweater.

 

They are sitting on the white sand in silence.

 

Staring at a bonfire they argued making.

 

Sana wanted to do everything by herself but soon as she is having trouble starting a fire Momo stepped in and made it in one snap.

 

Sana puffed her cheeks in annoyance.

 

She cannot be that helpless.

 

Momo giggled on how cute she was.

 

And, that made Sana ignore her because of the taunt.

 

It was usual for them.

 

They are still young with burning feelings for each other.

 

The silence disappeared when they loudly sigh in synched.

 

They look at each other in surprise.

 

Then they look in another direction.

 

“Sorry,” They profess in unison.

 

They look at each other once again.

 

They are always that synched.

 

This time, Sana smiles to Momo.

 

She smiles with her eyes disappearing.

 

Momo’s heart always stops from beating every time Sana does that.

 

It skips a beat.

 

She blushes.

 

And –

 

Momo jumps into Sana’s body.

 

She hugs her crying her apologies.

 

Promising to never do whatever that was.

 

Sana consoles her in an instance.

 

Momo is this cute crybaby all the time.

 

“It’s okay, Momoring. It was my fault,”

 

Momo still cries.

 

She is hugging Sana so tight.

 

“Momoring, stop crying, you are making me want to cry too,” Sana complaints.

 

There are tears threatening to come out of her eyes.

 

Momo sniffs so loud.

 

She wipes the tears away from her eyes.

 

“Sa – chan, should not cry,” Momo baby talks.

 

Sana giggles in glee.

 

She loves this Momo.

 

They did not realize how close their faces are.

 

The ambiance becomes even more romantic with the moonlight shining through them.

 

Momo stays in silence.

 

She just looks at Sana’s beautiful face.

 

She is tracing Sana’s face with her eyes.

 

She looks at Sana’s tantalizing eyes.

 

Sana’s perfectly pointed nose.

 

Sana’s wonderfully crafted jaw.

 

Sana’s chin.

 

And ~

 

Sana’s slightly opened moist lips.

 

She gulps.

 

Momo can hear her heart all over her body.

 

She is shaking.

 

They have been dating for over a year but they have not kissed yet.

 

Surely, Sana has always tried to make advances but Momo is too cautious about everything.

 

When Momo felt like doing it.

 

Mina pops out of nowhere.

 

And that is why she could not do it.

 

Sana is shaking.

 

It is happening.

Sana freezes.

 

Momo holds on her chin.

“MOMO NE-CHAN, Happy Birthday!!”

 

Midnight happened.

 

And it is Momo’s birthday.

 

“Where the hell did she come from?” Momo asks in disappointment.

 

She needs to hide her face on Sana’s neck.

 

Mina is arriving with the rest of the school behind her.

 

Sana’s eyebrows are twitching.

 

“Sorry, Momoring, it is a surprise party that I regretted organizing!” Sana glares at everyone.

 

She could have gotten her kissed if Momo was a little too early.

 

People arrived with party stuff.

 

They have no idea what was supposed to happen between the lovers.

 

Sana is smiling with tears because of the disappointment.

 

But, when she looks at Momo.

 

Talking to her friends.

 

Playing with Mina.

 

Blowing the cake that Sana baked.

 

Enjoying the night.

 

Sana smiled.

 

Momo’s smiles would be the best reward, okay, fine second to best reward.

 

They stayed by the beach all night.

 

Dancing.

 

Singing.

 

Embracing their youths.

 

Maybe the best night ever.

 

The best birthday that Momo has experienced yet.

 

They stayed until dawn.

 

People partied and left.

 

Mina flopped inside the tent with her PSP in hand.

 

Sana yawns.

 

She looks around the place.

 

There is some cleaning that needs to be done so she stretches her body.

 

“Better get started now,”

 

She grabs a big trash bag and starts picking up the trashes.

 

When she is busy doing her task.

 

She is surprised by a sudden sensation.

She turns to around to face Momo.

 

They both gulp.

 

Their faces are so close to each other.

 

They are both blushing like a rotten tomato.

 

Momo has an idea what could be that best gift ever.

 

This time she is not going to say no.

 

She will accept it wholeheartedly. She gulps.

Sana is maybe too immersed in the moment.

 

She seems to want to do it too.

 

But before Momo could claim the gift she is expecting Sana shows her a pink envelope.

 

She puts it in between their faces.

 

The disappointment on Momo’s face is too visible.

 

“Happy Birthday, Momoring,”

 

Sana greets.

 

“Thank you,” Momo is trying to hide the disappointment on her tone.

 

But Sana giggles.

But she does want to give that gift to Momo.

 

She worked hard for it.

 

Momo opens it.

 

“Pieces of papers?” Momo pulls everything out.

 

“YAH, it is not just pieces of paper, you see, turn it around!”

 

Momo does what she was told.

 

“Coupons?” She looks baffled.

 

“Not just any other coupons! Those are powerful coupons you see, you will have the power to ask me to do anything! It’s like slavery coupons, Master Momo,” Sana proudly says.

 

“ANYTHING?” Momo asks excitedly.

 

“YAH… Not that thing, I mean,” Sana blushes.

 

She looks at the ground.

 

“What are you thinking? I am thinking to have you join the math club activities that could be funny you’d be so pissed, and you are not allowed to object!”

 

Momo teases. That is 100% true.

 

Oh, Momo and her innocent mind.

 

Sana rolls her eyes. She was worried for nothing.

 

But she does not mind doing it with Momo.

Momo looks at the coupons.

 

She smiles seeing the cute drawings of Sana.

“Seize fire coupon?”

 

“Well, you can use it when you and I had a fight or when I am pissed at you for something, it’s like I will have no choice than to forgive you,” Sana explains.

 

Momo grins.

“Sugar mommy coupon?” Momo giggles with the name.

 

Sana looks embarrassed.

 

“That one is, you know, I’d be your sugar mommy in a day. Like I will pamper you and pay for everything for you, Like that,”

 

Sana is looking in another direction.

 

Momo smiles.

 

She is excited to use that one.

 

She then looks at the next one.

 

“Dominant coupon?” There is an evil grin plastered on Momo’s face.

 

Sana covers her face in embarrassment.

 

“By the term itself, you’d have the power to do anything to me. But it is only valid when I did something wrong like I started a fight or something, you’d be my master,”

 

“Oh, so more like a punishment coupon,” Momo smiles so wide.

 

Sana nods shyly.

 

She is now regretting this idea.

 

Momo flips to the next coupon.

 

“Summoning coupon?”

 

Sana looks even more embarrassed.

 

“Well, that one, as it says there you could summon me whenever, wherever you want, and I will be like your slave for the day, that one is a very powerful one you know,”

 

Momo blushes.

 

 “And this one? Love coupon?”

 

“That one, uhm, that is the most special of all the coupons. You can use it three times in this lifetime. You can order me to show you how much, I –“ Sana gulps.

 

Her heart is in chaos.

 

“I – “

 

“Show me,” Momo says a little too serious.

 

Sana looks at her straight in her eyes.

 

“I am using this coupon now, so show me,”

 

“It’s not, I..” Sana startles.

 

She gulps.

 

Momo is deadly serious.

 

“Minatozaki Sana, I am claiming this Love coupon, I want you to show me, with a kiss,” Momo orders.

 

Sana’s heart starts doing cartwheel inside her chest.

Sana is cut off.

 

It was sudden, but it makes the butterflies in her stomach rumble.

 

A soft pair of lips on hers.

She can tell that Momo is also nervous about his.

Sana is about to close her eyes.

 

Yet, Momo pulls away.
