*Solar POV *

Everything is different from how I imagined. When I was a kid I thought by 26 I’d be married to the man of my dreams. In a high paying job, starting a family. 

“What are you thinking about?” Byul asks me after she swallows her black bean noodles as we sit next to each other on the black couch in her office during lunch. 

I look across and burst out laughing. 

“What?” She asks confused 

“You have black bean sauce all over your face!”

She picks up the serviette and wipes the one place which was free of sauce, “Gone?” 

I take the serviette from her and wipe it for her, “There.”

She blushes and looks away, “Thanks.”

Why is she getting shy now. Yesterday we had … on this couch... With a strap on. I swallow and start coughing on my noodles. 

“Are you ok?” She asks with a slight chuckle while passing me water. 

“Thanks.” I say and down a large amount of the water, “I’m good now.” I put the water down, “Byul-ah what was your dream… when you were a kid?”

“My dream? Hmmm I don’t know. I always saw my dad working so I wanted to help him out. What about you?”

“Just… the cliché.”

“What’s the cliché ?” She asks as she moves my hair behind my ear for me. 

“Stable job… married, kids.”

“Uh… huh.” 

“Now I can’t even imagine it. It’s weird how things change.”

“For a second I thought you were going to say you wanted to elope.”

“What! No! It’s way too soon for that! I mean no!” I deny 

“Way too soon for that, huh?” She says with a smirk 
I hit her, “I didn’t mean it like that!”

She laughs

I look at my arrogant girlfriend smiling at me and I pout. Different from what I imagined as a kid but this is good too.

It’s Saturday but I kept Byul company at work till lunch. The rest of the day I’m spending time with my mom. Doing some sight seeing around Seoul before she goes back. 

“This one is pretty.” My mom says while showing me a jewelled necklace through the glass

“Wow the colors are so beautiful! It must be expensive!” 

The staff member sees us looking and walks over, “Would you like to try it on?”

“No thanks we’re just looking.” I say 

“It should be fine to try it on.” My mom says to me and before I can respond the female stuff replies 

“Trying it on is completely fine.”

“OK then I’ll try it on.” I give in but secretly I want to see how it looks. 

The staff opens the glass case and gently takes it out. She moves behind me and puts on the expensive looking necklace. 

“Wow you look so beautiful sweetheart!” My mom praises 

“Would you like to see. There’s a mirror over there.” The staff guides 

I look in the mirror and all I can say is, “Wow…”

I’m scared I’m gonna break it. 

“How much is it?”

“This one is part of our new collection from Avel. The current price is 4 Million Won.” The staff explains 

“OMO 4 Million!” My mom exclaims

“Thank you! I’m done trying it on!” I say in panic 

After she takes it off I can finally breath normally. Imagine if I broke it! I don’t have 4 million won! I guess that would be nothing for Byullie. She could probably buy the whole store full. I look around and now I feel queasy. She could buy the whole store… I can’t believe I know someone who could do that. I can’t believe I’m dating the CEO of MOON FRICKING INDUSTRIES. I was with her not even 2 hours ago eating black bean noodles.
