**** At First Sight
AlterThe summer breeze light and soft, as the sun was not scorching hot. I took my daily stroll through the town. I passed by old man Ji and his wife, Madam Song, the most kindest couple I ever knew. They were happy together, and I found that to be the most beautiful thing in this world. How I've dreamed to find someone who makes me the most happiest in this world. My mother told me at the age of 7, I will grow to marry a man who will love me for who I am and shower me with endless love for the rest of my life. And since then I prayed to God for just that.
I continued down the road, greeting the baker this time as he displayed freshly made bread and pastries on his stand. Oh, how tastey they looked. Then I past by the local town hall, where the mayor works, after that came the church. And finally my destination, the music store. Miss Alice, the only person in town who knew to play these melodious instruments and the owner of the store was a great teacher of mine. She taught me how to sing, it didn't take long as she claimed I was a natural born talent. We would often sing together, and she would teach me something knew whenever she could. I loved to learn about the world's music, and she had knew so much about it.
Did I mention Alice came from another part of the world? I never understood why she had come to this small town of people, but when she told me she prefered to be here because it was small and quiet I thought she had gone insane.
I was just near the entrance of the music store when I saw the most unusual thing ever. Someone, a girl, with cascading locks of brown, a button nose, prominent jawline, onyx eyes, with flawless pale skin. Something out of a fairy tale, someone perhaps, a stranger, a beauty, unknown and enchanting. An eye-catcher I must say.
