As i got home, i rang the doorbell and waited.

The maid opened the door, i gave her a smile. 

"Welcome back Ms. Jiah" she said enthusiastically.

"Thank you" i said smiling a little.

"Your parents are in the study room waiting for you" she said.

"They could've received me on the door if not at the airport," i thought and sighed.

"Okay thanks" i said and walked towards the study room.

I knocked on the door and waited for the permission.

"Come in" My father's voice came.

As i enter i scanned the room, my father was in his king sized chair and my mother was sitting across from him on a chair.

"Hello Mom and Dad" i said smiling.

"Welcome home darling" my mom said strolling towards me engulfing me in a hug. 

"Welcome home" my father said and hugged me too.

We all sat. My father on his chair and mom and me across from him. My mom turned towards me.

"How was the flight?" My mom asked

"A pure hell" i wanted to say but then i thought i entered the real hell just now. 

"It was good" i said smiling which came out as wince.

"You must be jet legged, why don't you go and rest, I'll have the chef cook your favorite dishes" my mom asked smiling.

"That sounds great" i said.

A rest sounds amazing after the torture I've gone through.

"Good then let's meet at the lunch" my father said taking his coat and walking out of the study room.

I walked out too heading upstairs towards my room.

As in enter my room i came to the realization that i freaking miss my room.

There was a queen sized bed which by the way is my first love. The wall behind the bed is in red colour with a portrait of mine and the rest three walls are white. To the right of the bed are three big windows with red curtains draped over them.

There is a small library in a corner of my room. A white table and a white chair.

My room is pretty much simple.

I threw myself on the bed and sighed. Taking in the scent of my covers. I miss it.

I woke up feeling better or more exhausted i can't tell. I checked the time on my phone, and i have one hour till lunch. Enough for me.

I took a shower for half hour. Then i wore the bathrobe and came out to change. 

I chose a simple dress, blue in colour which came just above my knees.

I blow-dried my hair and put on a lip tint and mascara. And wore silver earrings.

I walk to down the stairs towards dining room. My parents were settled in their seats as usual. 

I sat in my chair and we begin to eat.

"What are your plans now that you've completed your studies" my father asked.

"I haven't think of it yet" i said.

"You don't have to, you're the only heir to the Kim Corporation, it's common sense you've to take over the company" he said with authority in his voice.

"I know that well dad, but i just came back and i want to enjoy myself before taking over the company" i said.
